    The interesting part of shaft fittings is taking that data and overlaying the shot results. The Mizuno shaft optimizer matched my swing dynamics to Luke Donald's, not a lot of load, and in comparing the outcomes of the DG/PX the DG gave me 2 extra yards of distance while the PX narrowed dispersion by 5 yards. I took the 5.

    Just been custom fitted for a set of Mizuno JPX HM pro irons. The swing analyser (old irons, 3 swings) and subsequent testing suggested Project X LX 6.5. So order placed. 👍

    Hi Keenan,
    This is a great idea. I learned a lot. I have a nerve damaged on my right side of my arm. As a result I lost at least 10 mph clubhead speed of my swing, but I still generate a lot of spin. This was not a big issue before my accident. In your opinion, which iron shaft would help me to create a more penetrating path, instead of up in the air and drop straight down.
    Thanks.

    Im the number two player that prefers the number one shaft. Dg for me even with my aggressive swing.

    what you said about feeling the shaft load is exactly why i hate the projectx shafts that my irons came with. unfortunately i bought my clubs used so its what they had in them. i think i would like dynamic gold because what i like about my wedges is that i can feel the shaft load. im striking the ball well but i have to swing really hard to feel anything.,

      Feel the same. Playing DGS300's and have another set that come with Projext X PXi 6.0s and I hate that i can't feel the shaft load on the PX PXi's.

    Always super informative videos! Great job! I love my PX LZ shafts in my irons. So in comparison, the midsection of LZ would be more similar to DG?

    My swing suits the Project X but I prefer the feel of DG Tour Issue. Like he said, you can actually feel it load and unload.

    These videos are great, appreciate the info. Please keep doing these, and discuss shaft choices on tour or even more comparisons like Project X regular vs. LS vs. IO

    Would these same rules apply for the dynamic gold 105 vss?

  • @CaribSurfKing1

    I am big guy, fast club head speed but very very slow loader. I actually prefer DG S300 and even DG R300 as they still hit low and dont go left! PX always feels nice at impact, but way stiffer feel and hits the ball higher vs DG. DG X100 has always required 90 degree weather and an hour warm up, so that has never worked either

    A question: The dynamic golf s300 is supposed to be 130 grams, but the s300 105 is 105 grams. Is that correct?

    Question. I have been fit into DG x100s most of the time. I tend to be an aggressive swinger who needs to keep ball flight down. Am I missing it? Based on this video, should I look at PX 6.5?

    • @TrueTemperGolf
      @TrueTemperGolf  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      In the end, it all comes down to personal preference! That's the most important part of the a fitting and what makes fitting so personal. Just because the profile of PX better suits an aggressive swinger doesn't mean you have to play it over DG if you are an aggressive swinger. If you are enjoying your X100s, I wouldn't look into it, but if you feel they get a bit lose for you, maybe take a look at PX to see what you think! Two shafts that feel very different throughout the swing. Usually a player that likes one, from a feel perspective, doesn't really like the other.

      I also like the dg x100s and have played both shafts. Setting how they feel aside, they do play a little bit different. The dg tends to launch low and spin more creating shots that start low, rise up and then fall. The project x will tend to launch high but spin less in my experience. If you want to keep the ball flight down I’d stay with dg. I wouldn’t change unless you just don’t like feeling the shaft bend and kick throughout your swing.

    That graph Y axis mark no sense. How can PX be stif stiff and stiff when the line changes position?

    • @eric1020
      @eric1020 28 วันที่ผ่านมา

      It's relative to the fact that every shaft will get less stiff as it tapers to the tip.

      Can't stand it when people speak so fast like that in an *entirely* too *short* 2-minute video from the manufacturer that contains extremely important information for us trying to decide!
      Because this young guy works at the manufacturer doesn't mean he should speak as fast as possible just to get things over with..
      I had a math teacher like that and God was she awful!
      running through info @ 100 mph like we were all supposed to instantly comprehend and know the material immediately just as well as a lifelong mathematics teacher....smh😏
