i recorded this video on 18/02/18. By that date my BLACK STALLION has done 3200-3300 kms (between 1st and 2nd service)

I am getting 40-46 on highway , 32-37 in city on my desert storm classic 500cc bs4 . My crusing speed is 50-60kmph
My driving pattern
1st gear :- 0 - 15kmph
2nd gear :- 15 -30kmph
3rd gear. :- 30 - 40kmph
4th gear :- 40 - 55kmph
5th gear. :-. Above 55kmph

As for my Pegasus, I don’t regard it as a war-machine! Neither were my other Enfields! PS: India has got it so right with the latest bikes 😎
I also drive my Royal Enfield Bullet- 500 between 225 to 240 kms per 5 litre of fuel at highway and 160 to 175 in rural area...
My Activa 125 is giving 30km/L Classic 500 will be confortable for me

Hi I have TB 500, and I get 45 on highway and 30 to 35 in City.
Mostly it depends on Rider and maintenance.
If you ride properly without unnecessary raving and breaking, and using gear and clutch properly you will get very good milage.

Hey.i bought a new one.just wanted to clarify one thing.when i turn on key, MIL indicator is yellow and remains that way until ignition switch is pressed after which it turns off..is this same on your bike too? thanks

Yeah, it’s so close to O2 sensor. RE employees helped me out to install that rod shaped guard 😊
Cool Dude !! But Don't try to start the bike without fuel if it's not starting..! It can Damage your Injector ! & i think it will give more Mileage after few Servicing!

TO maintain matte i never apply any kind of foam/shampoo/polish. wash it with plain water only once in a week, keep it covered while nights, and whenever i uncover it, i remove all the dust partcials with clean/dry cotton cloth ONLY :)

U should have checked it again by filing another one litre of oil. Almost impossible to give 43 kms per litre mileage. Even the company says it should be around 30 maximum

bhai when does the fuel indicator blink..while your are riding with empty fuel it is not blinking....does it blink when the fuel tank is full....???
Aisa nahi hai bhai, fuel indicator starts to blink when 3-4 litres petrol remain inside fuel tank. Last 1-2 litre me fuel indicator constantly on rehta hai. Video dikh nhi rha hoga due to daylight. But its fact

I doubt in this video.. because I also own stealth black 500 and she never gives mileage above 30 in city and one of the reasons I doubt this video is that its fuel indicator’s light should be on because in it can store upto 2.5 litre in reserve mode and the light is off in this video

I too own classic 500 stealth black.... i never get mileage more than 25-27 in city..... P.S-i have custom sportster exhaust fitted on it..

I am planning to buy a RE and decided either gun metal grey or stealth black. I like stealth black more than gunmetal, but thinking of mileage issue in the daily use. I am really confused. Pls give an advice.
Depends on ur mode of daily commute roads, if u use to roam on highways than 500 could be the choice, and if you gonna ride it in city, than go for 350cc becUse i have uploaded a city mileage video also,,, so Bro, if mileage is your concern, go for gun grey, because 350cc is always better in Mileage.

there is installed a fuel guage or fuel indicator whatever u call it, fuel indicator will blink with orange light when there might be remained less than 3 litres petrol.

I ride this bike in Kolkata.. And I get a mileage of around 31 km per litre in city conditions..

Do service your bike with 2500kms itself dont wait untill 3000 kms than check it mileage performance all will be changed believe me
Avoid unnecessary gear shifting and maintain 70 to 75 kmph speed and in city avoid repaid acceleration go slow to desired gear speed not to much ok enjoy your bike

Bhai jo RE claim karti hai tum usse zyada mileage kaise laa sakte ho , matlab woh Dynamo tested hota hai,toh real conditions mein average 35 kmpl se upar jaa hi ni sakta , i think RE meter caliberation is wrong it shows 1 km as 1.5kms
