I managed to get 44 km/l today, i had converted the fuel injection system to a carburettor one yesterday. Took milage test with milage bottle and it was 25 on rough slow ride and 44 on 60km/hr smooth nonstop ride
How to much for the conversion

Once i did a 52 kmpl ride on my CL500 ..no high rpms, no engine breaking, minimal breaking n 70-75kmph cruising speed.
Yes thats possible but not practical. In my general city riding style n conditions the bike gives 24-27kmpl

Like really?! I have the same model and colour as yours but I didn't really ever measure the milage of my bike but I used to say it gives around 25 in the cities and 30-32 on the highways. But what I saw here is something really different. P.S- I have the stock silencer.
Sometimes I ride it till 100 that does affect the milage right?

42 km per liter? Does it depend on silencer too? Will milage drop if Free Flow silencer like indori is used? Will milage won't drop also thumb if wool filter silencer is used?

Nothing to be surprised he rode classic 500 on hwy and under speed of 70-80km/h which matters a lot in terms of air friction.

Aren't you suppose to let the bike idle with the new exhaust atleast for 5-8 minutes, so that ecu can self recalibrate, map itself to the new exhaust?

I was in delemma whether changing my stock one to indori will ever do justice on mileage on my standard 350 which was showing 52kmpl and after changing it is returning me around 49-50. So, yours is 500 and damn man! It returned you 42! Then now I should consider buying a Bullet 500.😱😁😁

Buddy, which is more fun to ride and value for money between bullet 500 and classic 500. Both these bikes have EFI
Classic 500 ofcourse.
Only thing is that EFI and TPS has to be taken care of.
Always keep 3 - 4 litres in the tank.
BULLET 500 has carburetor.
Classic has more retro look with saddle spring seat and single seat option.It also makes power than Bullet 500

I also have classic 500 (BS 3) and i get around 25 kmpl and sometime 27 kmpl in city and 31 kmpl in highway in stock exhaust,i never changed or not even tried any other custom exhaust.
May be your bike is not well maintained

Average is 25 to 28 in cities. Unless you switch off on slope. On Highway with correct tyre pressure (32/28) Single rider early morning iI clocked 45 kmpl.

no. i saved a little bit of fuel from the first bottle . I said it in the video too i think , it was probably just 10ml over hahah

Now I'll never ask ever :what will be the effect on mileage if I go for after market exhaust. But one request bro..... I saw you used separate audio recording. I am struggling to get this thing work. I mean how sync the audio how they are so perfectly synced that I thought you use external mic with action cam. Please make video on this because I know you your vlog will clear my knowledge about this as well. I have SJ cam 5000x so no external mic option. Please guide. Like how you sync what devices you use. Your fuel injectors could possibly pull impurities and dirt in furl tank to spray injectors thats why always put adequate petrol in an fi engine

Initially while going to Bombay, my Classic 500cc gave 54km/pl. But 700km of total trip riding in Bombay city and getting back again,it gave me 44km/pl whole trip.
