Still so nice to see someone making those very informational videos about the 9n3 gti. Keep going!👍🏻 i already learned alot about my GTI because of those Videos.
It you use a sparco 150 filter directly connet with the original air Hole attack on the original front bumper , you can use "effetto venturi" for improve air velocity .So you Will arrive to improve hp until 3 or 4%.👍
Hey, I was just wandering I have a seat Ibiza Cupra with a 1.8T engine. I was thinking about removing this but with my forge recirc valve I have used a rubber end cap to block it off and also one to block off the other side of the vacuum pipe which connects to the box. What could I do to remove it and keep it blocked off? Would I just have to block off the inlet nipple?
Thank you for this beautiful video... but I admit that I have been looking for months... I removed the N249 and I put 2 x 330ohm/10w resistor under the intake manifold and connected the DValve hose under the manifold and I want to remove the N112 and on the secondary air pump power socket I must also put a resistor or not? because then I would find myself with 3 resistors in total and all the removal kits only have 2 x resistors in total... I am lost... I put a 330/10 resistor to try on the pump and I failed P0411and P1297...thank you very much
@@CarsandEngineering Thanks for doing the video - are you throwing any fault codes with the resistors in place that you had to clear? I am really thinking of doing this and the SAI delete.
I’m not throwing codes for the N249 or the N112 with the resistors in place, but it is throwing a code for the SAI that one will need to be mapped out by a tuner I’m afraid 👍🏻
@@CarsandEngineering Thanks for your answer! I’ll probably wait for your SAI delete video before do it together. Still worried about screwing up the car since I’m Not the really a mechanic guy
You could just block it off with something? I’m not too sure if it’ll all work properly still though, I don’t see why blocking it off wouldn’t work. I hope this helps 👍🏻
Hi I been following all your videos to help me around my polo gti. I have a boost issue it builds boost but ends at 2500rpm. What to do? Where to look?
Hey mate, it sounds like a boost control issue which would be the n75 it’s on the turbo intake pipe just after the mass airflow sensor, they are common things to go wrong on these. The best thing to do is check the car for any stores codes/engine lights see what pops up and go from there 👍🏻
As far as I am aware I have not lost any boost. I was going to get the car booked in for a rolling road session to see how much power it has so that might show any loss in boost.
Less stuff to go wrong with the engine itself, all of the stuff removed isn’t needed for the car to run it’s just extra emissions stuff and legislation based components. It also looks better 👍🏻
Dude look in the video description all the details are there and even a link to the right resistor is there too www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2W-Power-Metal-Film-Resistor-1-Tolerance-1-Ohm-1M-Ohm/252024737412?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&var=550885059205&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&mkrid=710-53481-19255-0&siteid=3&mkcid=1&campid=5338680676&toolid=10001&customid&mkevt=1

Thank you mate, plenty more on the way 🚗👍🏻
Just about to buy an 08 gti polo, will be subscribing thanks for great info and tutor, this is fantastic for me. Thx.
You’re very welcome! Hope you enjoy the car! 👍🏻
Legend! Can't wait to see the SAI delete video.
Itll be out next Sunday at 17:30 GMT!

You have to get the secondary air pump mapped out by a tuner its not able to be removed via a resistor
Why did VW put in such a complicated setup when they could have just put in one vacuum line to the DV?
I really don’t know mate, it’ll probably be something to do with the emissions of the vehicle there’s a lot red tape I’d imagine 😂

Is it for track car set up or also applicable for daily drive? Do I need to change the stock valve for this set up?
No this can be done for road or track reasons, you can also do it with the stock valve if needs be 👍🏻

The SAI delete will be next Sunday at 17:30 GMT 👍🏻
What if I only wanted to delete the res and hoses but not the Sai, what would I do with the line you cut
You could just block it off with something? I’m not too sure if it’ll all work properly still though, I don’t see why blocking it off wouldn’t work.
I hope this helps 👍🏻
so the the air pipe you cut just stays hanging like that???
More or less yeah
Hi
2W resistor is enough? In other descriptions use 10w 330ohm. thanks
Yeah 2W is plenty for this delete mate 👍🏻

Limp mode
did u lose boost after delete even with the resistors? i have the clip on bought it on urotuning and loss boost after the delete

Hi have u got the part 2 to this to delete the next thing???
It’ll be out this Sunday at 17:30 GMT mate 👍🏻
How do I make the resistors??
th-cam.com/video/cjH6yl2HjEo/w-d-xo.html
Here’s the video where I make them mate along with the parts list
Do you know where i can buy the resistors from?
There is a link down in the video description that should work for you 👍🏻
And what exactly is the profit from doing this?

It also looks better 👍🏻
@@CarsandEngineering if u do this now here in Germany my car will be taken away 😂
Yeah it’s all TÜV approval out there isn’t it ?
@@CarsandEngineering yea. This is a Reale pain for us tuners 😭
What is the ohm?
For the resistor
Its in the description of the video with links too.
330ohm resistor is needed I hope this helps
330 ohm and watt?

I’m still getting p0010 and p0444? Any help
have you installed them correctly? Ive had mine fitted now for like 2 + years and never seen a code ?
@@CarsandEngineeringam I gonna see any codes if I do this delete and the sai delete? With the resistors in place
@@elliottb8145N249 won’t show a code if you have a resister on it. The SAI will show a code that needs a tune to remove it
