This is your best video yet! As an avid boater who's boat gets splashed in 2 long months, I cruise vicariously through your videos. Please keep them coming!
Y'all crack me up. Mooring balls and cart wheels. Love the videos Cyndi and Sheldon. Thanks for sharing. Still cold up here in the Northwest. I am still set on getting a Tolly in 4-5 years and doing the same as you are. Keep on cruising! You will never look back on your life and wish you spent more time at work.
Enjoyed the video, but would like to see more elaboration on the provisioning planning and reasoning behind some of the choices you make as you go. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Ryan. Without currents getting in the way, at 8 knots, (our normal cruise speed) we get 3.0 gph combined fuel burn. at 18-19 knots, (the sweet spot when on plane) she burns 23 gph. This is with two Cat 3208TA diesel engines.
im curious. there were quite a few multi million dollar yachts in the background but you didn't really show them in the video. it's your video and im just a guest here but any reason as to why?
Its not that we don't like the beachfront homes or the expensive yachts, its just that when trying to make a video you have to cut something. Also we don't hold these kinds of things at a really high value. Life for us is more about the freedom, the adventure, and the simplicity. Extravagance usually takes away from those values.
It is a Newfoundland saying (we are originally from Newfoundland Canada). The saying is "Long may your big jib draw". It means, hope you have wind in your sails. :D Cheers!
We lived in St Aug for 7 years in 70s. Adored it
You’re living the life that we’re trying to live. Great videos
