The 2025 refresh of the 3 series and 4 series was a cost cutting exercise disguised as an LCI. They replaced the leather stitched airbag cover on the steering wheel with plastic, replaced the dashboard-wide ambient light with a much smaller light inside the air vent, got rid of the dashboard-wide aluminum trim border, and on the i4 replaced 2 years unlimited EA charging with a 1000 kwh limit. I factory ordered a 2025 i4 (waiting for delivery now), and am still very happy with the decision, but for someone not getting the M Sport package like me, the only advantage the 2025 model has over the 2024 is the augmented reality video feed (some people might like the new steering wheels, I'd rather have the round 2024 one, and M Sport purchasers will probably like the new laser taillights). I don't really blame BMW- in the case of the i4 in particular, Tesla is putting massive price pressure on the market, and trying very hard to keep costs down to compete with them is probably the right move. But I'm under no delusions that the 2025 models are an improvement over the 2024s. I just hope there aren't any hidden cost cutting measures on the mechanical side.
This could be a good series showing people the changes for each model. How about the X1? Any changes to that? Companies tend to add options as included at the same price to bury changes/advantages.

Steering wheel and plastic center was present in 2024 as well like plastic seat adjustment, not related to 2025
@@davidzvezdahow about the lack of perforated/ ventilated front seats and heated rear seats on the 3 series?
@@n52gremlin15 m3 has ventilated seats but not available on g20 i think from the introduction
The EA charging limit is for what market?

That new steering wheel is hideous.
Agree
I’m still in love with my 2021 330 Mpackage… not a fan of the 2025 inside 😔🤢
Same
Might be just me but I prefer the 2024, without the dinky air vent controls and overcooked steering wheel of the 2025.
It just keeps getting worse and worse what is that Toyota Prius looking steering wheel?!?!? is this even BMW???
Prius never had a 2 spoke wheel. More like a ford excursion or Mercedes s class.
Okay Brian😂 it is NOT that bad, you need a nap
The base steering wheel is horrendous gotta get the sport for the sport steering wheel
@@chikmnungetyeah immediately😂
Comedown drama queen
It’s crazy that the 2025 stopped offering both perforated front seats and heated rear seats for the 3 series.
🔥🔥🔥 NEW WHEELS!!
Not a fan of the steering wheel without the m sort package steering wheel. The X line 2024 has a better steering wheel in my opinion!
The steering is a bit strange
Can you do this video but with the M340i as I will be purchasing one next year thank you 🇬🇧👍🇬🇧👍
We did one already. It's on the channel

Good idea
not the same engine brotha, 2025 has port injection and direct fuel injection
Is it also a mild hybrid?
Same engine nothing changed even the purple mild cable is not there
@@pinchofgold5 it does have port injection that is a difference hints the better mpg on the 2025.
I’d take the 24 without question. Nicer wheel designs and it doesn’t have that fugly steering wheel.
Oh Bmw, how far you have fallen
Compared to what?
Two spokes wheel is just wrong in a bmw…. Besides, those here are just hideous
As mentioned above, another guy points to cost cutting, so a 2 spoke wheel over a three spoke maybe saves BMW $10, which equals profits.
@@-Derp- yeah, I am out then. Not a brand for me anymore
Where is the heated steering wheel button?!
maybe the car did not have the option installed
You have to fiddle with the touchscreen now. Apparently BMW thinks this is progress.
Wow people will hate everything 😂
I have the 2023 330i and its’ not much change from that one…steering wheel is no bueno
M sport only please
prefer 2024 3 spoke steering ….
2025 2 spoke steering ugly …
