This car is much improved - struggling with BMWs new lights but more because Angles are so iconic as opposed to the new look being bad. Otherwise this is a winner for me

the front really looks like Ford Focus
and the rear look like Honda Civic
First Mercedes did the weird looking egg-shaped cars and now BMW. What a shame. German car manufacturers once had some beautiful cars. Looks like a Mazda 3 from the back

Haha exactly I felt x3 has worse interior than this almost similar plastic we can forgive a car in 35-40k price point with this car . But damn the seats are sexy in this m model . X3 I will never forget the new one it’s such a disappointment

Seats are awesome. They feel luxurious than the new plastic ones in the x3 . But overall a very good product for the price . Looks sporty. I have no problem with this car being 35-40k usd have good seats and sporty looks and interior is perfect. but for a 70k car to have worse interior and plastics in a x3 is a concern

why did they decide to employ the DCT in this model? not complaining but why does an economy model get the cooler transmission
Because it's the same gearbox as in all the front-wheel drive BMWs
Just because it’s DCT it’s not cooler . It’s weird dct just like Hyundai dct on their cheap models .

It will be interesting to see this in the “flesh” as it were, l have to respectfully disagree with you on the quad exhausts, l think it looks better, my daughter has just ordered the X2 M35i which as you know, has Quad exhausts.
I have a new M8 completion grand coupe in the Brooklyn Grey with orange interior and it’s a good combination. (Of course I don’t have the curved screen) I like being able to operate a physical switch, rather than fumble around with different programs …. Many top brands still have switches!

Ok it does look like a KIA, but honestly I quite like it, not sure I can get onboard however with the big M2 and big M1 on the M235 and M135. Also please manufacturers stop adding the car number to the pillars looks awful.

It's unbelievable that things have gotten even worse compared to the previous model. The market for these cars is mainly Europe, especially Germany. Nobody wants a car that looks like Japanese models (no hate), but this has no BMW DNA at all. What does the design team do when they know that the last model wasn't popular either 🤦🏻♂️
They started with series 4 and its grill.. then people use to “grow in them” (but not, something beauty is beautiful since the first moment), then they fucked m3, m4, m2, the suvs, series 5, eliminates x4, introduce the x1 and x2 (they are horrendous) and now this… design leader has to hate BMW.
X5/6 and 8 series are actually the last good looking ones…
