Nice. I have a 24 Brooklyn gray (stealth PPFd) and I also frequent Hendricks North Lake. Mine is fully option with carbon buckets and I tried to order with them over the summer but they told me 18 month wait time for the carbon package. I found one lightly used and love it. The North Lake folks are cool too. I'll be glad when the construction is over.

You must have the patience of a saint... sounds like there's a story here cos if you ordered it in 2023 and you ended up with the LCI which didn't go into production until Q3 this year 2024, I'm sure there's something to that! I have to wait 8 weeks for mine to arrive and even that is killing me! Ordered mine in Grigio Telesto so quite similar to this, black wheels, carbon roof, although I wish I'd gone for the Vernasca accented seats as it looks amazing there. I'll just keep druelling over this whilst I wait for mine to arrive!

The hard part is when I sold my M2 comp and had nothing to drive for a couple of months. I was very happy when the dealer told me my car was ready for pick up. Your M2 sounds like it’s going to look amazing. The waiting part is hard. Enjoy your new car in 8 weeks.

I just went through a little wobble as I bought a black M4 Convertible Competition back in 2018... and at the time I saw some pictures of a M4 in Grigio which I absolutely fell in love with, but I couldn't get that colour so I settled for black. So I thought I'd just finally ordered that Grigio colour on my M2... only to now realise that the colour I previously saw was "Grigio Medio" not "Grigio Telesto" haha but tbh the new 2025 individual colours are a bit much, the green/blue/yellows are too ostentatious, nice to look at but I think 3-4 years of living with a colour like that will get a bit much. I like knowing that I've ordered one that not many people will have. And the grey on black wheels has a proper level of class to it. Must admit, the Brooklyn Grey does look outstanding on black wheels... absolutely beautiful.

I agree with you. Very controversial styling, but in person it’s stunning. Dealerships can’t keep them in stock. That says a lot about the “in person” impression the car makes on people. My 2025 Portillo Blue M2 just finished assembly. Due to me in November. Beautiful car… enjoy!!!✌️

Nope don’t regret it at all. It’s one of the many reasons I bought the M2. Some say it’s too rubbery feeling. That doesn’t bother me and I really enjoy the fun factor of shifting through the gears on M2. Thank you bmw for giving us all a choice. 👍👍

The long wait was due to 14 people ahead of me who already put in orders for an M2. It actually worked out great because this way I got a 2025, which had some of the upgrades I’m glad I got. Especially the 20 hp bump in power and flat bottom steering wheel.
@@marcgies8173 I see. I am living in Sydney Australia so I open my pano roof most cases. I heard the carbon roof may be damaged by UV easily so ppf or coating is needed.,
I just had ppf installed on front and roof of car. Also a layer of ceramic coating. Never did it to any of my other cars. Thought I would see how it works for myself.

I have 2024 m2. I strongly recommend a short shifter. I got rogue engineering. Others out there as well.

Do you miss the sunroof? In Australia we can’t opt the sunroof but carbon roof only.
I had a sunroof in my last M2 competition. No I do not miss the sunroof. I think the carbon fiber looks great.
