thank you Gundam Evolution for existing and getting me into the Gundam franchise. bought four gunpla very recently and hope to build them soon, and start watching the show as well. can't wait to dive deeper and get gunpla of all the gundams i played in Gundam Evo.
It takes more effort than you'd expect to make a lot of the mass-production units feel badass knowing their reputation is getting slaughtered, but by god do they manage.
I honestly feel sorry for the gun cannon fans because they could’ve gotten the main trio of mobile suits in this game but it’s dead before guncannon even could show up
Honestly for as much as people hated it, I think the point at which people were the most invested at was at release when Barbatos was a fun pick for a casual. But oh well, thats the issue with Hero shooters.
I disagree. I remember people actually liking the gameplay, but lack of support and marketing from Bamco, as well as their horrendous release timing, kinda was what killed the game.
@@crimsonsnow4465Yeah, the gameplay was great. Waiting half an hour to get into a match on both PC and Xbox was miserable, and the economy/unlockables were a complete mess.
Yee i couldnt capture those in HD as theyre inaccessible, and as name suggests, surprise. Sry. Someone else compiled them. Buuut i do have ONE in my channel lol th-cam.com/video/SCWD88Qh-NQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=iA3dqevwgblhhZ7v
TL;DR a ton of things that made it really obnoxious to play, slog to progress and not a lot of rewards. It didn't get a ton of exposure as it should. it felt unfinished/lacked content. progress was connect with dailies/weeklies that were obnoxious, time gated and was pretty obvious a way to get people to buy items to progress faster. Season Pass was expensive, time consuming, and the rewards sucked. 90% of the cosmetics were boring pallet swaps or just bad. The most expensive cosmetics you could either buy or got from season passes were butt ugly. Game balance and map design was meh, especially for competitive. A lot of bugs, especially when trying to connect to a game. If someone disconnected, I don't think there was a way to reconnect or have someone else fill the spot, so you got unbalanced teams. It was really hard to play with friends due to match making. And if I remember correctly, private games were extremely barebones.
The problem is that rather than just let the game be a fun shooter Bandai wanted it to be a live service hellhole. If it were just a $60 release with a steady trickle of patched in units, maps, and game modes it would have a completely healthy playerbase to this day.
Curse you bandie! You make one of many soild game and then you wasted this again! Thank you all pilot that enjoy the game should be long live than Battle Station 2 now
loved me Gundam's but this game was embarrassing unbalanced and lame. Good graphic and gameplay nonetheless. I would go dominate for almost 100 kills a game and it feels absurd and unfair to others who doesnt possess my kind of skillset. I always spawn camp them without much effort. Just no. Worse than overwatch and i hate overwatch.

Real shame we never got a single G Gundam suit before the game died

No it isn’t. G gundam is cringe.
@@kuailiang6312 Wrong, G Gundam is fucking awesome
@@kuailiang6312You poor child, one day you will understand the glory of Tequila Gundam.

The Guntank ones are unnecessarily badass lmao
The amount of Gm/Zaku 2 warcrimes are immeasurable :D
The entire Mecha genre is nothing without the warcrimes
I play Gundam Evolution every night, now I miss it

To Be Honest I Love Most Is RX 78-2 And Nu Gundam Those Victory Pose And Selection Still Best Shot View Though
Okay I kind of forgot that Amaro Ray EARNED his moniker of "White Devil" dude did not play around. Those poor (not really) Zaku pilots
If some modders ripped off those MS models and made a legit FPS or any videogame I'd love to advocate piracy
All the modele were ripped
@@USminecrafting101 All they need to do is make a better game than that abomination then
Why did this game die so fast? It was an awesome concept
Why do modern gundam games in general have such a short lifespan?

This game died but GBO2 lives.

Bandi sucks at marketing, and digimon fans suffer it the most.
I do want the game to get a second chance

If you look closely you can actually see the camera lens of soms of MS' when they turn on. (Heavy arms and Dynamis are a good example)
