As a geologist we can conclude that the reactivation of these fault lines causing the major tremors in this region, particularly the non-uniform velocity of the Indian plate along the boundary of indo gangetic planes and the outer most himalaya.

Amit sir, we've learned that only the trans Himalayas are a result of Tethys sea's crust upliftment (and not the Himalayas). But what I understood from this video, is, that the whole of Himalayas as well as the trans Himalayas are a result of tethys sea's crust upliftment.
