Bahaha yea, I felt they'd give a better visual on how NOT to do things, and make it stay in the head of the viewer for longer :P Also, I did it to show that I'm not perfect either. We all make mistakes sometimes! I like to laugh at my mistakes, too. :)
This is legit THE video I was looking for. I loved how you explained ANY of her counters... seems like the small channels care more about their viewers than the big channel which is pretty good. You got my sub I expect alot from you. Thanks for that AMAZING guide, and good like as you're growing up:)
Even though this is a tutorial geared toward PC play, I still found useful tips and info even after 30+ hours of competitive tracer play. Great video, man. Thanks a lot.
+Aram Thaggard a lot of the aiming and mechanical tips can be used across platforms, when it comes to practice at least! Glad that this was able to help you out though (:
+Emily Jane ^_^ This video required the most time so far because of all the editing I had to do! Not to mention, actually gather all the footage for every situation that I wanted to talk about XD I'm glad you found it helpful!
Thanks for the tips. I'm going to get a PS4 and Overwatch soon, and I want to be able to master Tracer. I watched other videos, so of course, this one had some repeat tips, but your video also showed me some new tips I could use. Thank you again.
Yooooo, you're a badass Tracer, you're just loading a single clip in them and they die, usually takes two or three clips to kill them. 😅. But anyways awesome guide, it'll help when I play her.
One thing I would add, don't Bomb on Zarya if you didn't see her use her personnal Shield yet. Even tho the shield only absorb 200 damage, it always absorb a single hit fully, so she won't take any real damage from it. It also works on saving her teammates, but since the shield only last 2sec, it's significatly harder for her to get the timing right to absorb the explosion.
Yes, this is true! It's the same for D.Va's defense matrix as well. She can actually eat it up if she catches it before it goes off :x Had that happen to me a few times....feelsbad. But yea, good to know that Zarya's bubble takes over 200 damage in 1 hit!
+Дмитрий Мельников Hey man, thank you for the support! I'm very glad you found this video really helpful! Hope you are able to put some of the tips to use during release. Let me know if you improve :)
Thank you +Ethan Krase ! Though this one was a little early on and new heroes have been added, I'm glad it has helped you out :) Let me know if you have any questions in regards to anything new since this guide!
Dang it, I wish I found your channel during Open Beta, but at least I will be ready for the actual launch. Your guide deserves a lot more credit and they are much more intuitive and helpful compared to other guides I've watch. Pleaseeee keep on making more vids.
+Kenny Tran Thanks for the support man! And yea, I try to make my guides as easily understandable as they can, and make it so that people can more easily put the tips and strategies to use. She's honestly not too complicated, but just has a WIDE variety of situations that she has to react to, as her health pool is super small. Once you spot these situations and remember how to react, she's pretty intuitive :) Oh and reflexes are important, too xD I will definitely make more guides. However, they take the longest to gather footage! But, for sure, they will come though :) Cheers!
Great guide! I main Tracer and I have found that the only class that I really have any trouble with is Torbjorn with his turret up. I tend to avoid him unless I have a bomb ready. Every other class I can just run circles around.
Ahh yes, Torb is really tough to deal with if he has a level 2 turret up already and waiting for you. I usually avoid him as well unless I can poke at the turret around the corner that's close enough so that I can actually take it out. Seems like you have the strat down though, good thinking with the ultimate! And yes, be annoying against the other heroes. BZZZZT >:D
Glad you were able to finally find the video you wanted Tomyum :D! And in regards to heroes and maps, I'll see if I can add that to the list of requested videos :) Been trying to work on more guide-related videos lately!
I got 7h on Tracer and this is the first 'advanced' guide that acually helped me because there were some things I didnt know. Thanks. Also Im on console so aiming is a bit worse and takes longer. But I think I got a decent aim. I dont know how good I am. I dont wanna advertise myself but please watch some of my footage and give me feedback what I could have done better (not likes or some shit, comments) so yeah thanks again
+220xprowler Of course! :) I tried to get as much footage for each situation as possible, but of course that's pretty difficult if you don't run into that certain hero for a while. Not only that, you actually have to be successful in doing what you're explaining as well (I failed a couple of times XD) But yea, I'm glad you noticed that though! Your verbal support is very much appreciated!
Nice guide ! Tracer is my favorite character. Overwatch is my 1st FPS, so I'm not that good atm. I really liked this guide, there are some good tips to know ! Thank you for this video !
Noticed that haha. Aiming head with a mobile hero sure is difficult. By the way, do you have any tips against Widowmaker ? Plus Tracer aside, do you know how to counter the combo Bastion + Torbjorn ? I'm also playing Genji, so Bastion is quite easy, but Torbjorn is a pain in the ass
Yea, her mobility makes it hard to aim at times, but with practice, it'll come naturally :) And against Widowmaker, I'd say that you have to know her location at first, and then figure out where she has eyes on. Blink across those gaps to close in on her, and then when you're close enough, you should try to surprise her. A good Widowmaker that's expecting you can still kill you if she's looking down the right angle, so it's tough honestly. Being unpredictable is all I can really say, she's a tough one to deal with if competent. Now for Bastion + Torbjorn, you have to do the same thing for Widow pretty much. Avoid their line of sight by blinking through gaps, and try to get behind the Bastion and aim for his blue spot (head shot area). However, if there's a Torb with him, that's not something you really want to deal with. You'd usually be ok going against one of them at a time, but both, the only thing you can really do is use your ultimate on them I would say =\ Remember that Tracer can't deal with everything, and you might have to switch out at that point if the area is locked down hard. Needless to say, turrets (by Torb and Symmetra) destroy Genji, so yea, you kinda want to avoid them. Hope this helps!
YES. This is very important to know! A lot of my videos usually revolve around one hero, but in reality, you want to be changing back and forth depending on what you see! It's good that you know this :)
Thanks Payton! Feel free to check this one out that I recently released, where I go in depth in my decision making and gameplay style: th-cam.com/video/0zhqxWLVFQ0/w-d-xo.html Cheers! :)
Very interesting Tracer tips! This is my favourite heroe by far but I found her very difficult to play. I think this video will help me out improve! Cheers! ^^
+OverwatchTV Yea, Tracer is my favorite hero, too, even if she is difficult! I hope these tips help, even a little :) If you need anything cleared up, just let me know! Thanks!
swag I would be alright with playing with you if I'm not playing with any of my friends :) Maybe I'll just do a day where I play comp with only viewers, but we will see ;) I am currently rank 65/66 around there, and my highest was 69.
Abduh Abdat the funny thing about that is trying to steal health packs when ur on full health. that's especially common if you get in the habit of rewinding after taking initial damage.
Fantastic guides, instantly subscriped. Wierd these aren't in the top when searching for tracer guides/tips. :O If I may ask a random question, what are your thoughts on picking tracer rather than genji, for a team comp? :)
Thanks +alexander westi Astrup Probably because I'm not much of a big youtuber quite yet, or at least not well known ^_^ But that's fine honestly :) As for Tracer vs Genji, I feel that there are some heroes that Genji and Tracer are good against, separately. Aka Genji vs Bastion/Widowmaker is better, while Tracer Vs. healers/squishies is better. Genji is also good against explosives, while Tracer is not. So, it really depends on the enemy team composition :)
Was some nice tips in this. Didn't think to rebind blink to right click. Might hafta try that in open beta. Also, I had no idea you could just hold E to recall after being stunned instead of spamming. Another thing, in regards to taking on tanks like Reinhardt, try to look at their health bar and recognize whether they currently have their armor or not. Makes a big difference in whether you can take them out quickly or not. Armor cancels out 5 damage from each "damage event" if that even does more than 10 damage. It HALVES any damage event that does less than 10. Because Tracer does "chip" damage, as her bullets do little damage individually (1.5 - 6), armor will negate HALF your damage, whereas only reducing something like a full-charge Widow bodyshot from 150 to 145 damage. So it might not be worth it in some cases to fight a full-health Reinhardt straight-up close-range, whereas a half health Rein would be a much more favorable fight.
+ZiNiKiL Productions Yea apparently some people say it's already bound to both shift AND right click, but I'm not sure? I remember it not being that way when I first got beta, but o well hehe Yea for Reinhardt I said that if he's low, you can blink behind him to annoy/deal damage. If he's full life though, that's something you'd want others to deal with before you pick at him. Good explanation on armor though, I didn't know that much detail about it till now! :)
+Exlemic Thanks man! I have been posting full games, if you want to check them out! I've recently uploaded a Zenyatta 3-round KOTH game actually, and will be posting more when I can :)
Dibz It did! I actually came to this channel through your interview on Overwatch Central. I "main" Soldier and Tracer, with some Bastion and Roadhog thrown in. It's awesome to watch guys like you play, and I learned some pointers in your video that I haven't seen anywhere else! Keep it up!
Boom Boom I saw a forum and ppl were saying “you must be blind if u get stuck in the trap” like?? Since when do people stare at the floor while playing overwatch?
Do you plan on doing a guide for D.VA? I've been wanting to get really good with her since I got the game a couple days ago, and I really liked your Tracer guide as I want her to be my 2nd main in case someone else takes D.VA
+DJ "Kurai" Valentine I actually don't think I'll make one for D.Va anytime soon, as my play time on her is pretty low right now, compared to the other tanks in the game. If I do find myself playing her more often, then I'll do one! Right now though, I find myself playing Zarya a lot, so if anything, the next tank guide would probably be on her! I don't want to make any promises on a D.Va guide, if I honestly don't think I'll make one soon. My apologies!
Oh it's completely fine. I understand. I can always look for other D.VA guides to get better with, and i'll look to your guides for the good characters because you really know how to use them. Your Tracer guide helped me not look like an idiot online.
yep good tracer guide one of the best ive seen. even tho i dont need it cause i learn all this on my own. My friend tells me my tracer is really good and his rank 4006 in second season this is coming from him so yea. but great video, i still look up vids to see if i can learn anything that's how u stay good right?
Thanks +Ryan NightKit ! Glad you enjoyed the guide ;) And yes, looking at different videos to increase your knowledge is always a good way to get better!
+Linkyboy Yes, I already mentioned this in one of the comments below, but I guess I'll go over it again. When I first got into BETA in November last year, I specifically remember having to rebind it to my right click because my RMB was empty. Since then, I've never had to reset my settings or rebind because I never had to download a fresh version, if you know what I mean. I think they decided to implement that and make it right click and shift as a default between now and then, or my hotkeys might have been messed up. But yea, I never knew if this was the case because I couldn't really test it unless I uninstalled the client and reinstalled it again, which I didn't, and that is why I mentioned it just to be safe. Thanks for pointing it out though.
+JosSerrano Thanks man! I'm going to try to do this with all the heroes once the game releases, and once I get a good feel for each and every one of them! So keep an eye out ;)
Fantastic video, way more helpful than others on the subject! Do you have any tips on how to put the R bomb on the enemy? Most of the time i fail to stick it to them, don't know if because i'm too close, or the time that need to reach or anything else >.
+DVDio Thank you :) I would honestly say that the only way to do better with it is with practice. What I would suggest is to go into the training course and go to the area where there are bots moving. Build up your ult there, and try to blink once, twice, then three times in and stick it on one from a distance, from different directions. That helped me a lot, and it's good to warm up with anyway. I'm sorry to say there isn't really a trick to it, but just muscle memory and practice! I tend to miss some of my sticks too, which never feels great :( One thing that can help you though is knowing the distance of your blink. If you do what I mentioned above, you'll be not only more accurate with your ultimate throws, but knowing the distance of blink is important too, as said in the tutorial. If you have a really good idea of where you will be when you blink, you'll have less error when throwing your sticky. The best thing you can do is blink right on top or in front of your target, so you don't really have to aim, but of course this is all practice. I don't have the exact distance memorized, but I can say that I can get pretty close to the target, and it's SO so much easier. However, if you don't have the exact distance of blink down yet though, one tip that I can give is to make sure to reassess and adjust your aim for a split second right after you blink, instead of automatically throwing it right when you blink. I noticed that when I first started out, I'd literally just blink and throw it, hoping that I'd get someone xD but if you wait literally half a second or so, it gives you a chance to actually see how high you have to lob it and if you have to adjust your aim. If you have good enough reactions, giving a second to re-aim would help a lot. Honestly, though, the best thing you can do is just practice in the training range :) Hope this helps!
+James Moore I honestly do the same, but one thing you can do is to never engage him from the front. Always try to get him from the side or back, and make him do a ton of 360s. This also means that you have to kill him pretty quick, since you only have 3 blinks to dodge 3 shots. If you run out of blinks, you're pretty much dead :x
Great stuff I've been playing Tracer non-stop as the game has come out. Now I wanna ask does anyone know if recall still works during a flashbomb/hook? I don't recall it working that way in the release (as I didn't play the beta). If it does that may certainly save me some cheap deaths in the future. Great vid either way, love how in depth the information is!
Haha "I don't RECALL it working that way in the release" ;) Anyway, no, you can't recall while flashed, hooked, OR TRAPPED (Junkrat traps). So, you should either hold down E to recall once the duration of the stun/hook/trap is gone, or spam blink away. If you hold down E after being stuck in a trap, you should regain your health back that you lost by stepping in it.
Interesting that you didn't mention Soldier 76 as a counter. With high burst damage (Helix Rockets) and solid healing with Biotic Field, you'd be a little nuts to take a Soldier head on as Tracer. It can be done, for sure, but it's a difficult fight. Good guide though man, keep it up.
Well, I honestly think that Soldier 76 is on equal grounds with Tracer. It can honestly go either way, especially if you can bait the Soldier to use his rockets and blink away from it before it hits you. I do agree though, that it will pretty much kill you if it does hit you. That's why I didn't really consider him a full counter, but someone just on equal level!
There are so quick guides for characters and 95% of them are entertaining but worthless. This guide for Tracer is not one of them. Thanks for all the amazing tips and applicable strategy!
+J.A. Renau Thanks man! I really appreciate your support, as I really tried to go as deep as possible in analysis with this hero. In the future, I hope to go through all of the heroes, if time allows me to :) Cheers!
Haha JokersWyld's a cool dude :) Used to play with him a lot, but haven't had the chance to recently! Hope you found the tips helpful! Thanks for the support :)
Hey +Jordan Laney! Yes, actually! I've been experimenting with doing different types of videos lately, and am going to continue with this series! I'm actually working on one at the moment, but yea, they take a LOT longer to edit and more work to do than my other ones, which is why there's such a huge gap in each hero. But yes, I'm planning to do all the heroes! :)
Whats your best advice on blinking and reloading at the same time? I use shift to blink and I can't always hit the R at the same time (small hands). Do you use right click to blink more often than shift?
+HalfofTear yea, I actually ALWAYS use right click to blink , instead of shift. It makes it much easier to be mobile, and doesn't hinder your blinking abilities. I have a guide on aiming and doing that here: th-cam.com/video/AvF57L6ytZw/w-d-xo.html Enjoy!
Actually, if you're playing as Tracer, try to get close as you can to junkrat and just be smart about being near him, and use his own bombs against him, he can't kill you without killing himself if you're close enough, so you have a better chance of getting them to panic and giving you the upper hand
Yes, this is true in an EVEN 1v1 situation, where he knows where you're coming from. Reaper has the biggest straight out DPS in the game (including headshots)! The Tracer can get an edge if he/she is maneuverable enough, but of course that's based on the player itself. I know what you mean though, Tracers should lose to Reaper in a straight up fight. I do fine vs Reapers though, so I can't say Reaper is a total counter ;P I honestly can say, if you're dodgey enough as Tracer, you still have a chance.
+Dibz true, if you are good u can warp behind his back shoot his head, warp again do same stuff and he will most likely panic shift from the fight and u just gotta kill him off, but for plebs like us it was worth mentioning :P
For Tracer, I have 6 general in game sensitivity, 30 horizontal, 15 vertical. I also have a mouse DPI of 1000. My favorite sight to use are short crosshairs, without the blooming effect. I feel I'm the most accurate with those!
I feel like tracer's learning curve is exponentially higher than tf2's scout and has so much more potential. This makes tf2 scout look like a cakewalk.
scout runs faster and can double jump but its so much easier to track targets with him unlike tracer where you teleport super fast. And as for your question.....NO!!! D.Va is waifu.
I know exactly what you mean. Whenever I play other heroes, I always think "Damn I wish I had blink now".....And about aiming, it will get better over time as long as you play more and practice. You'll improve, trust me ;) I honestly started off with pretty bad aim! :P
so many views and so little subs. makes no sense. great player with great things to say. keep it up dibz. csgo players always have the advantage on other games ;]
Hello, ı just watched your video. İt is very handsome. But ı want to know something do you use RMB (right click) for blink? My english is bad so ı couldnt understand on the video what you have said.
+Cutest Loli You're in luck actually. I'm going to be posting a guide on improving your sticky aim tomorrow morning! (Roughly within 12 hours). Keep an eye out for that one!
+seha haha I use 6 overall in game sensitivity, 30 horizontal, and 15 vertical. This allows me to do a 180 (+ a little more) with one swipe, and is pretty much crucial when playing Tracer. You are always moving left and right, blinking all over the place, and doing 180 with one swipe is all you really need to track your target well. Also, it won't hurt your wrists either over extended use. :p
Hey! Thanks for the video! i have been playing Tracer for a while and needed to tune up my skills haha. I do have a question though! What mouse sensitivity are you at? I can't seem to find the right sensitivity to stay on target.
Yea, she takes a lot of practice, but soon enough you'll see improvement :) My sensitivity for Tracer is: Overall: 6 Horizontal: 30 Vertical: 15 MOUSE DPI: 1000
+Dibz Haha you are most definitely right about practicing. Thanks for the reply! Also, one thing that I found interesting but dangerous, is if you are firing at a player and then blink towards them while you fire, your gun continues to fire and almost acts like a shotgun. I have caught a lot of enemies by surprise like that and taken a huge chunk of health from them, mainly on tanks.
Hmmm not sure if that would make sense, because Tracer's attacks are hit scan. Meaning, if you fire at a target, no matter the distance, the bullets will hit the target instantly, just like Widow's sniper/assault rifle. If they hit the target the instant you shoot, then there really isn't this "stacking" of damage that you're referring to. HOWEVER, there is an increase in accuracy, because your target is closer to you, and more bullets are hitting the target. I think an increased accuracy is where the "huge chunk of health" is coming from, rather than the shotgun, or "stacking" effect. I'm not quite sure if that's what you meant, but anyway, yea :)
I'm pretty sure it works for all platforms, but you can test it out. Here's how: 1. Use recall 2. When your cooldown has 3 or so seconds left, start holding down recall again. 3. If you automatically recall once the CD timer reaches 0, it works. If you don't recall, then it doesn't. This is how I tested it for almost all heroes, and it does on PC at least.
Yea, Reaper can be a big counter to you if he knows where you're coming from and gets the jump on you. However, I consider him to be one that doesn't really take that much strategy to take out, because you typically should just stay medium range in my opinion. You can pick at him slowly and just blink around continuously, and that's what I do normally. Honestly though, if you're quick enough and are good with your mobility, you can easily take out a Reaper before he takes you out, so I'd say it's kind of a coinflip, really =x
Hey Marco! Ummmm I'm actually no entirely sure about this one. I haven't heard of a converter before, and I couldn't find one after some research. But if you ever do find one and need my mouse sensitivity, here it is: General: 6 Horizontal: 30 Vertical: 15 DPI:1000 Good luck! :)
The trick where you hold E just made my day. My keyboard is going to be pretty happy about the tip too!
+Shadoninja LOL No need to repaint that E on your keyboard anymore ;) hehe glad the guide helped!!
Shadoninja what was the hold E tip? I watched the video but I must of mossed it
+K. us, When you are stunned or trapped by something, hold down the E key and you will rewind the moment you are free!
K. us yea, if you push and hold E after you get stunned, it will recall as soon as you can without you having to spam it.
I like how you show the misplays in the video as you explain the mistakes you should not make as Tracer, really helpful.
Bahaha yea, I felt they'd give a better visual on how NOT to do things, and make it stay in the head of the viewer for longer :P Also, I did it to show that I'm not perfect either. We all make mistakes sometimes! I like to laugh at my mistakes, too. :)
iam not a "pro" with tracer but ~150hours gameplay with her now. whatch 7 guides. this was the first one i actually learned somethugn new
+Xeratas Really happy to hear that this guide still helped you out :) 150 hours is about as much as I have XD
This is legit THE video I was looking for. I loved how you explained ANY of her counters... seems like the small channels care more about their viewers than the big channel which is pretty good.
You got my sub I expect alot from you. Thanks for that AMAZING guide, and good like as you're growing up:)
"You got my sub I except a lot from you"
you have nothing to expect dude
I meant that I trust him to upload this good content
Thanks a lot for the support man! Thinking about working on another one soon, after finals are out of the way ;)
4 Words: Best Tutorial on Youtune
Aww haha thanks dude :) really appreciate it!
Glad that this was able to help you out though (:
nice video. you've went a bit more in-depth than other tracer videos i've seen. keep up the good work.
This is so in depth and extremely helpful , thanks so much Dibz for taking the time to make this! :D
+Emily Jane ^_^ This video required the most time so far because of all the editing I had to do! Not to mention, actually gather all the footage for every situation that I wanted to talk about XD I'm glad you found it helpful!

+Spiderninja1 Great to hear :) Good luck with the game once you get it, and try not to get addicted XD let me know how it goes for ya :D
I'm sure you'll be happy to hear that at Level 9, I've already gotten POTG with Tracer, and many more eliminations.
Yooooo, you're a badass Tracer, you're just loading a single clip in them and they die, usually takes two or three clips to kill them. 😅. But anyways awesome guide, it'll help when I play her.
+Adam Haydel Thank you! Hope you are able to put some of these tips into practice :) With more time though, I'm sure your aim will get better!
I watched a few of these tracer guides recently but no one goes as in-depth over the counters as you do. Thanks :D
:) Thank you for the feedback and comment! Glad you found it helpful :)
Very informative video, this will definitely help me out with learning Tracer once the game comes out, can't wait!! :D
+Ali Mortazavi I sure hope this helps! I can't wait either....next week can't come any sooner!!! :D
Best Tracer guide ever . Hope we can have time to chat about tracer more deep . i actually confuse about how tracer position in a game.

Probably one of the best guides I've ever watched
This channel has the most useful Overwatch vids i found on youtube recently. Tips are great and very useful.
+Дмитрий Мельников Hey man, thank you for the support! I'm very glad you found this video really helpful! Hope you are able to put some of the tips to use during release. Let me know if you improve :)
Best Tracer tutorial I've seen. GJ Dibz!
My friends used to call me the noobest of the tracers and then I carried them after I watched this vid
Very helpful
Thanks!!!!
Easily the best tracer guide I've seen and I've seen a lot lol. Subbed bro
Thank you +Ethan Krase ! Though this one was a little early on and new heroes have been added, I'm glad it has helped you out :) Let me know if you have any questions in regards to anything new since this guide!
this REALLY helped me alot as a tracer main specially about the use of sticky bombs and maps thx alot
Hey man no problem! Glad you found it helpful :) I'll probably be doing another video on how to improve Tracer aiming as well, so stay tuned for that!
Dang it, I wish I found your channel during Open Beta, but at least I will be ready for the actual launch. Your guide deserves a lot more credit and they are much more intuitive and helpful compared to other guides I've watch. Pleaseeee keep on making more vids.

I've been looking for this kind of video (dealing with counters) since started playing overwatch already!!! thanks a lot!!!
Glad you were able to finally find the video you wanted Tomyum :D! And in regards to heroes and maps, I'll see if I can add that to the list of requested videos :) Been trying to work on more guide-related videos lately!

Bro this and that description are in depth af, nice job
Would like to note the beautiful editing at 10:05! Very well done video man.
+Tyler Harris thank you! Tracer is my favorite heroes to edit clips with :)
Dibz this guide was great and gave a lot of amazing tips! Tracer is my all time fav! So I'd love to see you play more of her!
what the fuck bro. you deserve more recognition. best tracer guide out there.
+MrJules3010 Haha thanks dude :) I'm still growing so I'm happy ^_^
well make sure you keep going because you will go big if you do. :) admire your ow skills
Excellent video, crammed with info :)
Thank you! I love tracer and hopefully now I'll use her a lot more without the hassel
Just takes practice! I'm sure with time, you'll see tons of improvement :) Keep it up!
Good tutorial - better player! Subscribed
Great tips. I really want to become a good player with her.
Glad you found the guide helpful :) !
Dibs you make the most amazingly in depth videos, so far the BEST Hero tutorials i have found for overwatch! Liked and subbed
+josh mack Thank you man! That's saying a lot, and I really appreciate your support :)
Best Tracer guide out there, subbed!
+Shadow Troopah Thank you :)! CHEERS LOVE
Fantastic tutorial, thanks for being detailed with your explanations and showing good examples
Thank you thank you! Yea, she's my favorite hero as well :) Hope you can use the tips I gave you, good luck! She's a difficult hero start off with !
Thank you, with this I've learned something really important that not everyone do : we must change the heroes if we're having a bad time.
YES. This is very important to know! A lot of my videos usually revolve around one hero, but in reality, you want to be changing back and forth depending on what you see! It's good that you know this :)
Tracer main myself. This is a great guide! Got yourself a new subscriber.
+SmoothAsUsual47 Hope you are able to make good use of the tips in this guide :) Let me know how it goes for ya!
Dibz So far so good. Completed my first 30-0 game today!
SmoothAsUsual47 O wow, that's smooth as hell. LOL
Dibz Thanks! I posted it on my channel if you wanna check it out. Tell me if I made you proud. Haha
SmoothAsUsual47 haha it was a pretty good game! It was on console right?
So many helpfull tips man! Great job!
Thanks +Edworld Rabelo :) Hope you can put them to use and improve your Tracer play!
Very informative video seeing that this was also in the beta! Looking for more content!
Thanks Payton! Feel free to check this one out that I recently released, where I go in depth in my decision making and gameplay style:
th-cam.com/video/0zhqxWLVFQ0/w-d-xo.html
Cheers!
Thanks!
Yes, I'm sure they will help! Thank you! :)
such a great tutorial, good points. thanks yo!
Hey Matt! I'm glad you found this guide useful! :)
bro that transition at around 10 mins to volskaya lmao that was sick editing. :D
Thanks dude! That's one of the reasons why I like making Tracer videos, as her abilities are really fun to play around and edit with :)
hey dibz do you play ranked and if so would you like to 1. play with me on ranked and 2. what is your rank if you play it?
swag I would be alright with playing with you if I'm not playing with any of my friends :) Maybe I'll just do a day where I play comp with only viewers, but we will see ;) I am currently rank 65/66 around there, and my highest was 69.
oh cool!
dibz I forgot to ask you what your battlenet id was
lol maybe direct message me it instead of it in the comments or whatever you wanna do.
I never really realize about stealing health packs, definitely going to try that to annoy the enemies
Abduh Abdat the funny thing about that is trying to steal health packs when ur on full health. that's especially common if you get in the habit of rewinding after taking initial damage.
Love these tracer pro videos!
Great video!! Do you have some tips to improve my aim? Something regarding sensitivity or training maybe?
Hey +dificulttocure ! I've actually got an aiming and sensitivity training video :) Here it is!
th-cam.com/video/AvF57L6ytZw/w-d-xo.html
Fantastic guides, instantly subscriped. Wierd these aren't in the top when searching for tracer guides/tips. :O
If I may ask a random question, what are your thoughts on picking tracer rather than genji, for a team comp?
THANKS MAN THIS HAS REALLY HELPED ME IMPROVE 😄😃😀😊😉
+Some guy hey dude! Glad that you were able to improve your Tracer gameplay :) :)!! Keep it up!!
+Dibz thanks dude 😊
Super helpful, thanks!
I remember it not being that way when I first got beta, but o well hehe
Yea for Reinhardt I said that if he's low, you can blink behind him to annoy/deal damage. If he's full life though, that's something you'd want others to deal with before you pick at him. Good explanation on armor though, I didn't know that much detail about it till now! :)
another great video dibz. cheers. I would love to see longer videos from you. maybe a full game sometime.
+Exlemic Thanks man! I have been posting full games, if you want to check them out! I've recently uploaded a Zenyatta 3-round KOTH game actually, and will be posting more when I can :)
+Exlemic dude why do you have Putin giving Asuka milk as you're profile pic?
Excellent stuff!
+Brian Ward Thank you! Hope it helped you out a bit :)
Dibz It did! I actually came to this channel through your interview on Overwatch Central.
I "main" Soldier and Tracer, with some Bastion and Roadhog thrown in. It's awesome to watch guys like you play, and I learned some pointers in your video that I haven't seen anywhere else!
Keep it up!
thanks for the guide
Really really great guide, thank you so much that was very informative!
+Royal Lights Thank you :) I'm very glad you liked it!
Tracer should be allowed to recall if she’s in a junkrat trap
Or in a Zarya grav. BLIZZ PLIZZ
Dibz ikr when Moria can just get out of a grav, why can’t tracer!!??
DJ Valentine Hahaha thanks for the support! If I ever do a D.Va guide though, I'll definitely do it in the same format as my other ones :)
yep good tracer guide one of the best ive seen. even tho i dont need it cause i learn all this on my own. My friend tells me my tracer is really good and his rank 4006 in second season this is coming from him so yea. but great video, i still look up vids to see if i can learn anything that's how u stay good right?
Thanks +Ryan NightKit ! Glad you enjoyed the guide ;) And yes, looking at different videos to increase your knowledge is always a good way to get better!
can you make a video about which heroes are good for which maps?
Her Blink is defaulted to right-click as the secondary binding, just btw. You can use shift or right-click without changing any bindings.
Thanks this really helped me
+DONO FIRE Happy to hear :D Let me know if oyu have any other questions!
Dibz great video mate try to do this with heroes you main its help a lot. Subbed!
+JosSerrano Thanks man! I'm going to try to do this with all the heroes once the game releases, and once I get a good feel for each and every one of them! So keep an eye out ;)
Im a simple bronzer, I see Dibz, I like.
I tend to miss some of my sticks too, which never feels great :(
One thing that can help you though is knowing the distance of your blink.
Honestly, though, the best thing you can do is just practice in the training range :)
Hope this helps!
Great guide, terrific tips. Do you have a tactic for against Hanzo though? I like to pray he's garbage.
Dibz True, thanks for the info.
5:20 to 5:30 yyou managed to dodge a hook and a flash at the same time lol
Great stuff I've been playing Tracer non-stop as the game has come out. Now I wanna ask does anyone know if recall still works during a flashbomb/hook? I don't recall it working that way in the release (as I didn't play the beta). If it does that may certainly save me some cheap deaths in the future. Great vid either way, love how in depth the information is!
Haha "I don't RECALL it working that way in the release" ;)
Anyway, no, you can't recall while flashed, hooked, OR TRAPPED (Junkrat traps). So, you should either hold down E to recall once the duration of the stun/hook/trap is gone, or spam blink away. If you hold down E after being stuck in a trap, you should regain your health back that you lost by stepping in it.
only if you made this video before i played with you XD well this will still help me alot when the game actually comes out. Thanks!
+Moist haha I was actually in the process of editing it during the weekend! didn't have all the footage I wanted though :(
:( oh well lol
this is a great guide!
Great video!
Thank you thank you! I hope you found it helpful and put it to use :)
good tips =D keep it up!
Thanks! :)
Thanks a lot epic guide :)
nice video man
There are so quick guides for characters and 95% of them are entertaining but worthless.
Word. You going so far in-depth makes your video's must watch above any i've seen. Love the new vid!
lol saw the JokersWyld. He sent me here. Sweet guide.
Haha JokersWyld's a cool dude :) Used to play with him a lot, but haven't had the chance to recently! Hope you found the tips helpful! Thanks for the support :)
nice video, you going to do anymore hero's?
Hey +Jordan Laney! Yes, actually! I've been experimenting with doing different types of videos lately, and am going to continue with this series! I'm actually working on one at the moment, but yea, they take a LOT longer to edit and more work to do than my other ones, which is why there's such a huge gap in each hero. But yes, I'm planning to do all the heroes! :)
Dibz awesome, cant wait to see it
Useful ty!
I have a guide on aiming and doing that here:
th-cam.com/video/AvF57L6ytZw/w-d-xo.html
Enjoy!
Actually, if you're playing as Tracer, try to get close as you can to junkrat and just be smart about being near him, and use his own bombs against him, he can't kill you without killing himself if you're close enough, so you have a better chance of getting them to panic and giving you the upper hand
really nice guide!in 1vs1 situation i would stay away also from a reaper, there is no way a tracer could kill a full hp decent reaper in my opinion
+Dibz true, if you are good u can warp behind his back shoot his head, warp again do same stuff and he will most likely panic shift from the fight and u just gotta kill him off, but for plebs like us it was worth mentioning :P
whats your sensitivity? and what do you think is the best sight? (short crosshairs, crosshairs, circle, default, etc.
I've never tried the Scout in TF2 before, so... XD Is Tracer one of your favorites to play? :D
scout runs faster and can double jump but its so much easier to track targets with him unlike tracer where you teleport super fast. And as for your question.....NO!!! D.Va is waifu.
ahh I see, hahaha XD Tracer is MY fav! :p D.va is pretty sick though now :o
Aiming...my one GLARING weakness lol. Still I love playing as Tracer as after trying her other characters just seem slow lol(though I love Junkrat)
I know exactly what you mean. Whenever I play other heroes, I always think "Damn I wish I had blink now".....And about aiming, it will get better over time as long as you play more and practice. You'll improve, trust me ;) I honestly started off with pretty bad aim! :P
good vid
ty
No problem man! Glad you found it useful :)
hrmmm nice video
+kandyrew Thanks dude, you've got a nice Tracer guide as well
so many views and so little subs. makes no sense. great player with great things to say. keep it up dibz. csgo players always have the advantage on other games ;]
+Tormented Battousai Haha I'm a fairly new TH-camr xD still fresh at this stuff, but thank you for the kind words!
does anyone know if there are videos of the flanking paths that are unconventional? I'm a tracer main and that would be extremely helpful.
+nitster I'm thinking about working on a video on that subject soon! Keep an eye out :)
Hello, ı just watched your video. İt is very handsome. But ı want to know something do you use RMB (right click) for blink? My english is bad so ı couldnt understand on the video what you have said.
more tracer
+Kitcot Gaming will do :D !!
I find it hard throwing my bomb and sticking it onto the enemy team any tips? D:
+Cutest Loli You're in luck actually. I'm going to be posting a guide on improving your sticky aim tomorrow morning! (Roughly within 12 hours). Keep an eye out for that one!
Dibz :DD AYY
hey, what sensitivity do you prefer and why?
Yea, she takes a lot of practice, but soon enough you'll see improvement :) My sensitivity for Tracer is:
Overall: 6
Horizontal: 30
Vertical: 15
MOUSE DPI: 1000
Can u hold RB on Xbox when hooked or only works for PC
I'm pretty sure it works for all platforms, but you can test it out. Here's how:
1. Use recall
2. When your cooldown has 3 or so seconds left, start holding down recall again.
3. If you automatically recall once the CD timer reaches 0, it works. If you don't recall, then it doesn't.
This is how I tested it for almost all heroes, and it does on PC at least.
Dibz Thanks for the tip and plus love ur tracer content
How do you deal with Reaper? He has high damage when near and I need to be near to him in order to do enough dmg.
Hi I was wondering if it was possible to know how much would be the sensitivity of your mouse carried on console
Hey Marco! Ummmm I'm actually no entirely sure about this one. I haven't heard of a converter before, and I couldn't find one after some research. But if you ever do find one and need my mouse sensitivity, here it is:
General: 6
Horizontal: 30
Vertical: 15
DPI:1000
Good luck! :)
+Dibz thanks dude! You're the Be(A)st!
Italy love Dibz ❤️
+Marco Giacomini Ooo Italy! Greetings :D It's amazing to feel support from halfway across the world :) Thank you!!
Does bhopping do anything I do it like habitually in all games lol
Nope, bhopping doesn't do anything in Overwatch XD I habitually jump all the time though, which makes you a harder target to hit, so there's that :p
do sombra
You sound like a teacher in this video makes me wanna fall asleep
U are godlike
Not nearly! Always looking for ways to improve, but thanks :)!
do you wana play together if so add me
Trist
