I am using the poor man version that you explained in another video, and really feel that for us Mavic Air2 users it's a viable alternative without spending a lot of money! The FPV definitely has it's place in the drone world & perhaps down the road I'll consider that route, but for now I'm satisfied & you did an excellent job of explaining the "choices" we have with live footage! Thank you!!!

Well, unlike when watching a video before about the FPV drone, I feel doing FPV flying with the Zoom or Air 2 might work for me. The idea doesn’t scare the bejesus outta me. So, now it’s get the Smart Controller and goggles then do some FPV flights with both my Zoom and my Air 2. I think I’m going to enjoy it most with the Zoom. Thanks! Great video teaching me how to get more out of drones I already own.

You say that you can fly the Mavic Air 2 with the DJI Goggles using the standard controller too. How do you do that? I bought the goggles and tried it by connecting it to the standard controller via USB-C (since it doesn't have HDMI) and it wouldn't connect. Very disappointed. You also fail to mention that you don't get head tracking with the DJI Goggles like you do with third party apps/goggles. Also, I tried the goggles that come with the FPV drone and the screens inside them are way smaller than on the old (white) one which is a big issue if you have low vision like me and if you want the flight experience to be immersive.

Sorry for a loooong post (but perhaps some of you who follow droneXfactor can pitch in too? Firsts off. Thank's for your very informative and unbiased videos on drones. I really like your "no bullshit" way of explaining differences and adv/disadv of all of it. But I have a (possibly idiot newbie question) ((I do try to scour forums and read up but it is just to much info to take in to make a decision ..)) My Q is this. I want to buy a DJI drone (that much is decided, DJI is what I want). Why do I want to buy a drone? Because I want to feel like I'm flying! (Have had mini R/C helicopters in the past, but to difficult and too expensive to repair..). So I want to FEEL like I'm flying - which means I want FPV. Not for racing, not for extreme long range, I simply want to put on some goggles and cruise around and get the feeling of being up in the air! But I need quality and FOV. And I want "plug an play" kind of. (Hence DJI). I don't have the money to buy the newest DJI FPV Drone. But what I am thinking now is: Dji Air 2 with DJI goggles ? I am skeptical of using my iPhone (11) . Drone wise: DJI Air 2 seems to be the most bang for your buck in a "all purpose" drone right now? But when the DJI Mini 2 came out I thought: yes! But then I'm looking on eBay and seeing Mavic Pro (original, not the 2) for very good prices with a shitload of included accessories. Please guys, give me some input. I know the fundamental differences of all the DJI drones. I just want to get up in the air, and feel like I'm there with a minimum of fuss, but with quality gear. Ps. this is what a cancer diagnosis does to you, I'll live, but I have decided to put aside some money to feel good while I will be down and out for some time. Me getting my drone will help me through it.

Hey friend, how are you? Well, I hope so. I'm Brazilian and this translation is by google ok, so if there's any mistake I'm sorry. Well, I just want to say that I'm also looking for a drone for work (future) and leisure, like flying as well as you said. If you still don't have what you're looking for, I believe the DJI Mavic Air 2 with Magicmask glasses is a great option. But as for what you said about the disease. I would like to say that I am sorry for what you are going through, but know that the Lord of the Heavens and the Universe knows this too, just give it to him and trust with all your heart ok. I just felt like writing this ok. God bless you, and great flights.

Both drones aren't the same, Dji FPV is meant to be flown in acro mode, using normal or sport mode is a waste!! It was a lower battery life because it uses more energy, it goes faster, the mavic is for cinematic flying or flying for fun. Not meant for professionals unlike the DJI FPV.
