I’m almost at the two minute mark and I’m impressed already. I Purchased an air to ask and it’s on its way here. I’ll have it this coming week. My first drone which I loved was a phantom three pro. I had it for three years but I crashed it and it was all because I didn’t do a proper preflight check. Ironically, it was the return home altitude that somehow had gotten sent to zero. I was doing a DroneDeploy mission over a new neighborhood, and when the mission was done, the drone started coming back to me and descending from about 300 feet all the way down to zero. By the time I knew what was happening I was just seconds away from being able to flip it into Addie mode to stop the descent but I was too late. It hit the ground bounced up, rolled over on its back hit the street and slid right to my feet. It never flew right after that even after having it repaired. The reason I stop the video and I’m commenting here as I noticed in the preflight check in the menu of the year to ask the first item was returned home altitude. If I had I had that setting as a preflight check right up front in an easy to access area I’d still have my phantom three pro to this day. I know the new drones are much more capable, but I tell you I had a Mavic pro after that, and I did not like the Mavic pro at all. I think about large part of that was I had to look at a little iPhone screen instead of my large iPad when I was flying it. But it was just something about it. They didn’t feel as good as the phantom three pro so I’m looking forward to the air to ask in the 1 inch sensor and hopefully it’ll have a good video not the grayed out video my Mavic Pro had. I’ve sent sold the Mavic Pro a few weeks ago for $400 and taking the money and put it toward my air 2S. Thanks for your video. Excited to watch the rest of it.

This is great advice to get your head around, getting my head around these ideas really gets your head around so you don't waste time trying to get your head around these tips just get your head around them.
Tip #27 "Don't forgetting get your head around." Never Heard that so many times in my life. I busted out laughing every time he said it. Needless to say , I was laughing and awful lot. LMAO. 🤣

@@DansTubeTV The 2S is good. coming to terms with the fixed aperture and NDs, but overall works well. I've changed the motions settings for real estate shoots and it's become fairly smooth :-)
Really good video to get your head around. There are some things I got my head around that I did not know but once I got my head around I am now using them to get my head around.
@@DansTubeTV , hi there flew yesterday for the 1sr time. It's soooo fast compared to my 2017 Mavic 1. Only managed to use 1 battery until a crop duster arrived. Got some nice pics of him but then had to land. Must admit couldn't find half my settings. Greetings from Sunny Cape Town South Africa

I’m not new to flying drones I am new to the air 2s and as I explained I just want to know driving up Mount panorama will keep the same altitude or will I have to manually have to adjust the altitude on the way up and on the way down. I have had my mini2 for a couple of years now and have made the step up to the heavier drone and all the new features but in no TH-cam video can I find that tells me when it’s tracking you will it keep the same altitude. If you know what I mean and understand what I’m asking. I plan to have the drone follow my car around the track probably at a altitude of 10 m but will it stay10 m above the car all the way up the mountain and all the way down the mountain. I haven’t even registered my air 2s yet. I’ll be getting my refresh package tomorrow evening Monday night in probably taking it out for the first time in a big open field for a test flight then I’ll decide where to go on the weekend to test the tracking out with my car that I need somebody else with me to keep spotting.
@@MadMax-vy9hk - yes. The drone should increase in altitude as the subject does. Maybe try this in an open safe location before testing it up a mountain ⛰

Before I fly it though, I want to be sure where in my area I can fly it and practice. I know that for drones, the Parks are off-limits, so I’m looking for various friendly paddocks and so forth. I was looking to buy a Drone from DJI since the release of the Phantom 2…then nearly bought the Phantom 3 but I held off as it was just to much money at the time. @@DansTubeTV So good, I'm watching it again. Cheers. BTW, tip #16 to charge the battery is not an option (at least with the latest version of the software, 1.4.4) on my Air 2 S here in the United States, at least. Plugging the cord into the phone charges by default. Cannot be switched off.
Amazing Vid! Thank you! Can one person fly the drone with the controller, and the other one is using the touchpad on the phone or iPad to controll the Gimbal? When you use touch to go left and right, is the gimbal turning left and right, or the drone? Could you make a fancy shot by "going up" + "sideways" + "Backwards" + "using touch gimbal control" ? That would be a total gamechanger for me.
Yes, you should be able to do all of that. It will take time to practice but I’m sure that you could incorporate multiple movements. I try to add different movements to my drone shots.

I’m not new to flying drones I am new to the air 2s and as I explained I just want to know driving up Mount panorama will keep the same altitude or will I have to manually have to adjust the altitude on the way up and on the way down. I have had my mini2 for a couple of years now and have made the step up to the heavier drone and all the new features but in no TH-cam video can I find that tells me when it’s tracking you will it keep the same altitude. If you know what I mean and understand what I’m asking. I plan to have the drone follow my car around the track probably at a altitude of 10 m but will it stay10 m above the car all the way up the mountain and all the way down the mountain. I haven’t even registered my air 2s yet. I’ll be getting my refresh package tomorrow evening Monday night in probably taking it out for the first time in a big open field for a test flight then I’ll decide where to go on the weekend to test the tracking out with my car that I need somebody else with me to keep spotting.
@@MadMax-vy9hk - yes. The drone should increase in altitude as the subject does. Maybe try this in an open safe location before testing it up a mountain ⛰
@@MadMax-vy9hk Hey... Just the above video helped me more than anything DJI offered. For someone who wants to fully utilize and protect an investment of hundreds to THOUSANDS of dollars, $149 U.S. well worth it.

This is great! Thanks so much. I haven’t even flown mine yet, just powered everything up and adjusted to the recommended settings. Before I fly it though, I want to be sure where in my area I can fly it and practice. I know that for drones, the Parks are off-limits, so I’m looking for various friendly paddocks and so forth. I can’t wait! Will you have any updates when they change up the firmware, etc? Anyway-this was really helpful! Thanks for doing this bro!

Parks are not off limits in the UK if you fly under article 16, Although you need to join a flying club first.

Very very awesome information especially for me just getting my first Drone ..and yes it’s a Mavic Air 2s 😉😎.
I was looking to buy a Drone from DJI since the release of the Phantom 2…then nearly bought the Phantom 3 but I held off as it was just to much money at the time.
So finally after waiting so many years I jumped on the Drone Bandwagon and wanted something that would pretty much do everything I ever wanted- this Drone does meet all my requirements and I am stocked to receive it soon.

@@DansTubeTV So good, I'm watching it again. Cheers. BTW, tip #16 to charge the battery is not an option (at least with the latest version of the software, 1.4.4) on my Air 2 S here in the United States, at least. Plugging the cord into the phone charges by default. Cannot be switched off.
Ahhh, that might be an Android thing? iOS users can choose to switch that feature off.

Amazing Vid! Thank you! Can one person fly the drone with the controller, and the other one is using the touchpad on the phone or iPad to controll the Gimbal? When you use touch to go left and right, is the gimbal turning left and right, or the drone? Could you make a fancy shot by "going up" + "sideways" + "Backwards" + "using touch gimbal control" ? That would be a total gamechanger for me.
Yes, you should be able to do all of that. It will take time to practice but I’m sure that you could incorporate multiple movements. I try to add different movements to my drone shots.
