my sister had her nostrils "trimmed down", they didn't do anything else, just that, and the result is great, she still looks the same but her nose is no longer the only feature that you notice when you look at her face. she told me that it was a very quick procedure and the recovery time was short
i realized some time ago that the huge, round, green doe eyes and sharp nose i always wanted simply would not ever fit my face. despite being mixed race (indigenous and european, like most latines), my features (besides my skintone and hair texture) are still indigenous and my sharp, narrow, dark eyes (which my mother also has) and my round nose are a part of my heritage.
A friend of mine had a nose job and she looked like a completely different person. Before she was gorgeous. After she was bland. She lost what made her magnetic and unique. It's not something that we say, it's absolutely true
I’m one of those people that has that weird bump on their nose instead of it being flat and smooth. It’s always bothered the shit out of me but i now see that it makes me look more unique and its kinda cute tbh
I have an ethnic nose and I used to hate it. But now I see that it perfectly fits my strong jawline and high cheekbooks. A small dainty nose would never look good on me
I like pretty much all qoves videos but I appreciate this especially because it’s talking about my personal insecurity and also has a kinder tone overall. People keep telling me my nose is too flat and ought to be higher but I know the issue is the width. Not sure if there is any plastic surgery for that, either way I think it’s better for me to just appreciate what I got.
I wanted a rhinoplasty for the longest time to make my nose bridge higher, but recently, after seeing myself with a filter for that, i looked so bad and the nose was just so weird with the rest of my face now i'm glad i have my nose that fits my face just fine.
Flat nise or low nose bridge make people look younger and more cute. I looked better when I had a lower nose bridge and hate how I got my dad high nose bridge.

It’s a young face, of course, with poreless skin and plump, high cheekbones. It has catlike eyes and long, cartoonish lashes; it has a small, neat nose and full, lush lips. It looks at you coyly but blankly, as if its owner has taken half a Klonopin and is considering asking you for a private-jet ride to Coachella. The face is distinctly white but ambiguously ethnic-it suggests a National Geographic composite illustrating what Americans will look like in 2050, if every American of the future were to be a direct descendant of Kim Kardashian West, Bella Hadid, Emily Ratajkowski, and Kendall Jenner (who looks exactly like Emily Ratajkowski). “It’s like a sexy . . . baby . . . tiger,” Cara Craig, a high-end New York colorist, observed to me recently. That got rid of my nose insecurity for good, and I’m actually confident in myself now (or at least with my nose!)
I always felt insecure of my nose because it has a huge bone in the middle part which makes it look bent and more like a witch- but I've learned from this video to love the way you look because there are so many people out there just like you.
I like my features because I resemble my family. My dad gets to see his moms face whenever he looks at me even though shes no longer here. I hope i get to see mine in my children too.
I have no nose bridge and I wish I had more shadows/angles on my face. I dont have high cheek bones either. BUT when I went to Cambodia and saw how different khmer people looked outside of the US, I realized this is a common trait of my ethnic group. If I had a sharp nose, I would not look very Khmer when I am 100% KHMER.
This makes a lot of sense, i feel really good about my nose until i see girls in their twenties with smaller prettier noses than mine getting nose jobs, or talking about how big their noses are.

I’ve always hated my forehead since it’s huge and I want to get hairline lowering surgery but people tell me that a small forehead won’t fit me since I have a large jaw💀 I can never win lol
hi ! haha i think its similar to my case but with the nose ...i have a hump not too big ,not too small but a hump still and i cant tell if it is the result of a fall and "face landing" from a quad, in my childhood (when i was around 7 or 8 years old i think) or if its natural hereditary ( my dad had a big curve , crooked , broken septum nose..not sure if crooked and broken septums made by accidents can they be inherited? but anyway ..my nose is my internal conflict... At times i feel like i should accept myself as i am , but also at times , seeing that hump in the mirror ... makes me wish being able to fix it or modify it at least a little bit .... just to make it look as a more straight septum... but oh well.. its my Achilles heel hahahaha.... but it gets pretty sad and distressing to have that internal conflict.... i wish to be able to be finally in peace after trying to solve how my nose looks especially compared with the rest of my face..
I would never get any cosmetic surgery. I know I am not the best looking, and I know I am not the worse looking. My face has stayed pretty much the same for over 30 years. So even though I can see all the flaws in my face, I won't change it unless of some medical reason. Whoever is going to like my face will like it, whoever is going to hate my face will hate it. I can't please everyone.
I had a nose job. Changing your nose does indeed alter the proportions of your face! My nose appears shorter now, which means more space between my nose and upper lip. This causes my upper lip to appear thinner due to it comparatively occupying less of that empty space. My eyes appear larger and spaced farther apart. My nose is smaller and more symmetrical so it no longer creates the illusion of small, close-set eyes. The recovery for a rhinoplasty is more extensive than anybody tells you. You must massage your nose every hour for the first several months, pressing down on freshly broken bones. If not, the swelling will not go down and you will have permanent scar tissue that makes your nose large and shapeless. It takes a full year for the nose to heal. This means a full year of having some level of swelling preventing you from seeing the true final result. The first few days are brutal. I was sat leaned over a bucket filling it with blood. Bruising is severe. My eyes swelled shut on day three. Surprisingly, I experienced zero pain in the weeks following surgery. Hope this helps.
My nasal bone is kinda cooked thou that's become more prominent and squished with wearing glasses. The rest of my features are very soft (eyes, lips, jawline) while my nose is sharp and looks out of place. It's the only thing other than my height I'd wish to change
i've been told i look ethnically ambiguous - i inherited the facial features + black curly hair from my dominican dad but i'm super pale like my white hispanic mom. i used to be super insecure when i was a teen in school because i didn't look like most kids whose ethnicity was easily defined.
I have what would be considered the “perfect nose” in society (it is a little wide though probably because of my caribbean genes). Growing up I always hated my nose because no one in my family had it, their noses are big and bulbous and I always wanted one like that cause I think they’re so gorgeous, I’ve only just learnt to love it as I found out I got my nose from my late grandfather, but gosh I will always love bigger and bulbous noses because they’re the prettiest in my eyes
I’m a bloke with a very prominent brow bone that almost looks like a Neanderthals brow but with a small upturned feminine nose.. always thought my face looked freaky and out of proportion and the two features just don’t mix. Always try and tell myself to just focus on more important things but still feel insecure about it every now and then. It doesn’t help when women say they are jealous of my nose shape
My face is asymmetrical. For a long time I hated it. Then I realized if someone thinks that gives them the right to treat me poorly THEY are the ugly not me. Also I was considering surgery but realized I didn't want to erase any part of me. Every angle deserves to be. I wouldn't change my face
I think you should study hard if considering plastic surgery. Not just the surgery and the surgeons, but study yourself, your face, and try to get really clear about what you want. You can get a glimpse into certain changes through filters and apps. I did and i am excited to go through with my rhinoplasty because I’m basically certain that it will go as planned and that I will be happy. Lax your expectations while also getting clear on what it is you Really want done.
That’s why if you get a nose job and it seems like the philtrum will be longer, consider asking your doctor about columella surgery (if you lack one, to extend further out your lower nasal area which will lift the philtrum) or even to do a small lip lift along with the rhino. They’ll absolutely do that for you without any issues or extra scarring. The issue is when people don’t ask this, and they leave with a slightly longer philtrum.
i never really understood getting a nose job especially if it is a feature very unlike what you already have. my natural nose might not be the most feminine, but a pointed button nose would be too narrow for my face shape and make me look masculine.
this is so fr. i’m stating to love my nose shape. i don’t get changing my nose to look like the average american actress when im nor american or an actress. it suits my face so why change.
Honestly I have always been insecure of. My nose but that’s for a fact that if I do change my nose shape it’s surely will destroy my facial harmony as my nose fits my face perfectly but it’s just big witch always makes me insecure , but what she just said makes almost sense
I think a short upper lip makes a person’s nose look larger, yet there is a trend toward having the upper lip shortened-and it leaves a visible scar! Does it somehow make the upper lip look fuller, perhaps???
The thing is if I got the nose job I always dreamed of I'd just get hooked on plastic surgery instantly and end up as one of the women on Botched...there is not a single thing I like about my face or my body.
my nose is unproportionally big, like its fat! nose bridges are far beyond my eye corners. its so horrible to watch those videos, where people are told to love their noses, and then show only pictures of long noses... frustrating and you know how i felt when that filter where you look like shrek (even worse, you dont have eyebrows and your nose gets reeeally fat) became popular and people were like putting that filter on to show ugliness and other negative features and then turn it off to show something good?
I have bulbous nose and deviated septum and I want a button nose but not too small. Although I do feel my cheeks are gonna look more wide since I have round face and no cheekbone its all cheeks so its kinda flat and not filled like usually people woth prominent cheek bone or cheek have.
Ik that different types of nose can look beautiful but only when other features balance it very well like big nose with big lips big face but in my case my nose is big and my lips are of size of baby lips and my overall face is also small but my nose is big so my face isnt balance so it don't look good
Exactly! If it’s something YOU want it’s 100% ok no matter what anyone else is saying. I agree it shouldn’t be seen as the norm, but it’s also not a bad thing as long as YOU are happy with yourself at the end of the day.
Do you plan to have kids? If so what do you tell them if they inherit your nose? Just curious, this is what is stopping my sister from getting a nose job she says she will feel guilty.
How sad that the world today is absolutely obsessed with perfection in all aspects of life. People no longer know how to simply enjoy life and be thankful, accept how things are and simply be. They always strive to attain a certain something, an ideal look, an ideal house, the ideal car, the ideal job, etc. sadly, they waste their lives constantly chasing something that will never bring them happinness becouse the moment they have it, they chase something else.

hi ! haha i think its similar to my case but with the nose ...i have a hump not too big ,not too small but a hump still and i cant tell if it is the result of a fall and "face landing" from a quad, in my childhood (when i was around 7 or 8 years old i think) or if its natural hereditary ( my dad had a big curve , crooked , broken septum nose..not sure if crooked and broken septums made by accidents can they be inherited? but anyway ..my nose is my internal conflict...
Bro give me some of that forehead
@@JaneDoe-st3gi Please take all of it lol
I would never get any cosmetic surgery. I know I am not the best looking, and I know I am not the worse looking. My face has stayed pretty much the same for over 30 years. So even though I can see all the flaws in my face, I won't change it unless of some medical reason. Whoever is going to like my face will like it, whoever is going to hate my face will hate it. I can't please everyone.
By the way, the philtrum ratio grows larger as you age. So that nose job is NOT guaranteed to look good later on...
Mine is still too. Wide and messes. Up harmony. Of ever make enough in my life I'll change it
Be grateful for what God has gifted you❤
I had a nose job.
Want him to do a face analysis for me but I feel I’d just not be able to bounce back from the emotional damage 😂
i've been told i look ethnically ambiguous - i inherited the facial features + black curly hair from my dominican dad but i'm super pale like my white hispanic mom. i used to be super insecure when i was a teen in school because i didn't look like most kids whose ethnicity was easily defined.
Would love for you to talk about short noses aka snub noses, please.
Its funny how it annoys people when you don't have the "right nose". Insane how it triggers them.
Doesn't anyone else have chin insecurity? Im completely fine with my nose but its my chin man... its too big, sticks out and is a cleft wtf 😭💔
Mine’s small, can I have some of yours?
@schoolworkaccount3887 *grabs a chunk and slaps it to your face* there you go, now we're both happy 😭
@@strawberriesandcreamm_lol 😂
Give me some baby girl
I have a cleft chin too, I don't like it but my mom likes it says it gives your features character 🥲😂
can you talk more about the nose alar and alarpasty please
I’ve always hated my nose but I’ve been told it looks good on my face.
My face is asymmetrical. For a long time I hated it. Then I realized if someone thinks that gives them the right to treat me poorly THEY are the ugly not me. Also I was considering surgery but realized I didn't want to erase any part of me. Every angle deserves to be. I wouldn't change my face
I have a big nose and a long philtrum so I got my philtrum shortened from 2cm to 1cm. I’m in love. 3k down but I feel so much better 😊
Yes. Celebrate your family features.
it’s ridiculous that ppl can’t be unique anymore 🤦🏽♀️
who gives a shit about that anyway
That’s why if you get a nose job and it seems like the philtrum will be longer, consider asking your doctor about columella surgery (if you lack one, to extend further out your lower nasal area which will lift the philtrum) or even to do a small lip lift along with the rhino. They’ll absolutely do that for you without any issues or extra scarring. The issue is when people don’t ask this, and they leave with a slightly longer philtrum.
My nose is too short for my face, it's a cute fairy nose that many might dream of but it makes my philtrum look long
i never really understood getting a nose job especially if it is a feature very unlike what you already have. my natural nose might not be the most feminine, but a pointed button nose would be too narrow for my face shape and make me look masculine.
I feel confident after getting rhinoplasty :)
this is so fr. i’m stating to love my nose shape. i don’t get changing my nose to look like the average american actress when im nor american or an actress. it suits my face so why change.
I feel mine is too wide it’s the same size as my lips
I'm happy she's happy with her nose, but I would change the shape
About two days ago I punched myself in the shower because I hate my nose, cannot wait to have surgery and finally feel normal for once...
Honestly I have always been insecure of. My nose but that’s for a fact that if I do change my nose shape it’s surely will destroy my facial harmony as my nose fits my face perfectly but it’s just big witch always makes me insecure , but what she just said makes almost sense
I keep seeing all these older stars that have subtle procedures done and end up losing whatever makes them unique.
I love big noses ❤️
my nose is uneven and i want to fix it
Most nose jobs cut the muscle below your nose so your lip will sit lower than before and look different. Don’t do it !!!
Before i got a nose job people used to turn back and look at me on the street. But now i feel like i am invisible..
QOVES face analysis let’s go 🎉
I don't want a perfect nose i want one that makes my face look harmonious.
I think a short upper lip makes a person’s nose look larger, yet there is a trend toward having the upper lip shortened-and it leaves a visible scar! Does it somehow make the upper lip look fuller, perhaps???
Where is that clip of the red-haired girl about "getting surgery as soon as 18" from? That is an amazing result if it was a rhinoplasty
The thing is if I got the nose job I always dreamed of I'd just get hooked on plastic surgery instantly and end up as one of the women on Botched...there is not a single thing I like about my face or my body.
You can get a lip lift afterwards to make the Philtrum shorter (that’s what I’m doing)
Just wondering, does the nose change shape/get slimmer when you lose a significant amount of weight?
Mine did. Even though my nose has always been sharp but after I lost 16 kgs, my nose became slimmer and more prominent.
It's like ppl have never heard of Chloe Sevigny
I always loved my nose lol
Really be thankful to God if u have a normal nose its the worst insecurity ever
my nose is unproportionally big, like its fat! nose bridges are far beyond my eye corners. its so horrible to watch those videos, where people are told to love their noses, and then show only pictures of long noses... frustrating
and you know how i felt when that filter where you look like shrek (even worse, you dont have eyebrows and your nose gets reeeally fat) became popular and people were like putting that filter on to show ugliness and other negative features and then turn it off to show something good?
I have bulbous nose and deviated septum and I want a button nose but not too small. Although I do feel my cheeks are gonna look more wide since I have round face and no cheekbone its all cheeks so its kinda flat and not filled like usually people woth prominent cheek bone or cheek have.
Ik that different types of nose can look beautiful but only when other features balance it very well like big nose with big lips big face but in my case my nose is big and my lips are of size of baby lips and my overall face is also small but my nose is big so my face isnt balance so it don't look good
Button nose ppl where u at
Yeah, no! Getting a nose job was a great decision for me! ❤
You said it. for YOU not everyone else xx
@@limehable6613 so grateful 🙏🙏🙏
@@coldprince130 no, Im not having kids so that isn’t an issue 😂
I have such wierd long gap between my lips and nose, it kinda looks wierd, but whatever,I ain't gonna fix it ever.
I wonder if in the future, there’s going to be plastic surgery based on the golden ratio calculations or something along those lines.
