I remember an older Qoves video, where it was mentioned that feminine features can look attractive on a man. I noticed this in Tom Hardy who I find very attractive. Tom Hardy has full lips that give him a pouty look sometimes. I prefer masculine men but this feature never put me off. In fact I saw it as one of his most attractive features and it balanced out his masculine appearance.
I think full lips is a good trait whether you are male or female. Much like a small waist. A small waist is both masculine and feminine yet for whatever reason full lips is not seen that way, despite both genders seeming to like the feature. Also its funny you say "pouty lips" the very first time I ever heard that term was a woman talking about a ufc fighter named Shavkat Rakhmonov and now ive seen it twice in a week.

Studdle beard seems to be the most liked amongst women's but it's difficult to make it perfect as you need to be precise on a millimeter scale in differents parts of the beard That would help me so much !
I’m saying this as a woman-i really don’t know much about beards since i don’t have one but what’s generally appealing is that it fits your face shape. Stubbles really don’t work for everyone. My brother has a long face so he has the sides outgrown which makes his face appear more squared off, if you have a round face taper the sides and grow out the bottom, if you have well-defined bone structures, it can just be decent as well, stubbles work well. If your hair is thin I’d suggest just not growing one, if it’s super thick keeping it close to the face makes it look tidier, etc etc. (I’m an artist so i look at faces a lot.)
As a woman I’ll tell you the truth lol me and almost 20 of my female coworkers had a conversation one day about how men with JUST a mustache are SO hot lol 😂 or just a stache with some stubble even! 🔥
I had an overbite and crowded teeth, got orthodontic treatment to fix both and while I love the results, there’s been no noticeable change in the amount of attention I get from the opposite sex. It’s as if nothing changed and I don’t know what to make of that 🤨
For once, I totally agree with all analysis on masculine features faces. I totally have the "long term" type. Never got any troubles for having a gf desiring long term, but had more trouble with getting one nights and short term. Last thing i'd had is cheek bones (they need to be apparent). But generally speaking all structutal facial bones ideally need to be apparent. Love yourself, cheers
It would be interesting to see women's preferences by factors like age groups, culture etc... For example, just from my experience it seems like younger women (teens, early 20's) typically are more drawn to the pretty boy/feminine look while older more mature women (mid 20's and up) typically are more drawn to the masculine/mature look. Furthermore, beauty standards for men seem to differ by culture. For example, in the west male beauty standards seem to be a lot more masculine compared to Japan or South Korea. The data would likely look quite different for different age groups and different cultures.
I really hate that this is not considered more when discussing averages of what women are attracted to. Here you are grooming a beard because you read the studies only to realise that the type of women you're going for (i.e. young) like the K-Pop look. But hey, at least their mums think you're charming.
If u want to look young, be a pretty boy. Being a pretty boy has more advantages than being very masculine, ur skin will be good, u will look young, u will be able to attract younger women( which most men want) and most women dont feel safe around very masculine men in public, unless u are her husband.
Please do a video of breaking down what is considered attractive for every facial feature but for women, similar to this video. I know thats already talked about in other videos but would like full analysis in one video like this one

Yeah. And I find that the best looking "masculine" guys have some feminine features, while the best looking "feminine" guys have some masculine features. You need both dimorphism and pretty features
It would be interesting to see which of those pictures males and females find attractive. For example, as a straight male I think Christopher Reeve is 10 times more good-looking the Chris Hemsworth.

I agree for short term relationship women and men tends to be more attractive on bad boy looking men while on long term relationship they prefer feminne angelic features.

Hayden Christiansen isn't what I would consider attractive. Plus he played a total asshole and a shitty character is only atteactive to people from bad families. No mentally healthy person would consider being with him. Looking at Nataly Portperson's version of Padme.
I have a distinctively masculine facial structure, characterized by my full lips, thick eyebrows, and strong square jawline. To balance out the squareness of my jawline, I typically wear a light designer stubble. A lot of women have told me I look a “little fruity.” What is up with that?
As to whether women prefer masculine or feminine traits: my experience suggets that they want a masculine (square) jaw and masculine (hunter) eyes with everything else (nose etc.) being feminine. Think Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, or Timothée Chalamet. The typical pretty boy look. These are the guys they will throw themselves at within five second of first seeing them all the while telling you how important "feelings" are for them.
Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom are pretty good examples of what ideal male attractiveness could be. theres just one thing though- i think hunter eyes make it harder for me to connect with a dude emotionally as someone who grew up around mostly women. "eyes are the window to the soul" and it makes me feel less like "oh shit im with a man right now" and more safe, less vulnerable i guess.
@@shadowpicaroI don't understand why women are constantly shamed for having a preference? As for the beard, it’s really a strange thing. Personally, I prefer to have stubbles and now I’m wearing a full beard. It’s funny how it works. When I ask what people like on me, there seems to be a split between stubbles and my full beard. People get really shocked when I shave it off because it gives me a somewhat childish appearance (see pfp 😭) and it exagerates my other features such as my eyes which are quite feminine? (They’re almond shaped) I don’t know if it’s me, but I can feel the difference in treatment with and w/o beard.
Beard can hide weak chin + the reason women now prefer pretty boy look's due the influence of singers/actors with pretty boyish look, but without this influence they prefer masculine features aka beard, broader shoulders etc, so beard is the way to go, even if you ain't that pretty with it and even if they're scared of beard look, plus the older they become, the more they prefer masculine features

Something else not talked about (prob cuz it might piss some men off) but what women perceive as attractive can also change depending on the time of a woman's cycle. Women are more likely to find 'short term' features like heightened masculinity on men more attractive during their more fertile days of their cycle, and on less fertile days they're more like to prefer 'long term' features on men.

You need a hobby that you genuinely love, so that you can enthusiastically speak about it to women who find you attractive. Truth is that if a woman finds you attractive she will essentially be into anything you’re into. I play piano, so whenever I see a girl looking at me I literally just go up to them and say something along the lines of “hey i saw you looking at me, I’m x” and then after she introduces herself I simply ask her would she mind listening to me play a tune on my piano. You only need to converse with a woman for 2-5 minutes (provided she finds you attractive) before asking for a number or instagram (at that point we all have an easier time socializing over the phone lol).

But it wasn't enough to sustain my living at the time and I had to get a job which exhausted me and that got projected into my music. So I stopped because in the end I was only forcing myself to write music. I still do some when I feel inspired but it's just for fun. That may well be a part of the issue and success. If I can get a girl to go on a date with me I could easily open up for a conversation because I love deep intellectual conversations but when I stumble upon someone randomly, I'm just stuck in ice... Another thing is that I'm also quite picky and I rejected quite a few, however none were around my age (+/-10 years or more) or without instantly visible red flags which I only see as a waste of time at my age (33M). If I only met someone my age or a bit younger and right in the head I could talk to, but that seems like a mission impossible to me. The mere fact that first article calls it the "jawbone" should immediately raise question marks. The angularity of your jaw is determined by mandibular width, the length of the rammus, and the gonial angle. Being fat will hide features, but to say that being low body fat translates to jaw angularity is dead wrong.

Birth control is also a factor as well. There are studies that show that birth control like the pill, affect women's moods and preferences too. On the pill, women prefer more feminine traits from men, compared to other contraceptives like an implanted IUD as birth control (that does not affect mood or preferences). I also think it depends on which lens of attraction as well. If we looked through the male gaze, men may appreciate or be attracted to the "alpha" or masculine traits of other men, more than women do.
I feel like what men consider to be an attractive man is totally different from what women consider to be an acttractive man. I have met many guys who believe that bulky, extremely muscular, tough looking, hairy men are what women would kill for and I really disagree with that. I am sure all women have their own preference, but all the ones I know seem to absolutely love the tall, V shaped, lean looking guy with a very good facial bone structure and somewhat feminine features. That actually seems to be the guy you just can't say no to, no matter your preference, that's the highest standard of male beauty.
Is always difficult try to analyze men beauty without the male gaze (being a man, of course) i always find myself not really understanding it at all, despite having these features, i feel more like that the way that you behave yourself, its more important than actually having these features sometimes (despite they being really important for first impressions)

@@Hitogata Yes, I really don't like it when some guys think as if it's all about the way they are physically, however, I understand that it's pretty important too. It's difficult to understand the female perspective on men, we are very visual, so it turns out that we focus a lot on aspects that reinforce masculinity: status, muscle mass, assets. When even that doesn't seem to work, for some, it's already a reason to them generalize women, when in reality, all they did was look for this masculine shell, without understanding themselves and the world in a sensitive way, something that I understand as crucial to get a woman's attention.

Exactly! No person is a one size fits all. People are not ment to be attracted to every single person they see because this will keep people faithful to their spouse's. If a person is attracted to everyone they see then this is probably a person that you want to avoid because they will have difficulty remaining faithful to their spouse.

I question the validity of the studies due to confounding factors. Particularly the effect of birth control on women which is known to make them prefer more feminine faces.
The data would likely look quite different for different age groups and different cultures.
no, women only like pretty boys for long term. for short term, they like masculine guys
Absolutely right.

Wrong for the eyes. Most of them want almond bigger eye shape than hunter . Males want hunter eyes females get intimidated

Some even started a conversation themselves and I just shied out... Therefore I'm stuck not having a relationship I long for. I have so much to offer but I just don't know how to express myself to others...
@@Jedilord882 All I have been doing for my entire life (after teenage years) was hobbies. I'm so invested in success that I forget to live sometimes. In my college years I dwelled in front of my computer writing electronic music which got me signed up to couple of labels and even booked to gigs abroad, playing my own music which I got quite a nice fanbase of. But it wasn't enough to sustain my living at the time and I had to get a job which exhausted me and that got projected into my music. So I stopped because in the end I was only forcing myself to write music. I still do some when I feel inspired but it's just for fun.
Then i got into graphic design and web design after my college which was also my education and youtube afterwards through which I grew so much that I made my own business from which I still do now. I have nearly 100k subscribers have beed doing 3D and archviz stuff for which I'm really passionate about and doing few really potential side projects that will very likely be my success in the near future. I earn well above average, drive a nice car but that didn't help my self-esteem. I know I'm to blame because I'm a type of a person that always hungers for more, and nothing is good enough currently.

And I feel much more confident in such situations, because we have a mutually beneficial interest and I pay for the services provided.
After gaining some experience and curbing my libido, I plan to move on to finding a partner through a dating app.
The mere fact that first article calls it the "jawbone" should immediately raise question marks. The angularity of your jaw is determined by mandibular width, the length of the rammus, and the gonial angle. Being fat will hide features, but to say that being low body fat translates to jaw angularity is dead wrong.
Although this channel does have it great benifits I would like to remind you all that life is not about looking attractive, it never was.

I don't think she had your best interests in mind. hope you'll never listen to people who want to destroy anything in you because you are "too" perfect. maybe for her you were too perfect, but she was selfish to want to you to change yourself forever for her. in general, if someone proposes changes to your appearance that are not connected to your style or hygiene, but connected to your physical traits (not extra weight) - it is a sign you are not a good match.

Also women's preference for masculine faces increases closer to ovulation.
