When I had nothing better to do I installed systems in my car. Then when my son got a little older his car and then his friend's cars. After doing this for years spending all kinds of money experimenting with different size components, amplifiers, crossovers, placement of speakers and everything that goes along with it. Wiring kits, fuses capacitors, upgraded alternators, upgraded wiring. I found that today's car stereos and speakers are a lot better than what they used to be years ago. The only thing that's really needed is a little bit of low end for those who really want it. Answer to that question is a name brand 10-in woofer in a box that's built by the manufacturer. Then you get a perfect match by people that do it on a computer there is no way on improving what they do. Then with an equally good quality name brand amplifier that's really all that's necessary. The days of me doing multiple amplifiers experimenting and spending all your money just to entertain the neighborhood is definitely over for me. The sound that's for me to listen to not the entertain my neighbors and for them to give me the evil eye every time I drive to my home. Do what you like maybe it's your turn to play the game.
