This answered 12 years of questions in 1 video. I gave up on forehands years ago. I just went out to my local course, and hyzer flipped a putter 250 on my second try. Thank you so much. This is game changing info here.
This video tipped me over the edge. Meaning, I'm now a subscriber. Going to try this out, because I've been inconsistent with my release. Often I've been throwing more right than what I intended. Cheers!
Trash panda gave you a shout out on his putting video. Hometown man showing out! Great video bro! You deserve all the recognition! Keep up the great content Ben!
Both are releasing at their big toe. Also remember that Eagle just had major shoulder surgery, so his upright form could have led to some problems by adding strain to his delts/ rotatorcuff. Ricky is bent over putting less strain on his delts. Let's see a video of Sarah Holcomb/ Nate Sexton style!
Thank you for the good tutorial! I am a horrible forehander, but I find out that my (almost always) throws depend very much by the form and the weight of the disc I throw; is it understandable?
Hey Alberto, I’ve found that with forehands, discs are a lot more sensitive to torque, so I would find something with neutral stability or a little over stable to practice with, and find that foot stance that is comfortable and you can repeat over and over. Hope that helps!!
Hey Eric! Great quesh. What’s probably happening is that you’re rolling your wrist over top of your elbow, causing it to be yanked left instead of straight. Focus on keeping your wrist below your elbow, and keeping your palm to the sky when you throw and see if that fixes it!
@@BensBigDrive Dude! Thanks for your help. Iv been so frustrated with forehand. Being an ex collegiate baseball player I figured it would come naturally. I kept my wrist below my elbow and now throwing forehand 300-350ft with ease and pretty accurate. Such a easy fix. Thanks again!
Great point Christofer, your shot angle will change your footwork but again it’s a very individual thing. Like for instance, I like to open my hips even more so to the target when throwing a steeper hyzer. All about finding your preference and keeping it consistent! Thanks for watching!

I was wondering why I always threw to the right. I could never get my throw right. Thanks for the tips!
Sweet Chandler, I hope this helps!!

Awesome shirt!! We still gotta play a round! Great video also
Yessir!! And I’m always down, let’s make it happen sometime soon!
Release point is way different mostly due to Ricky going hyzer and eagle flat. An anhyzer is even further in front of the body.
I just cannot find my form and end up ripping my arm off. And distance is laughable. What do you recommend?
great!
Hey, Ben, I just realised we havent seen an in the bag from you 😮
Coming soon 👀👀👀
@@BensBigDrive awesome!
My forehand is trash, but I think this may be my “aha!” Moment. Stay tuned!
I hope it works for you, thanks for watching!!
Hey @Logan, what do you think the odds are that Ben left one of those discs at the end of the video?
You are so right. I call dibs if I find them
I didn’t lose any, I donated an innova rat to the next lucky person who shanks
Ben, with my forehand I throw mine way left. People are telling me I am over powering the disc. It flips over and hits the ground. Any pointers?

Ricky is throwing an hyzer while eagle aint. Dont the type of shot change the fotwork?
