They both sing really well. But So Hyang is the only singer who has spawned in me this uncontrollable urge to run out and buy a studio monitor headset. And the funny thing is I don't usually listen to the type of songs she sings. I never felt that kind of urge because I always have a fairly good pair of speakers and never really liked to use a headset. But when I heard her sing 'Home', and then 'Hug Me' and 'Where are you', I truly regretted the fact that I don't have a perfect listening room. It is not just how well she sings but that incredible emotional impact she carries with her songs is simply heart-stopping.

They both have beautiful voices, but only one of them is using it properly. I hope Ariana starts realizing the rarity and beauty in her voice and decides to save it before it's too late.

I feel like SoHyangs voice is more relaxed sounding when she does high notes. Ariana is a good singer, but she doesn't sound as relaxed in my opinion.

Sohyang brings unparalled full power even on high note where other female singers can not do or their voice become very thin, weak, short which makes Sohyang outstanding out of crowd. On top of that Sohyang is very good at low note which was not highlighted as much as high note. So I recommend you to listen to her songs without prejudice.

Technique vs. strain. Experience vs. naivety. It seems a bit unfair, but SoHyang wins from tone to proper execution. And you could've gone up to B5. They both have beautiful voices, but only one of them is using it properly. I hope Ariana starts realizing the rarity and beauty in her voice and decides to save it before it's too late.
I hope when people watch this video they keep an open mind to what both singers have to offer, as well as doing research on what proper vocal techniques are... lmao don't just choose someone because they're popular. There are pros and cons to both Sohyang and Ariana.
