Do you struggle to watch due to interlacing issues in this view? Yeah, that's because I screwed up the export. Shot at 24 fps and exported with 30. Here is a trouble-free version: th-cam.com/video/lCznXtG-C6o/w-d-xo.html
Nice to see a new video Max, always enjoy your content. As usual straight up with your thoughts (good or bad) and then transparent with the costs. I saw someone suggest a comparison between your 2 bikes, I would like that as well.
Hi Daryl! Great to hear from you! Thank you! Its a great idea to do a comparison, cause they bikes are completely different which makes them such a nice companions. There is a reason why I still didn't sell the Inty..
Nice video. Thanks for making it. I'm currently on a Royal Enfield Continental GT 650. Love my bike, but I'm really really liking the refreshed/updated Ducati Scrambler. Thought my GT 650 was gonna be my forever bike, but I'm starting to fantasize about the Ducati. Ha! Would be great if you did a comparison video between your two bikes. I think there might be a lot of us on TH-cam who would appreciate your thoughts on the two bikes. Keep-up the good work. 👊
Hey! Thank you very much! Me too, I thought RE Interceptor will be my forever bike, especially after putting so much time, money and love into it. However, there are so many bikes out these to try and enjoy! It is not a bad idea! The bikes are totally different, each has a super power and a weak spot. I think think about it! Thanks!
@@thesundayrides Thanks for replying. Yes, I too, have put a lot of monies in mods and "love" in to my GT 650. I absolutely love it. I doubt I'll change it for the Ducati, but like I said above I'm really liking the Scrambler. I'm just in the "discovery" stage and fantasizing. Ha! Also! I'm down in Kefalonia, Greece. We will be having our 2nd Annual Distinguished Gentlemen's Ride for men's health this coming May. We'd love to have you join us, if you can. I think you are in London? There are direct flights from Gatwick to Kefalonia that time of year. It's a beautiful island. My name is John by the way, and I'm the host of DGR Kefalonia. You can find us on DGR's site. We have plenty of bikes for you to ride too! Anyway, I enjoy your channel, so keep going. Cheers. 👊
Hi John! This is really nice. I will save the date and if all is well on my end I will do my best to come! It was a dream to ride in Greece! What dates?
@@thesundayrides Max, the date for this year's Distinguished Gentlemen's Ride is Sunday, 18 May. It's a global event. There are many places in the UK that have DGR rides. (I think you are in the UK?) So, if you can't make it down to Kefalonia, check-out rides near you. The one in London is huge. Again, we'd love to have you. You can go on DGR's website and find us there, under rides in Greece. Cheers Max! 👊
I did the upside down mirrors on my triumph bobber, and they are definitely harder to use and to turn with, as they go right into your knee. There is a reason companies always had the mickey mouse style mirrors attaching inside the bars
Great video! I got mine this spring and deciding between Triumph and Ducati scramblers one of the reasons I got the Ducati was the LED lights. Well quite disappointed with night performance. I'll consider the ones you've got. Thanks! Looking forward to future videos.
@thesundayrides I've also experienced the malfunction of the mudguard. I was thinking that high mounted number plate could help but I'm not riding in bad weather so I haven't bothered doing it.
I think it might help a bit, but the dirt/water is coming from everywhere, so I am not too sure. the front mudguard is useless too. but I have a similar one on my Interceptor and I put it only for the looks. I also choose not to ride in bad weather. And when I choose to ride in mud, I don't mind getting dirty.
Hey Max watched your videos. NICE I have the same bike and I had the exact same issues! Thinking of switching my handle bars to yours Did you swtich the side mirros becuase it didnt fit on the new handle bars? Can you use stock mirros with those handle bars? Thanks!
Hey! Thanks! I wanted something smaller and slightly different from stock. And most likely there will be no space for the stock bars, because RC 609 are not long enough in the controls. Please measure the control area and search for taller bars with enough space for the grips, switches and brakes and clutch. Also, if you are okay with black - there are many options. If you like gold - you can try rizoma (my previous bars) or renthal rc 609 my current ones.
with the cat delete, did you remap the bike or let it go, and if you didn't ,any problems? i also have a 2023 night shift and doing a lot of mods and waiting for my Leo Vance cat delete to come in and I'm will be doing a install video too.. PS i love your bike and mod.
Hey! No i didn't remap - I can't find who can do it in the way, that it won't erase during the next service at the dealer. if you find the way - please do leg me know! What mods did you do with yours? LeoVince cat delete is what I have and it is awesome dude! Thank you for kind words! Good luck with yours!!
I wonder why bike manufacturers design and use such cheap and ugly looking turn indicators ? I reckon most owners this is the first mod on their list … you did this with your interceptor and now the Ducati, 😂
I think this could be a part of the big plan. I had this thought about the catalytic converter. it is stupidly ugly, it's bright steel colour, it is asking to be replaced with a lovely and elegant straight pipe. Even Ducati has one. I think bikes for the USA market go without the cat.

Absolutely! In the end, it has to be safe to ride, not only good to look at! Oh.. the bobber, one of my dream bikes!

Thank you! Same here! The headlight isn't great and I am not a big fan of the cross. Denali changed game! Very happy with them!

See? Shoulda got the triumph
My other option was Triumph Speedtwin, but the cost of insurance has decided against it

Get the cheapest parts that do the job, and assume customers would change them, anyway
And pay them again, yeah
