I prefer the functionality over the cosmetics. I have the 660 with the digital and I'm pretty satisfied with it. Of course there is plenty of room for improvement. In a perfect world the dash would be big enough for the owner to have a variety of options from the digital but analog classic gauges on the screen to all digital, etc. One brand of bike I think offers that.

Triumph is on top of their game and have been for the last few years. I do wish they showed some love to the Speedmaster, too. It is a gorgeous bike that needs floorboards and higher handlebars.
Triumph needs to address their horrible gauges. Such beautiful bikes topped off by an ugly dash is an injustice to the rest of the design. In particular I would point to the gauges on the new 800 Sport and the Speed Twin RS.

for the moment i am very happy with the z650rs i own. however in the near future i am looking for a change. seems like bmw RnineT is on the winning side. very disappointed with the 1200 speed twin
With every update their retro bikes get less and less appealing. They had it down a decade ago with the air cooled models, it's a bloody shame. What's the point of spending extra on a retro bike when it's barely even trying to be retro? Atleast the Trident update is looking good, apart from the ugly dash those look like a great buy. I hope they update the Daytona 660 with that cruise control soon, would make it a great sport tourer.
I do not understand Triumph, who push themselves as a premium brand, continuing with the one button cruise control 🤔? It can’t be that much more expensive to do a full featured cruise control. Let’s face it even the Chinese bikes have it.🤨
That brushed headlight rim and horrible round clock has ruined the Speed Twin 1200. Throwing a few leftover Thruxton bits at it is treating customers like fools. Ill stay with my vastly superior Thruxton RS

They can't coz there's already the Street Triple 765 and Speed Triple 1200. A Trident middleweight would literally overlap with the 765 too much

Triumph's lineup is the most appealing of all manufacturers IMO, although the new dashes on the Twins are a deal breaker for me.

The Tiger Sport 660 received also the slightly bigger seat from the new 800 version. Gives some more comfort to the passenger.
