Hello, and yes. Wonderful bike, it looks gorgeous, and does not need any customisation, I agree. I bought a 2020 Ducati scrambler cafe racer in silver and blue, and it is perfect for the great country roads in Northumberland, UK. Wonderful fun and perfect power. I am old, so it is quite fast enough for me. Just 😃! When I bought my scrambler, one of the channels I first watched was yours. I have started a channel of my own, now, so many thanks for your inspiration, and keep your videos coming!
Few months back I bought a pre owned Scrambler Icon 2019 model which comes with cornering ABS , more comfortable suspension (compared to the 2015 model) and fuel gauge 😀Its my first big capacity bike and I just love it! It’s very light on its feet and has excellent low-mid range torque that makes it accelerate well in any gear. I have added Belinassu Smart IAT for better fueling at lower revvs. Yes it heats up when stranded, a bit temperamental and the maintenance is on the expensive side, but apart from that it’s a fun bike to ride ❤️
My old one is Scrambler sixty2 and Now I own my Scrambler Icon next-gen! Everything is perfect! It can take me anywhere, from roads to high mountains. Congrat with your new bike and Ride safe! from fans in Thailand.
I've had a 2017 Scrambler for almost 5 years now, completely stock. Funny you say it's like a bicycle to you now as I refer to mine as my rocket-powered BMX! 😅 It's so much fun to jump on and go for a ride through the countryside.
Good review, thanks you for sharing. I have a 2023 Icon for the same reasons, I live in the country and the roads can be like those in Greece. It’s cruises fine at motorway speeds, goes great round twisties and doesn’t encourage crazy speeds. I chose it over the new monster, which is a better bike for the road, but this does everything.
I have a 2017 scrambler desert sled, it's a fun bike. It does have some weird personality traits, you have to warm the bike up for the clutch to operate normally, its hard to find neutral with the bike running, suspension is a bit stiff, and you are right about the heat from the engine. Sometimes, the rear shock gets really hot from engine heat in the summer. The bike gets a lot of looks and compliments, people usually think its an older classic motorcycle. It has good power for city riding and sounds great. Hope they fixed some of the issues with these new scramblers.
I love the desert sled! I did some great rides with it! For the neutral, if u rev a bit while trying to put neutral it’s easier! That’s a trick from Harley Davidson as it’s always hard to put in neutral!
Love the new bike. I have a 2017 Full Throttle. I changed the seat as the old one was really uncomfortable after an hour and I also put bar-end mirrors on. I love it! 😁
Nice comment and a nice bike nice coler and the exhaust yes that is a problem with this bike and I believe Triumph also has that with their scramblers and that's is a no no for me specialty in the zomer! And you your ride and stay safe!! 👍🧡🇳🇱
Great review, it looks like a really nice bike. My fiancé has been thinking about trading in her triumph street twin for the new Ducati scrambler so I appreciate your take on the bike. Happy riding!
nice video. You can never get lost in this world. It is round after all. you can just keep riding and you will reach the place where you started some day :)
I am riding the desert sled which is discontinued. I wish there is a new one like yours, Full throttlessss... but anyways I will get another newer and better Ducati Scrambler (or dessert X if someone in HK is selling at a very very very low price) if my old one is not with me in the future! Just like you!
Wow - you got a new one !! You put so much into the old bike, but yeah.... too many chef's in the same kitchen is a disaster for sure. Sorry you had a scrape - your still loving riding so that's the main thing !! I REALLY LOVE the New Scrambler - was thinking about trading in my 2015 Full Throttle for it, but I've been riding my Harley or my Tuono mostly, and I rarely use the Scrambler I have now 😕 That 2024 is F**kin Tough Looking tho... That Quick Shifter has GOT to be Great.... Glad to see you Love the New One... Damn. Like you I did EVERYTHING to my 2015 - Rizoma Bar end mirrors and Footpegs, Termignoni Exhaust, AND I just put New Pirelli's on it😖 That New One is Bad-Ass though.... I'll post if I trade up 😆 Take Care Dominika- Keep the Rubber side down 🤘🤘
Nice location! I have a 1999 Ducati Super Sport 900. I like it very much. For dirt roads and trail riding I have a Honda CRF 450 RL. I think the Ducati Scrambler would be a very nice bike for both paved and gravel roads. 🙂👍
With the type of roads you ride on I understand why you like your bike. It's perfect for you. Do you have a wind screen for it or do you prefer riding without one?
what is the made tank of for this variant ( u mentioned you cant mount magnets on it ) ? Is the Termi exhaust standard for the FT? if you're planning to change it, I would recommend you try Leo Vince. I just noticed the pipes... the placement looks weird to me vs the old one.
I love my 2020 Scrambler. It might not be a particularly attractive or exciting bike (compared to my previous 796) but it's a bike with a comfortable riding position for everyday use and touring and super good for short people (like me) or inexperienced. Although, I'd rather have a Japanese bike with the same style and specs.
I always liked the Ducati Scrambler/But ... After taking several decades off from riding motorcycles... In 2016 I bought a used Motto Guzzi V7II Stone.(less than 600 miles) Late in 2016 I also bought a used 2015 Harley Super Low 1200T (just shy of 1000 miles); In December 2020 I bought a 2020 KTM 790S Adventure new., In 2021 I bought a used 2020 Harely Low Rider S (Less tham 1000 miles). But now with the "NEW IMPROVED" 2024 Ducati Scrambler Icon I plan on buying one (for city/light off road riding and the fact it is a light motorcycle compared to the otjers I currently own) once I sell my MGV7II Stone.just saying ...
Another cool thing about Scramblers and all Ducati bikes is the company itself: the great people, and their passion for artistry in design and excellence in engineering. They are also wonderful to deal with on a personal level. My starting point regarding modifications is to consider whether I really think I, or anyone else, making after market modifications to these modern, complex machines, are capable of improving upon what the actual engineers did. An exception, of course, is a straightforward upgrade of tires or suspension components. I would check with your Ducati dealer regarding the foot pegs. On the sport bikes, you can get the super grippy pegs plus an adaptor from the Ducati by Rizoma rear sets. I think those would be much better than rubber inserts in wet riding conditions, and they are relatively inexpensive.
I tried to buy a Full Throttle from the dealer that sold me my Multi V2S. My Ducati Dealer refused to make me an offer on the trade of my V2S. The V2S is just not a fun bike for city riding, especially in the summer. I was really unhappy. So a Moto Guzzi Dealer made me an offer on my V2S and I bought a Moto Guzzi V7 Special.
The style is more modern but it is improved in all aspects!!! I had the same thoughts until I rode the new one & saw how better it is so then all my questions marks were gone & I felt in love with the new model!
As a Monster owner, I'm glad to see you're still in the air-cooled Ducati family and enjoying that unique experience!
Bought mine in June. Love the fun, exceleration, the side bags, and the entire motorcycle
I just happened to see your video and I love you and your way of presenting the information!
I have been riding 50 yrs I am 64 yrs old and love this bike looks amazing always love the flat track look & it handles amazing

This bike looks amazing! A great bike for exploring down the gravel roads! Glad you can trust it! Thanks for another lovely video!

Fantastic review - fresh and different and Actualy covered relevant details of the bike very well 👍☮️
Nice bike, cool and versatile. Got my eye on the Scambler Nightshift as I love the blue!
Nice bike, do like the desert X also, but what got most of my attention was the absolute stunning location you had stopped in. Thank you.

😂 So true, too many hands touching your bike creates uncertainties... It's best to self-maintain, as much as possible. Pirelli MT. '60s...

I've tried the Scrambler Ducati, found it very torquey at low revs. Wish Ducati could tone it down a bit, quite a bit actually, lol.
perhaps you refer to incorrect fuelling at low revs - this is down to poor mapping, not torque.
@@Sunz-me5mo It was a brand new and everything stock.
Never owned a Ducati but if I did, it would be the Desert X model.
What a location to ride
Amazing video 😍 it is an awesome bike ❤
Thank u soooo much ❤
@@DominikaRides Thank u too
It’s got a great color scheme. I feel the same way about some of my bikes. 👍🤪🏳️🌈
Is the difference between road and sports mode that noticeable?
Yes!!! Sporty is just sportyyyyyy 🔥
Yes, road is good for off road, sport for road!

čau, shlédl jsem pár tvých videí, je to pěkné koukání. Koukám, že ježdění tě baví. Kde vlastně žiješ? Anglie? Nějak mi to je záhadou.
I think she lives in Greece now , but she travels very often as she said. Just discovered this channel btw , saw her in another youtuber's video.
Nice Scrambler 😊 you think the new Helmet is not too much for this? Maybe a jet helmet on Scrambler 😅
You are in Portugal???Right?😂
I have I con and I love very much
Wow, great to hear that! Why do u love it?

Getting lost is half the fun and realising your lost and just continuing to ride. Worry later.
Yeah,we need our bikes to be reliable.

The fact that these scramblers do not have option to turn abs off in off-road conditions kills it ..also much prefer the classic lines of the gen 1.
