Love your paintings, they are really inspiring me. I am new at abstract art, but have found a passion for colours, lines and writing across the canvas. I do get totally frustrated at times and feel I " can't paint".. Bought 2 of the books you recommended, the Art Love and your colour bible.. Love both. Thank you.. Mandy

Oh my goodness this is exactly the comment I was going to write!! I feel so drawn to this...its a need more then a want...but I typically hate what I do, then hate myself for it. I've not had money to buy the books of more supplies, but I am making lists of things to slowly buy in the future if/when we're able to get jobs again. But I love your videos and appreciate SO much all of your help!! I'll never be close to a level of interest to others, but I need to draw, ink, watercolor and paint acrylics with some charcoal and random pastels or waxy watercolor crayons to add random details that I've fallen in love with...whether others enjoy my stuff or not its something I must do. My family and friends of course are very sweet and encouraging, and I appreciate that, but also feel they may feel forced to do so. But, either way, I have loved learning so much from all of you.
Is it just me or do others find themselves jumping around in the different mediums depending, apparently on mood? Although a lot of mine is totally dependent on pain levels and how much my wrecked body will allow. But I see so many things I find amazing and want to try, like I can't get enough. Some tell me I should stop exploring and stick to something until I've mastered it...while I get what they're saying and mean well, inside I just feel there's SO many beautiful ways to express ourselves and I like to try them and maybe one will eventually become a favorite, but until then, I try as many things as I can if I have the supplies. Those are low, so less experiments, but still so much fun. Gosh...sorry for the babble, I do that, especially on this subject :)😳
But, I truly appreciate how you share and teach here on this free platform to which means I can be a part of it ;) thank you!!

Hopefully it will save you tons of time and money learning all these things. And thank you for such kind words. I so appreciate hearing that what I am doing is helping. I am listening to you that you want a long in depth one. I will do it just for you. What in particular do you want me to do it on? ❤️❤️

@@AdeleSypesteynStudio of course I cannot speak for everybody, but I have some confidence that I can speak for a lot of us when I say that we would just love to watch you paint whatever is your newest painting and give a voice over explaining all your thought processes -- from materials to shape, design, colour, value...all of that stuff!
Please trust me when I tell you we are literally intrigued by every little mark an artist (you!) makes and why they make it. We are here because we already like your style of art and explanation. I totally get that some viewers only want a maximum of 15 minutes. But there are others of us who are enchanted with longer and detailed content. We appreciate it's a lot of work making these videos.💯🙏👍😊

I love this painting and have wondered how you do them. Ty so much for sharing. Can you tell me what, colors you used for the flowers? It’s probably a couple color mixtures with white done in different tones, but is it gray or raw umber or? Also I see the color tones done in order to make the flower itself...I wish, you could have showed it at least the painting of one flower. Seems like there’s a lot left out on this one for us. Thanks Adele. Love your videos!!

Adele you didn't say in this video what you did for the original background under the flowers. At first I thought it was just a white canvas. Did you paint the whole background first with one color or is there a slight variation in the background color? Enjoyed your process.

    • @AdeleSypesteynStudio

Dont' get me wrong==I like your instructions and videos, but I cannot figure out your paintings, is that a minimalist abstract or what is this about, its easier when you can say, its beautiful, I am not sure if I can see your painting as beautiful, but they really different from anything I ve seen before, there is something else is bothering me- is there any market for this type of abstracts, do you sell your art?
