I really enjoyed this video set! I have a request. Would it be possible to make another video using the other camera in a few spots. He told how important body position and movement were. It would be great to see the tool working and the body motion at the same time. I can't figure out his motion for cutting from center out on a end grain bowl. If you cannot do this I understand. These were the most informative turning videos I have seen! Great teacher!!!! Kevin

This has been a wonderful series and I enjoyed it very much. It would have been even better if the videographer was a little more experienced. The focus and bouncing was a distraction. I apologize if this seems picky but IMHO if you are going to have someone this talented, you need to have someone who really has experience recording this material.

***** Remember, this is all done in front of a live audience. There are no re-takes or pauses while the camera is repositioned. We use three cameras and you can often switch the video to another camera while one is being moved, but some times that camera shows the best detail even if the picture jitters while moving or focusing.

I must agree i think... what are you saying that fuzzy is better or that one cannot see fuzzy in real time. my apologies the one tool i wanted to see was his personal grind bowl gouge and it suddenly flipped to a totally useless angle. finding people who actually have the theory and use it is rare these days and it was just my opinioin

Tear out at 26:27 using the spindle gouge and why do you feel it necessary not to use the bowl gouge?? Sorry to say I don't like your dis-respect for safety either. No offence meant!
