    Mark I am new at doing Bowls. 2 yrs into turning and this has been very very good instruction. i still have to learn the grain pattern of woods a little better.

    many great tips and definitely a valuable lesson for me. I watched all four of the videos and am generally impressed by Marks technique and knowledge. However, I do not like how he completely ignores basic safety precautions - no eye/face protection, touching the spinning wood, adjusting tool rest when the lathe is on... All this is just asking for an accident.

      He just taught you that you know nothing about heat treating of hss steel - you need to study up
