- Knowing that many won't watch a long video, I cut this section from the "Turtle Wax 3-Step/Winter Prep" video, so more people can see what I believe to be the best way to apply and remove Flex Wax, with NO STREAKING or SMEARING at all.
Just tried your idea / method but with a very soft waffle weave cloth (not meguiars) & yes it works brilliantly, you deserve a medal as big as they come for this as I do like the flex wax a lot, many thanks from JeffB
That's awesome to hear that my results are so easily duplicated! 👍
Verrrrry nice presentation. Makes me want to run to the garage and put a coat of Flex Wax on my car. Thanks for the demo.
This is Shaun Wint I can’t wait to see you new car on your channel.
Stay tuned ... I'm going to do a full exterior detail, WITH a new ceramic coating.
Compared to other spray on ceramic products this stuff looks like a pain to use. Have used Mcquires much easier and good results. Used this and still waiting for what the direction mean about after 24 hours and a wash good gloss will appear.
Got same hard application results with a lot less product than this video with lots of streaking and not that great of shine without using some kind of topping product.
Car's looking gloss-eee! What I notice with the FLEX is the jetting effect with my flat red paint and on my wife's dark blue metal flake.
How's about you?...depth of color change with that black?
With MY car, not so much - it's so highly polished that GLOSS is the biggest improvement I see. Now with my wife's car and my MIL's car (both shades of Ford red), they DO get noticeably darker after the Flex
Nicely Done sir!
Thanks, I really enjoy making cars look better than new (and teaching others how to do the same).
Do you ever use a regular applicator rather than a towel to apply the flex wax?
I used to. But I found that a thin microfiber towel is EASIER, more efficient, and lays down a more even, thinner coat than any applicator could. Which is exactly what you want, and FOAM applicators should never be used. They put down WAY TOO MUCH product and you cannot control that.
Much needed, this shit is a pain 😂. Damp wipe is mandatory… I got some on sale, have you noticed any tiny white pieces in the spray?
No, I haven't
