    I used it on my Jaguar in October. I didn't do all the prep work, just was with a ceramic wash. Then applied the Flex Wax I step drying add. That was the last time I wash/clean/wax my Jaguar. The Jag is a daily driver and is not garaged. Yesterday Mar 16, 2022. I finally wash and applied Flex Wax. After nearly 6 mos, the water beaded and flowed right off and honestly still had a great shine. For the money, you can beat it!

    In the one-step spray-rinse method, it works much better if you only rinse it only very lightly with just a light mist at first, working as the instructions say from the roof down. Work it down gently. A lot more will stick.

    I used this product for the 1st time today after wash and dry using the base coat method on black paint.
    The streaking is absolutely unbelievable.
    Having to use the damp cloth method to remove the streaking on EVERY panel.

    I’m a bit confused. Every other channel that reviewed this product suggests the “spray and rinse” and the “dry assist” methods to be used AFTER a good base coat has been established either by this product or the paste wax.. Essentially as maintenance coats. I’ve watched 8 videos on this and no one is interpreting the label as you are. Every other reviewer says to establish a base and let it cure for 24 hours and then use one of the “quick” methods every couple of months as upkeep.

    • @JamieTheCleaner
      @JamieTheCleaner  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yep that’s correct way to use the product but if someone wanted to just spray and rinse or just use as a drying aid I showed it can be done but definitely for a more long term Sealent it is recommended to establish the base coat 👍

    • @ronnymb67
      @ronnymb67 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I was saying the same thing out loud as I was watching and scrolling through the comments. I used it on my car yesterday, applying two base coats to a dry finish using a microfiber applicator. I bought the car a month and it was only built a month before that so the paint was flawless to start. 24 hours later and the finish feels even more slick. The first time I've used anything Turtle Wax in over 20 years so I have high hopes.

  • @driftracing08

    The best way is wiping it into the paint while it's dry and you get great results and rinsing it off is just lazy and you get bad results and wiping it as you dry is still lazy and as it's get mixed with water it becomes diluted and the protection is weak

But you redeemed yourself by showing the "base" layer method last... Show that first because I initially shook my head that you didn't read the instructions... I've given a thumbs up. @lazyjacket 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@JamieTheCleaner Well it’s kinda derp to start with the wrong methods. If you wanted to test, it would make more sense to test after showing what the product can do if applied as intended? And maybe state that the rinse method is ment to boost the base layer and not as a stand alone method. And the same for the drying aid. But hey, thats my take on it, and i found your take on it, kinda derpy.

    • @JamieTheCleaner

      @@JamieTheCleaner I’m not saying you are wrong to test without the base layer. But it makes more sense to display the baseline for the product first. Then show how the methods works without the base layer. So we have an correct baseline to compare the different applications. Your way is like eating a banana with the peel on and saying the banana tastes bad, and the peel it at saying the banana is yummy in my tummy.
      I know it will take some time to knock down the baselayer and see how the boosting effect will be one applied with drying aid or spray and rinse down.
