    Why I see a lot of people bashing this guy calling him a pervert or bothered by the music and whatever bashing you guys have thrown at him.. I think he's a really good instructor and very clear. Be thankful too coz you were able to bump into this video and learned something... he spent his time and energy to make this video to help beginners like me and this is free! So stop bashing him and move on! This is why I hate people sometimes

      You're right. Weak people bash on youtube as a way to release their anger and feel superior. Strong people keep restraints out of respect...

    • @lokalonez11
      @lokalonez11 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@positivevibe6820 Hahahahaha. Not all people who "bash"(as you call it)are weak. This really is a joke. Only the unexperienced will think this is helpful when this in fact will the slowest way to go into working out. The program makes no sense and will cause no growth on your body. The increase you'd get in 8 weeks of a program like this you can probably get out of a properly made program in 2 weeks maybe less. This is a joke and to support people who don't know what they are talking about is one too. Just putting out a video in hopes of views is what is a wrong with this. Nothing more nothing less. Its people like you who come to "save the day" with your "if you talk about someone you have anger issues or are probably good for nothing" type of replies that reinforce the stupidity put out on TH-cam. I am a weight lifter of 30 years and a trainer for 15 and this is what needs to be taken out of the community. Sorry not sorry.

    I am a beginner at the gym and am lost to all the equipments! Thank you so much for this! Great program and you're a great instructor! People who are commenting about the music and your way talking are seriously the people who don't go to gym and don't appreciate a video's content! Keep it up!

      If you have ever made an effort to lose fat in the past merely to have it keep coming back, I have some good news for you. The Venus Factor is a proven system that helps you lose weight with no gimmicks. I've seen great success, but if you would like to learn more you need to go see this guy's video. He discusses the liver as well as other parts of the body that may affect your ability to lose weight. Go to this web site if you want to know more. WomenWeightMotivation.blogspot.com

    I performed the Beginner's fitness program for the first time yesterday, 3/12/2014, and really enjoyed the workout. It's been months since my last visit to the gym and once again got the jitters at looking at all the equipment so your program really put me back into focus. I did change the treadmill circuit; I started at your pace of 3.2 and incline of 5 for 5 minutes; raised the incline to 7 for 6 minutes; raised the speed to 3.7 at the same incline 7 for 5 minutes; decreased the incline back to 5 for 3 minutes; then decreased the speed back to 3.2 for the remaining 1 minute; completed the 20 minutes but stood on the treadmill for a 2 minute cool down at a pace of 2.7 and incline of 3. I like the way you train, you are very thorough and your tone of voice is soothing and clear to understand for those who don't want to be screamed at by a douche bag muscle head at the gym. Woke up today with a good feeling of muscle soreness. Can't wait to get back to the gym and perform your program again! I actually looked like I knew what I was doing at the gym! One question, how many times a week in the next 8 weeks should I be incorporating this program for??? Thanks!

    First rule, you do NOT stretch cold muscles!!! You should warm up muscles like running, bike,Jumping jacks, something to warm up the body. But do NOT stretch muscles that are still cold.

      When you're stretching before workout, you should stretch the muscle max.10s, not 30s. You should also warm up before stretching. These are basic things.

    Dude gave good workouts for people that do not know how to at all. Very well explained for beginners. I took some ideas from this and worked them into my gfs workout. One thing i disagree with is you shouldn't do this for 8 weeks. Maximum 4 months.. and after 2 weeks u should be having heavier weight

    The lat pull down doesn't just work on her back, and in proper terms would be latissimus dorsi which reaches all the way to her glutes, the teres major and the sternal portion of the pectoralis major. Which many people wouldn't know.

    Static stretching, pre workout??

  • @jamesmiller6217
    @jamesmiller6217 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    Questions: Why do static stretching instead of dynamic movements for a warm up? Why not teach them to do more full body movements with free weights that include core stabilization, balance, posture corrections and proper body movements instead of using machines which only work one body part at a time? Why no rotational exercises? why no ab exercises? I'm not saying that this routine is bad, but for beginner exercises I'd do basic abs, hay bailers, basic squat , face pulls, lat pull downs with cables, basic lunges, pushing and pulling exercises that include for full body dynamics etc etc. Why are these the "go to" exercises?

  • @willtheman840
    @willtheman840 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    Great looking gym. Other than that ... Some good instruction on much of the movements, but remember there are different views about some of them. Consider other sources also. Also, I know a young fit woman can demonstrate programs, and often are personal trainers, but it is still a little awkward calling this a beginner program. In fact, many women I have seen would not have been able to do these movements in their early workout months. Stretching? When I was young, the practice was not to stretch before a workout, but to warm up doing very light movements of the exercises in your program. Stretching, if done correctly is probably OK, before a workout, but there is a concept called active stretching, sort of like my earlier practice. Summing it up. One fair source of info, but consult others, of which some I think are certainly better.

    The body makes energy (ATP) mainly from carbohydrates, but when the storage of carbohydrates are used up the energy is made from lipids/fats (and in cases of starvation the body will turn to proteins as the final source to make energy). Usually the carbohydrates will be used up during the night and that is why many think that working out before breakfast will burn more fat... This is true in theory, but whether the long-term gain in training is effective is discussed quite a lot I believe.

    Stretching is brilliant post-workout when your muscles are warm but I have heard from many sources not to static stretch cold muscles. Please could you explain?
    Also I have been told frequently that you breathe in when taking things away from your body and breathe out as the machine/your limbs come back into your body. You say to do the opposite. Does it matter or is regular breathing the important part?

    Shouldnt we stretch the muscles after they are warmed up and pumped to avoid injuries and avoid weaker muscles before the workout? I think we should only warm up before the workout to prepare the muscle and push more blood in it but strech? Why?

    To prevent injury, you should do a light jog to get your body warmed up. You should NOT stretch with a cold muscle. Doing so, will do your body harm. Ideally, one should stretch AFTER a good workout.

      No. I just depends on you and your goals. Some people may only have to work out 2 or 3 days and others 5 or so. I recommend at the very least 3.

    I'm confused. You said 5 stretches but she only did 2. You did exercise 1 and skipped to exercise 3!!?

    So much to critic and I’m only a few minutes in to the video. Static stretching pre workout is a NoNo. Why 15 reps why not 14 or 16, How do I select the weight ?
    Why Latt first then triceps (pull moves activate Biceps so surly back and biceps make actual sense.
    The concept fine but the newbie is probably no more educated then before the video.
    It’s a beginner program so why weighted squats with a leg raise, should we teach the squat first then progress as we get confident ?
    8 weeks with 5 movements and no pushing at all, not sure about this.

    I have a Diploma with distinction with the open college in Birmingham, UK. It's not right to stretch cold, you should have warmed up for at least five minutes so the muscles can later adapt to stretching. People will get hurt watching your video. You must correct this in your description. I never stretch out cold. Not everybody is fit, you are using a perfect model. People want to see someone not so perfect and see the changes later. It's like seeing a 20 year old model selling youth to a 50 year old. You have to be realistic taking into account people's personal circumstances and health problems. No wonder most gyms are empty. People don't feel confident going to get fit. That's the point to go into a gym, get members from all walks of life.

    Hello, I love your beginner workout video. I am wondering because my time is limited in the morning could this work-out be completed in less than 45 mins or less?

    Why morning before you eat? Don't you need to eat 1 to 2 hours before your work out so you can have the carbs for energy and the protein for muscle growth and strength?
