In my opinion The Tap Dancing Man is one of the scariest, most sinister, and disturbing characters created in modern times. The creators of this character and actor portraying him should honestly win some awards and deserve serious recognition.
Yah especially the scene where he enters the stage at the business party and it’s just silent and no special shot just completely not what you were expecting

Man, this scene is just brilliant, from the way it sets you up for something to be wrong with the main character glancing towards seemingly nothing to his exaggerated laughter at the television that introduces tap-dance man audibly through his laughter before you actually see him. How when TDM laughs he opens his mouth so wide you can see all his teeth, and then the show of connection between him and the main character with the exchange of the beer which tap-dance man doesn't really drink so much as drain hungrily, after which the tone of his voice gets lower before starting his iconic chanting of "whatcha gone do". It's really well done and gives you that same malevolent vibe you get from the ghosts of hotel in The Shining or the denizens of the black lodge in Twin Peaks.

I never noticed it till now but his eyes are pitch black. Like a cartoons. Spindly arms, paunchy body. The black face. Who ever portrayed him really just tapped into the darkness
Everything about TDM is a taunt. Feom the way he drinks the beer to removing his hat in address. Pretty well done. Check out the Mr Purnsley jail scene from Boardwalk Empire. Just a great job using the language of the time ( but everything about that show was amazing).
Wow! When 🤔 he looked over and no one was in the room , the television was still on, unbelievable a challenging scene , insightful scary then a exchange of dialog with a 🍸 drink passed, wow whatcha gone do..
It's his subconscious guilt personality. If you noticed in the show he only appears to him whenever he is triggered and feels helpless and or pushed to the edge. Henry has not healed from past trauma or faced his shadow which is why Tap Dancing Man mocks him..
They were trying to show the viewers what many black men go through. The fact that because of the results of lynching, etc., they were unable to defend their women and children when racist white people would attack them. So because of this, it made them feel like less of a man. So they use the tap dance man to symbolize their egos. The “you gonna take that? What you gon do about it? Go show them who the real boss is you ain’t no punk.” Because they couldn’t defend themselves or those they loved, their ego tells them to assert their manhood with retaliated violence.
In my opinion The Tap Dancing Man is one of the scariest, most sinister, and disturbing characters created in modern times. The creators of this character and actor portraying him should honestly win some awards and deserve serious recognition.

one of the most terrifying modern horror characters
I want a movie just about the tap dance man
Is it wrong to say that the tap dance man is my favorite character
Definitely not, he's a very well crafted and performed horror villain. Absolutely favorite character material
@@gagegunner_ thank you

He's the mascot
STILL SCARES ME TO THIS DAY!
Bro black face and white face always looked creepy and they made a racist demon hybrid of the 2... genius and very creepy

Tap Dance Man - Best character in the entire series.
The Tap Dance Man Is Amazing Dude 👏🏽🖤🖤👍🏽
“whatcha gone dOoooOo” 😂
As a tap dancer, I QUIT 😳
I never noticed it till now but his eyes are pitch black. Like a cartoons. Spindly arms, paunchy body. The black face. Who ever portrayed him really just tapped into the darkness
He is the emotion of anger incarnate
His teeth and eyes scare me in a primal way.
🎶🎶Whatcha gon do? Whatcha gon do? 🎶🎶
Everything about TDM is a taunt.
Feom the way he drinks the beer to removing his hat in address.
Pretty well done.
Check out the Mr Purnsley jail scene from Boardwalk Empire. Just a great job using the language of the time ( but everything about that show was amazing).
2:04 nightmare fuel
This guy killed it with this role. They found their Bill Skarsgard

Is like penny wise and the joker in a move. Great acting
Wow! When 🤔 he looked over and no one was in the room , the television was still on, unbelievable a challenging scene , insightful scary then a exchange of dialog with a 🍸 drink passed, wow whatcha gone do..
The saying that comes to mind when my wife is mad at me before she even talks while entering the room 3:02 😅
Scares me to death
Why does “Da Tap Dance Man” torment him so much...
It's his subconscious guilt personality.
If you noticed in the show he only appears to him whenever he is triggered and feels helpless and or pushed to the edge. Henry has not healed from past trauma or faced his shadow which is why Tap Dancing Man mocks him..
It's because of the movie he saw on the theater the day his son dies, Wich is the subconscious guilt of not defending his wife.
All the ghost were manifestations of the devil
