Respect man, you sold me half way through the video telling telling the story, there’s no anime that’s made me feel like Clannad, I’ve been meaning to rewatch it but man it’s tough, especially ever since the studio that created it passed . May they Rest In Peace for giving me the greatest anime experience I’ve ever had, for making me go through life in the span of only 49 episodes .
i admire you for your perfect comprehension of the series, though do you truly believe in the power of family to transcend uncertainty, because i certainly dont. i mean no disrespect.
that's the great thing about recommending this anime to people. I remember 9 or 10 years ago being on an avatar the last airbender forum and a buddy of mine had an anime review thread going and he recommended clannad and I had previously seen kanon so I was kinda prepared for what clannad had to offer. Then I found out about after story which nobody else had seen yet and binged every episode after nagisa's death. I went OFF on everyone in that thread telling them they HAD to watch it. A lot of the reviews for the first season were decent, some mediocre. The highschool drama didn't resonate too much with the older members but I knew that once they got into after story it was gonna mess them up. The graduation from youth to adulthood with the new stresses and worries that come with it is something that few shows ever do and do as fantastically as clannad and it's thanks to the first season showing our characters learn and grow and experience life that their later struggles are so much more impactful. I had so many people messaging me over the coming days and weeks telling me they sobbed themselves to sleep.
This video was great, it stinks getting into the mood to watch Clannad, watching 20 hours of the anime, and hoping on TH-cam only to find no videos of anyone talking about it
The four horsemen of me crying : - ushio crying about her first gifts - tomoya confronting his dad about his life and daughter - nagisa's and ushio's death - that blond guy protecting his sister
Dude honestly ... like I’m here with my family and I was one moment away from balling my eyes out , this was the first anime that made me feel like it was ok to cry.
To all those people saying you can't die of heartbreak well he also died from dehydration. If you look closely you see empty water bottles and trash bags piled near the door along with other things. So he probably never left her side for a while and forgot to take care of himself.
@@qqn4531 i always kinda thought that he didn't die instantly but that he no longer had a reason to live since he no longer had a family so he laid down with Ushio and died of hypothermia
@@trainedinkarate7778 I’m studying medicine and I can assure you that under circumstances of high emotional stress your heart structure can change and you can day for an heart attack.
I'm kinda pissed that people overhype your name or calling Your Lie in April the saddest anime ever. They've never seen Clannad & Clannad: Afterstory. This anime till this is day is still the saddest anime ever created even surpassing hotaru no haka.
yeah i actually dont like Your Lie in April it wasnt well executed and a bunch of personal bias from my tastes But i do love Your Name though mostly for the well told story animation and characters
@@BillPlunderbonesTew8 The reason you like Your Name is probably because of the pretty animation, pretty colors and the good soundtrack by radwimps, as a story though it's not as well written as you might think. It's a typical main characters switching bodies with countless plot holes, characters who are blunt lack depth and don't get any development. Though I'm not holding it agaisnt Shinkai since he himself said he didn't like the result and would like to have more time to finish it.
Well after watching this and your lie in April I think April is sader bec he doesn't get a second chance and she dies and she's dead and it heartbreaking but in this he gets a second chance and lives happy
This anime literally changed my life. As I was becoming an adult 9 years ago (age 17), I fortunately came across this anime by accidentally watching the scene where Yusuke and his band was having a gig when someone in a net cafe was streaming it. I quickly memorized the title and thought it was a cool band anime. I even watched the first 10 episodes of Clannad afterstory before realizing that there was a first season. I remember fondly that I loved every character and the stories that went with them. The jokes never failed to make me laugh. As a teen , I was able to understand a bit about what life is especially in after story. After watching this anime, for the first time in my life, I realized I only wanted to live a simple life with a family of my own and just be happy. To this day, this anime has become somewhat of a compass of my life. And I am really getting excited as I will be proposing to my girlfriend soon. 😊
Clannad and Clannad: After Story is not just an Anime, it is Masterpeice, it is a mirror of our lives, it is a teacher to us. I taught from Clannad so much and it changed me also i feel like it. Now i know the importance of friendship, the importance of being father, the importance of being good child, the importance of being a Big Dango Family. And Kaze Talks this video is a masterpiece too also thank you
Thank you! 🙏 It’s really great to know that the video resonated with people. And for sure, this anime is truly timeless. To this day, I still learn so much from it.
"It's not just anime at its best, it's filmmaking at its finest." This sentence alone describes how powerful Clannad is and makes me remember why I really love this series!
This is one of the rare shows that for me, achieves true 'work of art' status. I was kinda lukewarm on season 1 as a whole, having already seen kanon and air beforehand and just kinda getting more of the same from clannad. Then season 2 comes around and pushes the story PAST high school (a rare thing indeed) and I started getting really interested. Nagisa's death, while sad, wasn't unexpected for me. I think what really got to me was seeing how Tomoya treated Ushio afterwards, culminating in his realization that he'd basically become his dad in all the ways he hated. I can't really explain it, but those are themes and story elements that are dealt with a maturity that I don't see in many other shows, and that puts it in a special category in my opinion.
Completely agree. It’s really good character development. Those are the core themes for sure and one of the main reasons why they elevate the show as a whole.
Finally, someone who mentions Kanon and Air. People always compare Clannad to Anohana or YLIA but it's the combination of Kanon and Air as all three of them were made by the same animation (KyoAni) and game (Key) studio.
The dub hits me harder "Sanae said, i can only cry in the bathroom... or when im in daddy's arms." ..fuck me i just choked up for a split second typing that lol
The whole story with Tomoya's father is such a deep one after you finish the show and rewatch it. The man met the love of his life, worked hard for his family, lost his wife, and fell into despair. Started drinking too much, gambling in hopes of making extra money, and just ended up on a downward spiral until eventually he gets drunk one night and fights his preteen son, and fucks up his shoulder. After that, the man just completely breaks, realizing what hes done to his only son, and spirals even further. Turning all his feelings inward on himself. watching the show, you see that Tomoya is angry at his father for being so distant and "cold" to him. "Why do you always treat me like some kind of stranger!?" Assuming his father simply doesnt care about him anymore, or even see him as a son at all. But on your second viewing, you realize his father does love him, and also believes he is the worst thing to ever happen to his own son, and that hes no good for him, especially as a father. Which is why he is so passive when Tomoya leaves to live with the Furukawas. Because in his eyes, anyone is better for his son than him. But after his son leaves, hes also dragged down by the pain that he not only lost his wife, but his own actions caused him to lose his job, his respect, his health, and his only child. Until later, he winds up arrested, and even that ends up greatly impacting his son negatively. Its not until Afterstory, that Tomoya marries Nagisa, they begin to start a family, and he wants to step forward and be better than his father was, that the full story comes around to hit you in the gut. Tomoya loses Nagisa, the love of his life, and he spirals into a depression. Starts smoking, starts drinking, gave up his daughter to her grandparents, and begins to turn his feelings inward on himself. Because in his eyes, Ushio is better with her grandparents than him. Mirroring his own father. But where his Father did the best he could to raise Tomoya, and even held his own in the first few years, coming home in his breaks to give his son sweets; Tomoya gives up Ushio immediately and spirals like his dad a lot sooner. And when Tomoya speaks with his grandmother in the country, he learns exactly what his father went through, from her. Understanding it all, not as the son his father failed, but as a fellow father going through the exact same tragedy, and seeing all the pieces slot together in his head. His final reunion with his father, tomoya as an adult and father himself, cries openly in empathy for what his father went through. While Tomoya's father comforts him for the first time since Tomoya was a small child. In the words of George Lucas, "Its like poetry, it rhymes."
This show made me cry gallons from the moment Nagisa died until the end (I binged all those episodes in a row as I am home recovering from back problems). I cried so much my entire jaw hurt and I had a splitting headache for about 12 hours and couldn't even think about the show without getting misty eyed. I've never experienced anything like it...I hardly ever cry. I am divorced w/ no kids and thought I will just live alone forever but this show has me thinking maybe I want to try again. Now I can't even hear the Dango jingle without crying.
Clannad After Story is really powerful and enlightening. I’m glad that after everything you went through, this show was able to make you look towards your future in a more hopeful light. I hope everything goes well for you 🙂
@@tiegideon9816 I urge you reconsider. I've watched the anime at least 3 times already. (I never rewatch anime) and each time I still tear up, but the story is absolutely beautiful
Light orbs appear whenever a person is happy because of another person's doings, and they can grant a person's wish if it's genuinely wanted. When Tomoya said that he should have never talked to Nagisa because he thought that it was his fault that she died. That was a wish, but it wasn't from his heart, so when he meets Nagisa again, he hesitates at first but then admits that she was the best thing to happen in his life and that it was definitely worth talking to her. That is why Ushio's light orb ignored his first wish and made the second one come true, where Nagisa survives during labor.
Couldn’t have said it better myself. I’ve been wanting to make a video about Clannad but I can never properly put it into words just how perfect and beautiful this anime is. Thank you for this video, you’ve earned yourself a sub as well. This is perfect.
Thanks! This was hard for me to do. Had to write and re-write a lot to get all of my feelings clear. Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for the sub! I checked your channel and saw some of your vids too. Subbed as well.
All my encounters with Clannad: 2013 summer: first time, cried the shit out of my self in bed. 2013 a month later just to see how hard it was to watch: cried the shit out of my self again. 2015 fall trying to test my self and the show: cried the shit out of my self again 2020 spring got bored of self quarantine: cried the shit out of my self..
Finished watching all of Clannad yesterday. I have to say that the first season, when you are first watching it is simply a quite tame/mild dive into high school. I have to say that it could be VERY difficult to watch, especially for younger audiences that havent gone through the high school experience. But it's all a massive foreshadowing of the tragedy that becomes Clannad ~After Story~. Clannad After Story not only shows you the harsh reality of adult hood, but the abandonment of dynamic, round characters that were friends with Tomoya. That's what hit me the hardest. The realization that your friends in high school wont be with you everyday anymore, and its eye opening to realize the harsh reality of this motif. Life with all your friends may never last: different paths may lead best friends apart. Great Video man, and love this anime. Has such great themes and messages throughout the story, and also shares a romantical comedic side to it also.
Whenever I feel low or lonely in my life I come back just to watch clannad. This helps me. I cannot put this into words but clannad just clears my head. Damn it was the first series that made me cry 😭
Clannad is the first anime that can make me cry a river. That scene where Tomoya finally take care of his dad and convice him to go home where Tomoya's grandmother waits crushed me the most. I have a bad relationship with my dad and watching that scene, it was like a huge slap for me that i should be close with him more rather than i spent most of my time with my friends. I'm strongly agree about your point that then anime itself tells you about how important your family is as a human and we're going to face the up and down of life. Anyway great video and you got sub! Keep up the good work!
Thanks! I agree, anime is really expressive, you can really tell what the characters are feeling just by looking at them. Japanese animators are truly amazing, especially regarding really small details. Glad you enjoyed the video!
Awesome video. Good job! Clannad is the only anime I truly love and keep near and dear to me. Sadly I came across this anime during a pretty hard time in my life and tried holding it all in but this anime broke me and made me let it all out. Depression, a lot of crying was in full swing. But I am thankful I found this anime it helped me get through my dark time. Clannad is certainly the one anime everyone from kids to adults to the elderly should watch both seasons at least once in their life regardless of language. Dubbed or subbed they both wonderful.
TheLoveableMew Yeah, I can understand. This is one of the shows where we think and re-think about life in a way we had never done before. I'm really glad you enjoyed the video and it's great to know that the show helped you get through a rough time. And I agree, this anime is a must watch for everyone at least once. Really appreciate the comment, thanks! All the best.
I cried my eyes out just watching this video, a true testimony to how good this series is. as a side note, I don't know how many know this but Clannad is actually Gaelic for family.
I finished Clannad Afterstory yesterday. Honestly I don't care if it sounds cliché, but this is the best thing I have ever seen in any form of media. It honestly changed my point of view on life. Also amazing video keep up the good work. You deserve way more recognition!
To be honest, when a close friend of mine suggested me this anime I didnt know what to expect after watching this series it changed my life. I was 14 when I watched this series didnt have a single plan for my future but after having to experience this masterpiece it changed my life. How life can be upredictable and how unsure we are but having to deal with it head on. The feeling of having to keep doing your best no matter how terrible your experiences are, and most importantly not losing yourself along the way. my realizations after this made me want to change my life for the best to commit no matter how unsure the things may seem everybody loses at life you just gotta learn how to pick your self up everytime. Its a journey that you should be willing to grab and protect what is important to you. Right now I im 20 and I will be proposing to my girlfriend very soon and I hope we become one big dango family. Clannad was and will always be the best thing that ever happened to me.
The Editing combined with your view on key moments, really made me go through the whole story in my head. It's hard to express how much this show has impacted me. Thanks for this video.
I cannot believe you don't have 1 million subscribers or more. The editing, the script and the overall video you made is absolutely beautiful. You captured all the elements that made Clannad the anime we all know and love. I'm really happy I found this channel. I may be months late but I'm sticking here for a very long time. :)
Both seasons of Clannad is my favorite anime ever. The characters, story, music, animation, pacing, everything about the anime is beautiful and makes me cry my eyes out no matter how many times i see it. I have such a strong emotional connection to the series that no other anime has made me feel before or since. The Clannad series is a one of a kind story and im so happy it is loved by the anime community just as much as i love it.
Clannad (specifically afterstory) still, and always will be the greatest anime of all time. I really do believe that every human on this planet should watch this anime.
Happy Valentine's Day. I love Clannad After Story to absolute death, it really is one of those things you wish you could experience for the first time over and over again. This was the first story in any medium let alone anime to make my tears well up beyond the point of simply being misty-eyed, and thus made me realize that my heart wasn't made of stone (as cheesy as that sounds). You really did this anime justice with this video, and I thank you for that
And I thank you for your comment. Clannad After Story is one of the very few that did that make me cry, for sure. It really is able to strike an emotional chord with us. May you too have a Happy Valentine's Day.
@@KazeTalksI haven't cried watching anything that I can recall. But episode 18 of Clannad:AS got my eyes watery I consider it the best episode in anime history.
I first watched Clannad and Afterstory when I was in high school at 17 back in the autumn/winter of 2012 and I teared up a few times (only time I've ever even teared up watching a movie/anime). I recently re-watched the show a few months back now that I'm 25 (Spring 2021) - I just suddenly got the urge after randomly seeing the Dango Daikazoku song on TH-cam. Not only did I realise that the first season of Clannad was much better than I remembered it, but this time I cried for a few minutes twice whilst watching Afterstory. Even though I was 8-9 years older and I knew what was going to happen, it just hit me harder. I guess it's because as I've grown older and matured I've realised the value of family and how much more heart-breaking losing a family member is. I barely watch anime anymore, but I'll always have a special place for Clannad and Afterstory.
Came back to this video to experience the feelings all over again. Clannad is my favorite anime of all time, and I thank you for making such a beautiful video that ill see once more 10 years from now 🤝
i just finished clannad after story today this is what i have to say: i think its my new favorite anime. its a literal masterpiece. i was sobbing watching it. i love how it showed problems that we go through in real life. all the characters were loveable. everything was perfect.
This was my first ever anime. I rewatched it so many times. Just typing this makes me kinda tear up. The characters have so much development. And in the end it will be one of the old time favorites
I just recently finished the anime and I don't cry easily but I cried so much over this anime. I'm happy that I get to watch an anime like that with a profound life lesson to all of us. It broke my heart but it also reminded me of a valuable lesson. Your video was amazing. I loved your use of vocabulary, perfect to convey the feelings and innermost thoughts of the characters. Great observation and explanation. Keep up the great work!
I think that you nailed all the important points of the main narrative (and the main storyline) of Clannad. This anime had such a profound impact on me and many others that will last for the years to come.
Thank you, I just finished this anime and wanted to connect with others who understood it to be a staggering masterpiece in human storytelling with no caveats or categories. Top notch powerful storytelling reaching across cultures, languages, and medium to deliver poignant messages about life, meaning, suffering, and being a good person.
Thank you for such an amazing video diving into this anime, it is one of my favorites and one that is still impossible to watch without crying my eyes out, you're awesome
Raquel Diaz Wow, thanks! I'm really glad you enjoyed it. And I agree. In fact, it's even harder to watch the second time, because you know what's coming. Such a brilliant Anime.
You know how much Clannad is impactful when you've seen it like 3 or 4 times, completed the game, and you still manage to have tears just by watching this review here.
Watched this show in 2nd grade when I was 7, It literally made me rethink my relationship with my parents and made me think about how fucked up my current situation was, but also reminded me that I’ll always love them. Crazy ass shit man.
12:15 Can't you see the lights? Those are the power of all the happy emotions you helped create. The power of all the wishes you granted has come together to grant yours.
This is one of the best works of anime. It's so beautifully done that it makes you happy yet you feel like crying every time. Even though these are all characters, and animated too for that matter, each scene sinks deep in the heart when you think about Nagisas death, yet the heart rises up from the ashes when you think how pure was Tomoya's and Nagisa's love. It makes me cry, sometimes happily sometimes sadly when I look at ushios eyes, which are just like nagisas. Pure love ♡ no intimacy and wild scenes, just the purity in the heart.
I just came across this video after listening to the Dango song, I watched Clannad when I was probably 11 or 12 so about 9 or 10 years ago. I remember crying all day when I watched after story because it was such a tragedy and then everything working out in the end sent me into another crying fit. I have always recommended this anime to anyone that wants to watch because it truly is a masterpiece. I will never not cry hearing the Dango song or even seeing a photo or clip of Clannad. I don't think I will ever do a rewatch of because of this. This story will always bring out such intense emotions from me because when I watched it, it felt like I was experiencing those moments with the characters themselves . You explained it perfectly what this anime represented. Amazing video. I'm gonna go cry again now lol.
Fantastic review. Thank you for portraying the most beautiful story I had the honor of witnessing in such a perfect and accurate way. Some people say that watching anime means escaping reality. But as you said perfectly, clannad is not about escaping reality. It's about excepting reality. A reality that can be harsh at times but when you try to be a genuinely good person it will give you the happiness you deserve. A wonderful message from the only anime that imo deserves the title of masterpiece. One story so beautiful that it will follow me for the rest of my life. And again thank you for sharing your love for this anime with all of us and explaining the origin of Clannad's beauty. Yours truly, A fellow member of the big dango family
I'm from Brazil, and I saw so manny vídeos about clannad, from my language and yours. And this is the best vídeo. For sure. Amazing How you describe and put your and animes feelings.
Back in high school, I used to make fun of my friends who would watch anime because I always thought they were just cartoons and who could ever really learn anything from watching cartoons, right? Fast forward into my college years, I finally caved in and watched my first ever anime, Clannad and Clannad After Story after remembering that was all my friends were talking about in high school. Yes, Clannad was a bit slow to pick up at first, but I didn't have much expectations. I only continued watching it as if to prove myself right--that it would be a waste of time. But it wasn't. The music, the visuals, and the overall storytelling got me hooked. And once I reached Clannad Afterstory, it was a whole different emotion. I can't ever say that I can look at the true value of family and life the same way after that. No other anime has left such an impact in my life and no other song (Dango daikazuko) can bring such a nostalgic feeling 5+ years from when you last heard it. Clannad Afterstory is definitely an influential masterpiece. And it sort of sucks that Clannad was my first anime because it set the bar so high that I can't even compare it to anything else.
totally know how you feel, sometimes i wish i never watched it because now the bar is so high for entertainment in general. after story is a true masterpiece
At the end of my video, I list all of the music used. They should all be on Spotify. They also have Bandcamp where you can support them on there. And they have quite a big following on TH-cam too. You should also check out the TH-cam channel NewRetroWave which is where I got to know these bands in the first place.
Just finished Clannad and it got me screwed, really teared up which makes it one of the few animes I have enjoyed and even cried to. Since it's also one of my first few romance genres anime. I enjoyed this anime and didn't expect this anime to be like that. The comments itself is making me want to cry because I remember all the moments and how this anime itself is teaching us about life and reality. Glad that I found this anime somehow I definitely do not regret watching it and it really has changed my expectations in finding these types of anime. Thank you Jun Maeda & Kyoto Animation Studio! Masterpiece indeed thank you.
The game and the anime are both amazing, but I can't play the game or watch the anime without falling into pieces and start crying. Also Dango family is heart breaking and beautiful.
It's so hard to contain all of the emotions. So poignant in how it conveys its messages and themes. And I agree. The Dango theme is heartbreaking. The show is brilliant.
I absolutely ADORE this show, by far the most impactful and emotional anime I have seen to date, as someone whose experienced similar loss myself this show is a masterpiece. I think you did an awesome job portraying it and its beauty. P.S. the OVAS are dumb and only go to show how Nagisa is the only true arc :p
This series is put simply, one of the most precious pieces of literature and fiction to be ever put out to the masses, and I can't thank both Jun Maeda from Key and the staff from Kyoto Animation from bringing it to life in the best fashion possible. Clannad is the quintessential series about the values of family, and splendors of life.
I literally cried at the end of ur video. I watched many videos about theory of clannad’s ending coz its too heartbreaking for me and i don’t understand em all. But yours, it is simple , direct and yet moving. Now im good really really good. Life goes on!
Thanks, bro I just finished Clannad after story and I loved ur video on it, it was as if someone finally put the scattered thoughts in my head in the form of a video
Man I spent half of this video crying. You’d think it would get easier after a while but it never does get any easier. You did an amazing job with the video
Thank you! That really means a lot. And yeah, it doesn’t get easier. But that’s okay. There are things that are supposed to be this hard. It’s why I love this show.
Funny enough, I always considered Code Geass and Clannad my two favorite anime. But having rewatched both a few years later, I think Clannad is my #1 now! Things hit differently as an adult and it's the only anime to make me really think about how I live my life. This show is amazing.
Well Done my Man! This was a really good and nice way of explaining the powerful message of the anime. This immediately became my number one favorite anime when I first watched it. And have seen it all from start to finish about 4 times, every couple of years or so.
This was one of the hardest videos to do, but also one of the most satisfying. After analysing Your Name, I had to dive deep down in why I love this anime so much.

that's the great thing about recommending this anime to people.

To all those people saying you can't die of heartbreak well he also died from dehydration. If you look closely you see empty water bottles and trash bags piled near the door along with other things. So he probably never left her side for a while and forgot to take care of himself.
And from malnutrition and fatigue

I'm kinda pissed that people overhype your name or calling Your Lie in April the saddest anime ever. They've never seen Clannad & Clannad: Afterstory. This anime till this is day is still the saddest anime ever created even surpassing hotaru no haka.
Clannad is the best drama anime tbh. Deeply underappreciated outside Japan.
@@kioftouch you're kidding right? clannad is easily one of the most popular anime out there.
yeah i actually dont like Your Lie in April it wasnt well executed and a bunch of personal bias from my tastes
But i do love Your Name though mostly for the well told story animation and characters
That’s a great story, thanks for sharing. Hope everything goes well with your proposal!

@@KazeTalks yeah you are truly right. Thanks again for this video 💜
"It's not just anime at its best, it's filmmaking at its finest."
This sentence alone describes how powerful Clannad is and makes me remember why I really love this series!
Sanae said
You can only cry in bathroom or in your father's shoulder scene always makes me cry😭😭
The dub hits me harder
"Sanae said, i can only cry in the bathroom... or when im in daddy's arms."
..fuck me i just choked up for a split second typing that lol
I hope everything goes well for you 🙂
@@KazeTalks Thank you so much!

@@tiegideon9816 I urge you reconsider. I've watched the anime at least 3 times already. (I never rewatch anime) and each time I still tear up, but the story is absolutely beautiful
The way you told this story hit so hard. Thank you for guiding me through why I loved Clannad so much.
Thanks! I’m glad you enjoyed my video 🙂
All my encounters with Clannad:
2013 summer: first time, cried the shit out of my self in bed.
2013 a month later just to see how hard it was to watch: cried the shit out of my self again.
2015 fall trying to test my self and the show: cried the shit out of my self again
2020 spring got bored of self quarantine: cried the shit out of my self..
It’s that good
It is. I even cried more the 2nd time I watched it. Knowing about what happens doesn’t necessarily make it easier to watch...
You're just like me 🤣🤣😂😂😢😢😭😭
Finished watching all of Clannad yesterday.
The editing is amazing! Agree completely. Anime is able to enact emotions in a way that live action can't.
After story is amazing.

I actually couldn't contain the tears. Probably the most I've ever cried (and I don't normally cry when watching a film or a show).
@@KazeTalksI haven't cried watching anything that I can recall. But episode 18 of Clannad:AS got my eyes watery I consider it the best episode in anime history.

@@KazeTalks Agreed.

Your video is great! It captures really well the essence of this amazing heart-breaking anime. It made me feel emotional again.
Filipa Costa Thanks! 😊

Totally feel you.
I’ve never been so thankful for an ad break during a middle of a video. Pain.

You should also check out the TH-cam channel NewRetroWave which is where I got to know these bands in the first place.
This anime is so emotional. Everything about it is so happy, but sad at the same time. Its hard to explain. But that anime deserves a fucking oscar
Just finished Clannad and it got me screwed, really teared up which makes it one of the few animes I have enjoyed and even cried to. Since it's also one of my first few romance genres anime. I enjoyed this anime and didn't expect this anime to be like that.
@@KazeTalks I might be a masochist because I'd sing along with the Dango song and tear up while doing it. It conjures complex emotions for sure.

Funny enough, I always considered Code Geass and Clannad my two favorite anime. But having rewatched both a few years later, I think Clannad is my #1 now! Things hit differently as an adult and it's the only anime to make me really think about how I live my life. This show is amazing.
Code geass was a tear jerker as well xD
@@harrellt1405clannad probably did it better
@@Jollingo oh definitely. Im just saying code geass had many tear jerking moments like when nina humped the tablr
i don’t have words to describe how you portrayed this anime and all of its meaning in the video it was truly a beautiful way to put it great job!
Dude! This is an amazing video!
Thank you! It means a lot 🙂
Well Done my Man! This was a really good and nice way of explaining the powerful message of the anime. This immediately became my number one favorite anime when I first watched it. And have seen it all from start to finish about 4 times, every couple of years or so.
Thank you! 🙏
