I am always amazed by Canadian cities and towns - so clean and safe. Hardly any gun battles going down the street and hardly anybody being yanked from their cars and beaten mercilessly. People aren't shot while walking their dogs or working at convenience markets. And the people seem so articulate and educated! Canadians don't grunt, scream gibberish, or dance around in intersections. Amazing.

Great video. Production values are getting real good as these go on! I’d love to see a similar list for inner city specifically, I.e. best bang for your buck near downtown. Or best neighborhoods of the era, I.e. ‘best pre WW2 neighborhood’ and ‘best turn of century’ and ‘best new’

Yes we were looking into Auburn Bay as we live in a community close by and would be an easy transition but wow Auburn Bay is a nightmare and Mahogany is even worse. There also are no meat and potato amenities in either community you have drive a ways to get to any and definitely not walk friendly. Both seem over rated to me. The planner who developed those communities really dropped the ball. They both feel like complicated labyrinths you may get lost in lol and walking paths suck.

I’ve lived in Panorama hills literally since houses started being built here. 3rd house in our culdesac.
After living in these northern communities I can’t stand them anymore and I miss the older communities like penbrook.
It’s really depressing not having the large tress of the older communities and like 90% of the neighborhood feels like a rat race where everything is the same.
We don’t even have normal basketball courts in our communities anymore it’s all just 1 single hoop half courts or weird circle courts with a triple hoop in the middle -.- parks are so spread apart from each and just themselves in terms of what’s on the play ground.
You don’t get that giant grand park feeling that all the old elementary schools had.
    Safe? Sure.
    Hidden gem? Eh.
Disconnected/bad walk ability? 100% unless you just want to walk 5-7 blocks before you even seen another field that has pretty nothing on it.

Well, it is kinda obvious that you trying to sell Mahogany, however, this is certainly not the best community for families - any decent sport and/or social clubs ? NO, people have to drive all the way up to NW or to the older and established communities like aforementioned Lake Bonavista. The only reason you put these newer communities to the top spots - because you are selling properties in those communities.

Sorry to say but you are biased towards Southeast/ South bcoz you live there and you know better about these communities. You kind of make subtle fun of any communities that is not near Fish Creek Park/ Lake which I find stupid. You are not making this video for your home but your clients - they could have different preferences feeling home (immigrants), cultures, religious places, inclusiveness (not just white communities), foods, hills, convenience to industrial area, students, LRT transportation, inner city life, vibrant but messy life etcs. rather then depressed secluded life in big home and have a dog to get rid of depression - other than just walking in dead park and frozen lake with a dog. When your brokers do not agree for example even then you are not open to ideas and still making fun. I like your videos and watch regularly appreciate your honesty but unfortunately I observed this a lot of time.
