The sig x Carry is my favorite pistol of all time. Basically a smaller x5. The flat trigger, the ergos, the capacity, and the sights and the beauty of the pistol! I carry it as well. It’s not too bad and when I go OWB, it’s even better. Sig x carry and p365 are my two fav pistols right now. Alternate between the two. For more concealment I’ll run 365. If it doesn’t matter I go xcarry. 2000 rounds through mine. Not one malfunction yet.
Love my X-Carry! It’s a great shooting firearm....mine came with 3 17 round mags, and the Romeo 1 brand new for $689...the big point you’re missing you can swap that grip module with the compact X frame and be ready to go with 15 plus one. Change the frame back for 17 plus one for winter carry

I've recently bought the X-compact (15 rd mag size) and love shooting it. I think the X-compact is a Glock Killer. Great trigger, great x-ray sights and the frame module size fits my smallish hands perfectly.
We can't all have Hickok45 size mitts 😅 I also have an XCompact that I love. I've run around 3,000 rounds through it and had 1 malfunction with a steel cartridge. Anyone who wants a great Glock alternative look into the P320 XCompact!
I got an X-Compact last year and absolutely love it! I ALMOST wish I had gotten the X-Carry only because I have huge freaking hands. I did get the Large grip module, but I still ended up getting some 3d printed mag floor plates so my pinky had full purchase. Anyway, GREAT little gun! I would recommend any of the X series from Sig, the trigger and sights are very worth it. I love mine so much my next purchase is going to be a concierge custom build from them using the full size X slide with the co-witness height sights and a red dot.
I know because I’ve had and sold 3 p320s, and had 1 Glock 19 that I still have, and I’ve had for 5 years that has probably traveled 180k miles at my side. Never failed me
Before cancer killed my little brother a couple months ago, he had gone from a highly customized Kimber Ultra Carry to the Sig P320 and swore it was way better. I hope his sons appreciate it when they get old enough.

My favorite scene in this video was the shot of the table with 3 Sigs & ZERO Glocks on it LOL. Great video as usual, you got me stoked for next week when my X-Carry grip module I ordered from Sig is due to arrive. Got the white one so I can dye it (medium gray) and swap out my P320 RX FS frame.
I have had my x-carry for about 6 months, and absolutely love it. When you said "you just want to keep shooting it," that is a great way to describe it. I have fired around 4200 rounds through it, without any issue. It's an absolute pleasure to shoot. It has become my EDC, the G19 is in the safe for now. I love them both but i tend to reach for the x-carry more often. Thanks Hickok, i bought this Sig because of your video! Nice camera work John!

Just got back from the Gatlinburg area of TN. Passed Bud's on the way home, sadly I was the only gunner in the car so I couldn't stop seeing as I would have been in there drooling for hours (not to mention probably spending a grand). Beautiful state down there in the Smokies. My son got to see 2 black bears and one was a cub. Keep up the great work fellas.
Bought me a couple twin FCU’s 2 years back. Completed one with a pro-cut slide on an x-carry “module” and a DP pro and love it, the other has worked its way into a x-compact with a pro-cut with the original NS and it hasn’t left my pack since. Sig wasn’t glockin around when they made these.
Hi Hickok45, I was in the market for a Sig P365 and the salesperson at my local FFL said, "Have you thought about the Sig P320 X-Carry?" I love Glock 17s! They are ideal in my book. I noticed that the X-Carry had a similar capacity. Then, she handed me the pistol. The balance was, for me, very nice. She said, "You can dry fire that one if you'd like." Wow, what a trigger! The grip felt great, the sights were something special. That trigger had me sold. I ended up purchasing the P365. A week later, I came back for the X-Carry. Then I took it straight to the range. I ate the center out of my standard 8 inch targets with it at 25 yards. No jams, no issues - just one really nice pistol. I like my P365, but my go to EDC is my new X-Carry. Why? Great shooting, night sights, and the same capacity as my Glock 17s. I could not be happier. This is the best pistol that I've purchased all year...and I started my 2019 out with a Vicker's Glock 17 ( also a very nice pistol!). My take on the Sig P320 X-Carry is that it is a prayer answered. I absolutely love to shoot it and feel well armed using it for my EDC.
I have an X5 and my girlfriend is getting an X carry. Amazing guns great trigger great sights cool lightening cuts just overall an awesome grip module and everything. Sig really nailed it on these. Sucks that they are made for the romeo one red dot only and an adapter plate is almost a hundred bucks.

The standard p320s have always been available in the "Carry" size along with the Full, Compact, and Sub-compact. If someone likes the idea or feel of the full-length grip paired with the shorter slide, they don't have to get the "X-Carry." They can get the regular "Carry," model. I hope the X-series guns don't completely replace the standard 320s. Sig has barely been keeping the conversion kits in stock as it is. I don't even know if the Xs are compatible with the old chasis or not.
All the X series guns are compatible with the old frames. I use the old style sub compact frame with the upper from the new X-compact. It makes a great carry gun and am looking forward to getting the Deltapoint pro and having it on a sub compact gun with very little extra cost (for slide milling)
Looks great. I see Sportsmans Warehouse has then now. They're new with a different slide, no lightning cuts, you don't loose the rear sight when you install the red dot.
I’ve had mine for six months I have I have a Romeo one and a fox trot flashlight on the bottom it’s probably one of the best shooting pistols I’ve ever shot and it’s extremely accurate with the Romeo one

Do you find that you prefer the P365 over the P320? What would you say are the biggest differences besides, obviously weight and size? Which has the better trigger and sights? Those are my two biggest issues - besides grip comfort... I'm asking because I'm seriously considering getting the P365 as my carry pistol - I currently carry the M&P .45 Shield. I love it, but I need something smaller on occasion, and the P365 seems like a great option....
I just got my first sig the other day. The P320 full size and i took it to the range and absolutely love it so far. I’ve owned glocks, m&p’s, Springfields, Taurus, ruger, and I’m sure I’m forgetting one or two. And out of the box this gun by far is the best to shoot. the trigger is crisp and feels awesome, the feel of it is awesome, and in general it is fun to shoot. the trigger is really the party that gets me though. most pistols in the 400 to 600 price range the triggers are just garbage but not this one.
Great review. One of the reasons I opted for the carry over the X-carry in my reviews was the differences in the grip. The X-carry seems to have a slightly higher hold but it also lacks the narrowing near the top of the grip that the carry has. The narrowing makes the carry feel much more comfortable to shoot for me than the X-carry that lacks it. The good news is hopefully one day they will have a grip module out with the narrowing of the top and the higher hold and I will simply buy the new grip module and replace it. That is the beauty of the modular design.
Hickok you've turned me into a gun nut, shot my first IDPA match yesterday and it was alot of fun. I went slow and steady and finished 39 out of 52 and I was the only first timer there, felt like I was moving slow as molasses, I may be hooked now
I've had mine for about a year. Have a romeo 1 as well as a olight baldr mini installed on it. I carry mine concealled. But 3 17 round mags and 2 21 round mags. I love it. It shoots like a dream and I have had no issues with the pistol. Also I do have a cz po7, fn 509 tactical, glock 19 and a glock 43x. I enjoy range therapy. But I enjoy the sig the most. Also check out the rear sights in low or no light conditions. You'll find they are just as crisp as the front.
Sig is def my favorite manufacturer! I have a P220 .45acp, P365, and P320 M17. I shoot them all better than any of my other pistols. They are such good quality at an affordable (usually) price!
I like my X-carry pretty well. The slide doesn't go into battery when eased forward, but is fine in normal operation. And it is a lot lighter than my P226 and P229's, but I like shooting the P series more. The X-carry is noticeably lighter to carry, and I really like the flat trigger.
I always loved the way the SIG field strips. I shot the 226 9mm and fell in love with it. It was my friends firearm. I had a gen 3 Glock 17. Very reliable gun.
Hickok, knowing how much you have a fondness for 1911's, it would be wonderful to see you do a review on the Colt Gold Cup National Match Series 70 1911. Within the past decade Colt finally brought back the Gold Cup National model (after a 25+ year absence) with some improvements including more durable BoMar style sights and an upgraded trigger.
Recently moved on to a P320 Carry from all my Glocks and I have to say...it really is hard to put it down because the grip is so good. It's now my competition gun. Just got an X Carry slide and Romeo 1 for it and it's an excellent pistol. Sig is giving my beloved Glocks a run for the money for sure.
P320 is great, but the Sig website makes it difficult to figure out what parts/accessories fit what guns. If you search on a particular grip, you get 6 pages of stuff. They need a configurator. Besides, how do you figure out what the sizes mean…. Do I need a medium or a large? Etc.
I don't mind full size frames. been carrying a 5" 1911 for over 20 years. the only people that can spot it are veteran cops. these days even if it prints it's just "oh a phone". as an aside, I love the the 320 series. the triggers are great, I'll stick with my 1911s for carry, but that's just because I've been doing it for so long. the VP9 is pretty good too but I think the 320 trigger edges it out by a hair

Speed Ball PiantBall guns use strait triggers for faster pulls. We call it fanning the trigger. Can turn any semiauto sound and behave like a fullauto.
I just bought one last week. I have two other grip modules for it including the Wilson Combat grip and I wouldn’t trade it for any other pistol. That being said, I do very much enjoy Glock’s, but the grip for me on them(Glock’s) is not as good as the Sig p320 c- carry. Mine has had no issues with over 400 rounds and hollow points fired. It’s my EDC and I trust it with my life.
I love my Xcarry. The grip is outstanding. Accurate weapon especially for its size. Only issues I have is the takedown lever can dig in your support thumb a bit, and with a fully loaded mag the press check occasionally wont return to battery. Something to do with the mag spring i guess cause it wont do that when empty. Nevertheless I really enjoy this firearm. Never had a malfunction as well.

I carry my .45acp P320 carry model with a subcompact grip module. It makes it really easy to conceal and still easy to shoot.
That's the best looking Sig I've seen for a very long time. It's one I'd certainly buy and carry ( no pun intended ).

Those are my two biggest issues - besides grip comfort... I'm asking because I'm seriously considering getting the P365 as my carry pistol - I currently carry the M&P .45 Shield. I love it, but I need something smaller on occasion, and the P365 seems like a great option....

I just got my first sig the other day. The P320 full size and i took it to the range and absolutely love it so far. I’ve owned glocks, m&p’s, Springfields, Taurus, ruger, and I’m sure I’m forgetting one or two. And out of the box this gun by far is the best to shoot. the trigger is crisp and feels awesome, the feel of it is awesome, and in general it is fun to shoot. the trigger is really the party that gets me though. most pistols in the 400 to 600 price range the triggers are just garbage but not this one.
Great review. One of the reasons I opted for the carry over the X-carry in my reviews was the differences in the grip. The X-carry seems to have a slightly higher hold but it also lacks the narrowing near the top of the grip that the carry has. The narrowing makes the carry feel much more comfortable to shoot for me than the X-carry that lacks it. The good news is hopefully one day they will have a grip module out with the narrowing of the top and the higher hold and I will simply buy the new grip module and replace it. That is the beauty of the modular design.
Hickok you've turned me into a gun nut, shot my first IDPA match yesterday and it was alot of fun. I went slow and steady and finished 39 out of 52 and I was the only first timer there, felt like I was moving slow as molasses, I may be hooked now
Congratulations. I can tell you from experience, regardless how fast you get, you'll still have that feeling that you're going slow.

Hickok.....you gotta try/review the new p320 Xcompact. In my opinion the best of the 320s
I've had mine for about a year. Have a romeo 1 as well as a olight baldr mini installed on it. I carry mine concealled. But 3 17 round mags and 2 21 round mags. I love it. It shoots like a dream and I have had no issues with the pistol. Also I do have a cz po7, fn 509 tactical, glock 19 and a glock 43x. I enjoy range therapy. But I enjoy the sig the most.
Also check out the rear sights in low or no light conditions. You'll find they are just as crisp as the front.
Sig is def my favorite manufacturer! I have a P220 .45acp, P365, and P320 M17. I shoot them all better than any of my other pistols. They are such good quality at an affordable (usually) price!
I like my X-carry pretty well. The slide doesn't go into battery when eased forward, but is fine in normal operation. And it is a lot lighter than my P226 and P229's, but I like shooting the P series more. The X-carry is noticeably lighter to carry, and I really like the flat trigger.

Terrill Williams it’s for accuracy. The pretension barrels are stiffer which adds to the accuracy.
I always loved the way the SIG field strips. I shot the 226 9mm and fell in love with it. It was my friends firearm. I had a gen 3 Glock 17. Very reliable gun.

Hickok, knowing how much you have a fondness for 1911's, it would be wonderful to see you do a review on the Colt Gold Cup National Match Series 70 1911. Within the past decade Colt finally brought back the Gold Cup National model (after a 25+ year absence) with some improvements including more durable BoMar style sights and an upgraded trigger.
Watching you shoot brightened my day. I especially enjoyed watching the bullet fly down range to the gong, very nice shooting.
Recently moved on to a P320 Carry from all my Glocks and I have to say...it really is hard to put it down because the grip is so good. It's now my competition gun. Just got an X Carry slide and Romeo 1 for it and it's an excellent pistol. Sig is giving my beloved Glocks a run for the money for sure.
West German Sigs have been better than Glocks for years. Lol
It would be nice to see Hickok45's view on the P320 X-Five.

P320 is great, but the Sig website makes it difficult to figure out what parts/accessories fit what guns. If you search on a particular grip, you get 6 pages of stuff. They need a configurator. Besides, how do you figure out what the sizes mean…. Do I need a medium or a large? Etc.

I don't mind full size frames. been carrying a 5" 1911 for over 20 years. the only people that can spot it are veteran cops. these days even if it prints it's just "oh a phone". as an aside, I love the the 320 series. the triggers are great, I'll stick with my 1911s for carry, but that's just because I've been doing it for so long. the VP9 is pretty good too but I think the 320 trigger edges it out by a hair

Depends on just how concealed you wanna go I can hide the 365 no problem any way I decide to carry it.

Speed Ball PiantBall guns use strait triggers for faster pulls. We call it fanning the trigger. Can turn any semiauto sound and behave like a fullauto.

I just bought one last week. I have two other grip modules for it including the Wilson Combat grip and I wouldn’t trade it for any other pistol. That being said, I do very much enjoy Glock’s, but the grip for me on them(Glock’s) is not as good as the Sig p320 c- carry. Mine has had no issues with over 400 rounds and hollow points fired. It’s my EDC and I trust it with my life.
I love my Xcarry. The grip is outstanding. Accurate weapon especially for its size. Only issues I have is the takedown lever can dig in your support thumb a bit, and with a fully loaded mag the press check occasionally wont return to battery. Something to do with the mag spring i guess cause it wont do that when empty. Nevertheless I really enjoy this firearm. Never had a malfunction as well.
