I’ve been wanting to visit that mine for quite awhile. You do know that it’s located in a well known uranium belt!?? I’ve seen ore samples from there that are uraninite (black), tobernite (typically greenish) and carnotite (yellow). All these are radioactive to various degrees. I’d be using a dust filtering mask to explore that mine! Radium is a decay particle of uranium and decays further to radon which is NOT good in your lungs! No point in getting lung cancer by not wearing a mask.
Love your channel!❤
This is one of my local favorites. I've been there 3 times, and hoping to go back sometime soon.
Lots of fun. The lights seem good. See you next time.
It angers me to see the Graffiti and trash. I was always taught to leave an area better then when I got there. I have passed that onto my kids and grandkids. Such an awesome time glad you shared your adventure.
Go back with the ropes and a basic respirator on the dusty ascent/descent! I’ll bet that’s where you might find an intact dynamite box. And thank you for editing out (most) of the cussin. We have kids who LOVE to watch your (and Dan’s) adventures.
Thanks for covering this area! It's been a long time since I've been out there. I still argee.... O Lights are amazing!!! We have been buying them for a couple of years now.
Raiders from the lost...,sweet!! I watch your rock b4 others...🌷🌷🌷🕊
Go down there! Looks like there is something special.
Bring plenty of rope and anchors. More adventure will follow
I love the colors showing up in the rocks. What's the purplish stuff?
Wow that was great! I can’t wait to watch more!
I love seeing the inside of mines I haven’t been in. This mine was very well marked out for assay sampling. The numbers on the walls are used as reference. Samples are taken and put in 5-10 pound bags and labeled with this number and sent for assay. I guess this determines if they continue the current direction. The mines in Calico mountain have a few locations where the crushed and prepped samples were returned to their respective numbers. Have you ever visited Calico? Tons of mines with a few still accessible.
Wow! That was super scary and I would never go down there by myself and without a light
Oh boy would i love to sample some of that material for free mill gold. Awesome looking stuff!
These are fantastic adventures
"A Rock Hero". Yes. You know who we are talking about. Thank you for saving everyone from themselves. A rock sandwich with blue Azurite for lunch and some Grey Poupon for the less educated.
You brave girl you!
This is so cool, I don't think I could have gone that far in at all, maybe an 8th or 16th of the way. So cool! Be safe! Have fun!
Oh, the grandmama in me wants you to wear hardhats when you explore these mines. But it sure looks like fun.
Awesome thanks for sharing...
The Boss mine was also known for platinum.😊
I'm loving the mine adventures. A very reliable light is an absolute must, I can't imagine if the light stopped working. I have several questions, is it easy finding your way back out with so many branches of tunnel? Did you get to keep any specimens from in there? I sure hope the miners found enough to make all that work worthwhile. See you next time.
That's why you always carry a spare.
Nevada has lot of warm springs
Ain't stone beutaful 🦋🦋
Bring a rope and Head down there next time you're in the area ps love your videos and content and your hair color is fire to love it
🌷🌷🌷🕊
At 5:56 there's a red mark on the wall, was that blood? 😬
Stay out and stay alive.
I great that you aren’t giving the exact location as it would just bring people out there who would deface the site with more graffiti and trash the area up.
I liked your video but concerned about why you don’t wear a helmet for your safety.
With that mop of hair, she has one all the time!😂
Styles not a single..
I say NO because if the rope would happen to brake down you go the fast way and not the good way. So please don't bother.
Just go picking and kicking through dynamite residue and old boxes….you won’t be on YT for long.
