Hi. I changed my suspension compressor of my 2010 GL550. Unfortunately there was a moment I started the engine without taken out the electric relay and the fuse.
The engine never run right again. The engine shut off as soon as it start.
I diagnosed it with OBDII and gave me (error code 6001).
I changed the Alternator and belt.
I am still having same problem engine start shutting off.
My 2nd diagnosis gave my mechanic (error code P2289)
Can you please advise what might be the problem.
My mechanic said the problem is (Cam Signal circuit 15) He told me I have to tow it to MB dealership for compressor
To reprogramming. Please I'm waiting for your response.

No check light on , 3 months ago started that, 270 is 2.7 liters engine, yes it has turbo , and yes it runs well when it starts, thank you again for replying.

Thanks David for the video. I was just wondering, I have a mb ml350 2004 and every time I start it..it always has a false start then I have to wait and start it again and it starts right up. If I stop for maybe 10 mins it doesn't have the false start. But for maybe over 30mins stops it will do that. Do you think it might be my key ignition sensor (key transponder immobilizer) or maybe the gas pump is not pulling enough gas to help it start on the 1st try? Thanks!

How about my c230 mercedez 2004 kompressor with New battery did not start the engine but when I charged it did start for couple of days then after it lost lightnings on duskboard and doesn't start nomore. Thanks for the video. I am having an issue with my 2005 e500. When I remove my key from the ignition the whole car dies and when I put the key back in the ignition the key won’t even turn and it becomes locked. To even unlock the doors I have to boost the car and then it turns on.
Do you think that Is that a problem with the ignition. I tested the battery and the battery and alternator and starter and giving good readings.

I have a Mercedes Benz e320 that does not have power like at 6:58 but when I hook up a battery charger the lights turn on but the car just clicks or cranks.
I have a 2008 CL 63 AMG. I am having a starting issue that I hope you can point me in the correct direction. I have replaced the starter battery this weekend, and it still will not start. when I turn the key it will attempt to turn over but doesn't. I have 12.70 volts at both batteries, the charging system is doing its job at 13.7 to 14 volts. If I jump start the car it will start. All my connections look clean. I have a icarsoft MB2 scanner and it tells me "low starter/ battery voltage."

I have B200 ,W246,2013 y.Problem is : in last few days it happens several times that after turning the key on 3 position (for starting) lights on dashboard are ok,but nothing happens.Tryied several times-nothing (gearshift lever is on neutral position/it is not automatic).For starting it is necessary to push the gear pedal since it is a condition for starting(it have start -stop system).After releasing and pushing again the pedal,and normally turning the key every time the engine starts.Is the problem may be in switcher on gear pedal or what else can it be ?

Good Evening, I've got a 2007 S550 and the lights were left on and now the key won't even turn in the ignition. (Completely locked no turning to position #2) Starter battery is good, I can't get to the aux battery in the trunk because I have no power and the small metal key isn't cut. Hi I recently brought a W212 2011 E350 4matic. Every time I put the car in reverse the radio come on? Is there a way to fix that? Also recently, Very time I hit a small pothole I would heat a small slight squeak. The squeak sounds like its coming from the rear.

Hey so I’m having issues in my w212 where it doesn’t start all my lights turn on I just recently replaced both batteries and the alternator I also stopped using the push to start button and use the key it takes me like 20 turns of the key to finally get it to start what do you think is this ?? Would it be the starter ????
So I am extremely impressed with your videos and knowledge I have v bee to so many mechanics fir my 2012 mercedes s550 and they do not see. To know jack I have a intermittent no start that turned into never start I do have codes and errors for Sam being under power or not communicating with the ECM as well as possible EIS problems problems so I'm not sure what it is but I've had this problem before and then it seems to go away II was pressing around at the battery there was a secondary fuse there or a relay Box right near the battery and I touched it no it's gonna clean the connections and it connections and I heard like a power up in my car and then it started and I didn't have a problem for a while all of a sudden my replaced or actually put in a secondary battery into the back I arched the battery up on a bolt's inside the frame work there were the middle few's panel is inside behind the seat and now my car won't start So I do have some codes and errors But before I bother you with my issues I want to say that I am very thankful for this video I'm very thankful for your knowledge and your honesty and being disagreed person you deserve to drive any car in the world that you want with the person that you are I appreciate it a lot nobody wants to help seemingly when I bring my car they just want to take my money and they've taken thousands of dollars for me and nothing has come of it I've had to fix things on my own just make sense of it and luckily I hadn't smarter than most obviously but I still don't know much about Mercedes and my 1st Mercedes I usually drive BMW But I am very thankful for this video I'm gonna try everything that you have just done and walked over I'm up a little bit later just got out of class so I don't have the codes on me and I don't feel like uh staying up to get them but IWe'll get you the codes if you take a second to walk me through it I will definitely send you money I'll pay you for your time as an hour for Mercedes pay about $200 I don't care I need to get this fixed I've been out of work for a year I'm broke I have 3 young kids and I need to get to work my wife started to work she's never worked today in her life but I bought her a Honda and II need a car now and my car is dead and will not start I get a click and that's it everything powers up I have powered everything it clicks I heard everything it clicks one time and then nothing happens and it happens and I think it's too much of a quid sense for the starter to have gone out at the same time that I aren't the battery out so I checked all the fuses nothing is bad I've not checked the relay I'm buying that kit that you have so I can check that and check the starter I'm sorry I'm rambling I'm a lot like you I'm very Explanative andI like to talk and I like to listen so I appreciate you again thank you so much hopefully you can have the time to get back to me I know you're probably a very busy man if you don't don't worry about it I will get your codes and I'll get back to you if you had a number to call you I would appreciate that a lot thank you

Hello David I have bmw 750 li 2011with n63,I have a problem with it when ever I push the gas pedal drive train message appears on idrive,I replaced 2 ignition coil pack all spark plugs service all injectors change both vanos for bank 2 camshafts valve timing is ok but the message is still there .please help me out.
2009 s550.. push button start.. noticed a sluggish start now may turn once but no longer starts.. lights radio dash still work.. have not yet checked the battery
blowing fuse 23 on a c300 2011 model. sensors and adjusters and mas air replace. Still in limp mode. Green relay tested good. Can you help?
I have a Mercedes-Benz Vito 115 CDI 2005 model engine code 646. I have to turn the ignition on and off for about 6 times before it will start. I replaced the glow plugs, replaced the fuel pressure regulator and the diesel pump. There are times it will start first time and times where I have to turn ignition on and off for about 6 times as mentioned above. It does not matter whether its hot or cold.
Hey David I have a 2001 Mercedes-Benz c 240 , I bought the car with a after market stereo already installed now a month later car don’t start. I’m trying to install the original stereo is ther any wher that has the car stereo diagram that connect to the drivers door fusebox?
You went over quite a few things but not this. 1998 SLK 230. Starts for a second or two and quits. No fault codes. Fuel pressure at 58 psi. Car runs with gas rag in intake. Injectors not getting grounded to inject fuel. No start error problem on the dash. I'm leaning towards the left door latch. What do you think would cause this?

Try eBay.. we usually have snapon or Matco trucks stop by our shops with all the tools but eBay or Amazon is a good place to start.

Hey David i have a 2008 Mercedes R350 car was running good then it started to take longer to crank a code come up P0335 and now it want start so I changed the crankshaft position sensor twice still want start I checked the timing is ok im getting fuel but no fire any ideas?

My 02 ml320 busted a brake line. It sat for 3 weeks. We got the brake line replaced and it wouldn't start. It threw a "start error" I undid the positive post for a few days to reset the computer. It then would start and die like in theft mode. I noticed my red led light that shows the ecu is reading the key was not blinking. So I went to a Mercedes dealership to order a new key. They said they didn't make the flip style any more and it was like a valet key. No chip is visual. Tried it...still get a start error. I had it hooked up to 3 scan tools...only thing it showed was something with the transmission. I figured maybe where I was baking out of my driveway not fast at all...that's when the brake line busted and it scared me so I threw it in park. I left it running and went and got my bf and he drove it back down the driveway and that's where its sat since August. I should have told you all that when I told you in the beginning about the brake line busting. Can you please help me out!? I'm hoping I don't have to but a new computer, ecu and immobilizer along with the matching key.

I bought a 2004 ML350. Previous owner gave me the factory key with fob, and a hardware store copy with no fob. Why? He said the factory key turns the engine and it starts for 1 second, the dies. The hardware store key starts the car fine. What do you think is the cause?

Hello and thanks for making this channel. I have 08 C350 Sport 3.5 V6. Left it running yesterday to run in the house, came out car was not running. It will turn but not start. Fuses are good, replaced fuel pump and crankshaft sensor. Gives me fault codes: U0109, P0628, P0336, P0607, P0461. I've looked them up but at this point I don't know what to do next. Do you have any suggestions?

Hi have a w204 c320 v6 cdi car was standing 4-6 months in garage no battery got battery connected it key on lights on no cranking just a thud sound. Next day check starter brush box dead replaced it wors on the bench with jumper replaced car makes no sound no cranking and no starting? Will check fuses tomorrow and starter relay clicks but will replace just in case any othe suggestions oh yes we have a launch diagnostics scanner no major issues just ECM error right map sensor will also replace that tomorrow ... i have a feeling its gonna vecome a headache eventually

hello,i have a question,my key at my car cant be turned to right to start the card...i have electricy in my car,radio,light,locking from inside works...but from the key nothing..today come an mechanic he check something there and after he connect his laptop at car computer i dont know if he readed something,because dont tell me nothing..he take out housing key ,he said that contact key is problem,he take with him the key and that piece,i put a picture here exactly..he said will try to repair that part,if he cant will be second hand one at 20-30 £ ,and after he will transfer all data to my key working..later he said cant be repaired and need to order new part,and that for friday,and all jobe will be around 250-340..is ok the price?is not to much?i dont know if that piece is problem..only him said that..but when i put before my key in contact before key dont working,and dont turn to right,is stucked ..is not another way to fix my problem?i seen on ebbay housing key (where you put the key to start the car,like in picture added by me here)you can buy another thsi part..can you save me with a information what to do?
2011 E350 Convertible with 80K miles. Random issue with starting car. Turn key FOB and nothing happens - no crank. Take the FOB out and reinstall and it starts. I changed both FOB batteries and the main battery under the hood. Last weekend I tried to start it several times and nothing. Opened the hood and checked battery voltage between the external + blade and the ground lug. 12.3 to 12.4 V. Went back in and turned the FOB - started right up. Any thoughts?
Hello, After a dry failure my ML 400 CDI V8 Diesel automatic transmission refuses to restart. I got annual all the fault codes and removed the air in the circuit nothing, I leaned towards the pump nothing it expels the diesel and arrives well at the filter. I even try to put gasoline on a stifle which I then placed at the air intake (air filter). He tried to start but also stopped early, I do not see the result that none of the injectors are wet but the return returns as soon as the diesel. Need help for the future. cordially

I just replaced starter on my 10 e350 i bought a new relay before i swapped the starter didn’t do anything so i returned it we bypassed it it cranks with bypass. The key works the steering wheel drops lights come on now do i replace starter relay or is something else bad

I have a Mercedes 2002 C240
The car just died on the freeway a mechanic told me my fuel pump was out first he said it was the right side then the left side I replaced both however now my car doesn't crank over only with the help of starter fluid I did purge the the fuel pumps a few times before I tried starting it . I also replaced fuel filter .mechanic also checked fuel strength and there is fuel coming out . The battery had also died after trying to jump start car. It still just want to crank over and run .what can you advise
Van you check the crank case sensor or the alternator regulator ,hope this help you.
My issue is no crank no start. I changed the starter I heard the old one kick on and the new one but still no turning over engine. Also changed crank position sensor is there anything else? Or could the ecu cause the issue ?

Great Video!!!However, you didn’t explain what happened after testing if the vehicle still does not do anything. I have a 1997 SL500 sport and it does nothing when you turn the key. Light and radio come on but no crank. I tested the battery which was good. I checked all the fuses in the truck and under the hood. Swapped relays in fuse box as well, no avail. Is there anything else that I may be able to do prior to sending to a repair shop?

I started it by jumping the starter relay with a wire, but put a non mercedes relay in its place attempting to fix it but got some sparks, now I can't jump it with a wire anymore and it still doesn't start... I get an error message, " take key from ignition" what would you advice my next move to be?

W211 2002 have vibration from the rear left , my via steering wheel. All wheels have been balanced, changed a droplink , changed centre prob shaft bridge. Vibration occurs at 40 to 65 mph. Also more apparent on different road surfaces.

T C L start with basics, balance wheels first, make sure tires and rims are good, rotate wheels and see if vibration travels to other side, check CV axles, check rear differential, make sure wheels are tight on hubs. I think that should get you started
