Nice idea. In combination with the depth stop of your saw, it should be possible to make simple lap joints when moving the wood just a few mm every cut.

I'd attach a piece of thicker clear foil to the end of the slide, which hangs over the end and can move freely

gk jga ini bs potong ketebalan 6 cm itu ckp tebal, kayu tebal 6 cm jama skr dpt dmna 😁, cb nanti sy cari bevel cut yg gmna yg plng gampang am mudah diterapkan

I think it's a good idea. But I would use it with a router rather than a circular saw to make precise parallel grooves.

Your videos are very good, however the constant auto focus can be a bit annoying to watch and I would recommend turning it off and just using manual focus.

yup this if have miter saw you can use that, this is optional if only have circular saw.
