For people who raged why robocop won: 1.robocop has 3 layers the terminator only has 2 2.the armor robocop had was thickened. 3.the terminator didn't have outside layer armor. 4.the terminator's hardballer was blown up by the ordnance. 5.terminator's grenade launcher glitched. 6.terminator was programmed and didn't have own objectives. 7.robocop's jet pack malfunctioned it didn't explode. 8.arnold's minigun wasn't meant to destroy titanium. 9.arnold was not meant for taking down cyborgs. 10.robocop's more strategic.
7:17 - "I had no idea what the context of that line was!" I'm freakin' speechless. I think I've just discovered a unicorn! I have to stop watching this now, before my head explodes! Dude, as a guy, what have you been watching the twenty something years of you life so far; lame chick flicks!?
I Love how you look at all the sides of the battles and pretty much care about the positives of both parts, that's why I like your death battle videos :)
I raged at this Death Battle, not because of who won, but because of how they simulated the fight. There is a list of things I can point out to you that Wiz and Boomstick failed to mention: 1. Terminator blowing up in half by a home made pipe bomb was only possible when it was shoved into it's rib cage without it knowing. Had this explosive gone off in it's face, it wouldn't have done much damage. 2. Robocop cannot store his arm cannon anywhere on his body, he has to choose if he wants 1 hand or 2 hands before being deployed. 3. Terminator cannot warp back in time with anything, including that plasma rifle he magically pulled out of his body. This is not possible as the gun is too big to fit, which is why the T-X model Terminator was developed with an in-built plasma arm cannon. 4. Robocop's jet pack is NOT made of titanium like Robocop, this piece of equipment would have been minced by the M134 Minigun, the MK-6S Grenade Launcher impact, or being damaged/destroyed from the car explosion. 5. T-800 model Terminators are built with learning computers, it can quickly adapt to it's surroundings. In addition, they are well educated in anything involving destruction and have detailed records of historic events. Meaning, if it traveled back in time, it would have known about Robocop and how to kill or avoid him to complete it's mission. If Robocop was the primary target, it would have came a lot more prepared. 6. Robocop may be able to lift or push around 10 tons, but he is not capable of hurling it due to his incredibly slow maneuverability. Terminator can also lift and push the same amount of weight AND hurl it. 7. Terminator's speed factor alone can almost guarantee him an instant victory. In the beginning you saw them both scan each other's weak points. The Terminator would have ripped Robocop's vital organs out of his body had he let him get that close. Same can be said for Robocop provided that he is fast enough to attempt it. This means that both fighters would have kept their distance at all times unless they run out of ammo. Moral of the story: Realistic facts REALLY matter when it comes to a statistic based fight. If you think Robocop or Terminator would win, convince us by simulating the fight ACCURATELY. There is a bunch of fights they made that they have been getting sloppy with lately, this being the worst offender. Feel free to discuss.
Due to having heard mixed facts from people posting here, regarding strengths and intelligence and whatnot, I really only have a response to your 5. When I watched it, I didn't get that RoboCop was the primary target, but rather that Terminator appeared, caused an explosion, committed theft, and then RoboCop arrived on the scene to serve justice. So if that interpretation would help explain Terminator's lack of preparedness, there you go. Other notes you made, however, I hadn't heard either side of before (like 1. and 2., for instance), and you make sense.
Ah man! Someone spoiled Luigi vs Tails for you? Would've liked to see your reaction to the reveal. Anyways, it actually comes out March 21! Since they spent so much time on Robocop vs Terminator, it allowed them to get a head start on some fights.
Oh, wow. So assuming I'm fast enough, I could have a video up for it by the 22nd. haha Guess we'll see! And yeahhh, someone did spoil it, but with no bad intentions. I just don't want people telling me about Death Battles that were just revealed.
Fun fact: The part where the missles are launched and destroy everything and such at 2:31-2:34 are from the original Smallville series where a glimpse of Lex Luthor's future as president is shown.
The Indigenous Atheist terminator isn’t evil He protected john Conor to prevent robot wars and the world ending Robo cop only saved his city so terminator is more of a hero
Reapermaster 123 he shouldn’t have, for a start he would have moved out of the way of the car that was thrown at him, and death battle used the t-800 not the t-850
If I may offer some insight,(I apologize if this has already been addressed) they actually do put things such as Robocop's strength in the analysis, jsut in the sidebars to the right, such as the Feats at 11:37 where it said that he survived a 3000 PSI hydraulic press. On a sidenote, I laughed a bit at Robocop's vision at 15:54 with the "Cool Sunglasses" sighting at the left.
Jaymes Shoreman Well, if it were just me on-screen, I wouldn't. But to react to it in this fashion, showing the video I'm reacting to at the same time, would be to violate copyright law*. *Fair Use is a real grey area. Oftentimes it would come down to which party has the most money.
Hey Ris, if you read this, the reason they with-hold information until the end is for those moments that a person may be in disbelief and think 'dude, there's no way that really is it!' and goes to write a butthurt comment that they'll regret later when they think about it more. It provides information that a person may not get before the fight to make the fight more understandable and see why each person won, so there's no confusion :D Though if you figured this out or someone said this already that's cool, just thought I'd say it.
in the comic it turns out that some parts of robocop were used o make the first terminators, which ends up with some weird battle in the future, where robocop takes over skynet and creates thousands of robot copies of himself to fight an army of terminators
well you have to think that the fuel cell took twice as long to explode in the movie. hell least two hours or so cause he was shot at night. when he met up with john conner it was day light. figure it's atleast 4am in the parkinglot. and around 6 am when he met up with conner in the truck and took out the fuel cell
there is something i am trying to understand when the cell explode in the movie, did he forced it to explode by itself or did it happen for other reason?
Your talking me they just happened to land next to the Heraclitus, which managed to survive the grenade launcher, crashing, and all the blasting, and still worked perfectly? You've got to be kidding me.
+bronymon x Coincidences happen all the time in movies/shows/stories. The animation is just for entertainment purposes, not to show exactly how one character would beat another.
+Ris Grestar even so, it's hard for me to swallow. Also, with how slow he moves and damage taxing his power I find it hard to believe he was able to get over there and strap him on then let it go far enough to escape the explosion. Maybe he could have survived the blast, I don't know, but it definitely should have hit him
+bronymon x he's survived about as much as that explosion could give out, so while he might run out of power, he'd still be alive technically for a bit (if you look at it subjectively) the problem is mostly that robocop could tank more damage and dish out more than Terminator could handle (poor poor terminator) he did do well at least
I like both characters a lot especially the comic that has Robocop vs the terminator. Robocop later on finds out that if it weren't for skynet he would never existed but little the Robocop know that not only he is one of the first Terminators but the beginning of the T-800 and rise of the machine. Later on it goes to the future were the resistance lost hope but their darkness is lit up thru Robocop. the resistance build Robocop with even more advance technology and his jet pack. Then Robocop goes to off to finish skynet making skynet regret of creating the perfect machine Robocop. Robocop is the predator and the aliens the terminators. RVT....AVP That film would be awesome they have the game and comic we need the movie. P.S HOLLYWOOD MAKE IT HAPPEN!!!!
+Prowlered01 tx would die (due to the weapons robocop has) though it could take control t1000 and t3000 would probably win though (damn regeneration ability)
Hey +Ris Grester I do slightly agree with you, but if you watch the hydrogen full cells exploding part again, watch the percentage of energy go down closely and you'll see it goes to 1% towards the beginning of the countdown so it should have blown up before robocop could have strapped him to the jetpack, also I noticed this video was posted a little less than a year ago and was wondering if you have had the chance to watch the new robocop movie if so what did you think. Would love to hear back
Here's my big problem with this fight. The Terminator has a CPU capable of some incredible calculations, data analysis and processing. Yet it can't keep count of how many shells it has left? Not to mention the whole obvious part about how the Terminator is accurate enough to fire a fucking minigun into a crowd of police officers without causing any fatal injuries, yet he can't seem to aim at Robocops exposed jaw? Yeah, sloppy video IMHO,
*slaps my own face* The animations battles are not meant to be 100% based on what happens. If two attack methods are shown against once an other the fights will show which person would likely win. Thus the count of shells was done for the "movie". This can be argued for many parts of these animations where it works and it does not but overall its for entertainment and semi teaching. Its not done extremely well every time. As for Robocop exposed Jaw, and his perhaps Glass Jaw since its still humanish........your right they might have very likely missed on that.
Mazzmaker69 They stated that the Terminator can develop emotions. This can include anger, which to humans, is a hindrance to perfection (or in fiction, a protagonist/antagonist power-up). So to summarize, the traits of anger is inability to realize, remember, or think logically. Terminator got so pissed off that he forgot to keep track of his ammo and just wanted Murphy to die.
Alfred Chen Oh you know damn well that's horseshit. Show me a single moment in any Terminator movie where a Terminator makes a mistake because he's pissed. Hasn't happened. Death Battle pulled that gold nugget straight out of their own asses.
I call bs!!!They said if his battery was damaged or if he was facing someone of his equal he will experience power falures. The Terminator greatly injured Robocop and I'm pretty sure his battery as well. Also Terminator was more than equal to Robocop. Why didn't he experience power failures!?!?!?
***** Late reply I know but in Robocop 3 someone shot a grenade launcher on his chest and it made him go on his ass and have power failures. Also a T-850 is made with material that far exceeds Titanium in durability and the fact that plasma weapons in the Terminator universe can easily kill a T-800 (850 are build to survive plasma blasts btw 800 can not) I think it would of amputated Robocop at the least. Also the lasers Robocop was able to take in his tv show do not come close the the power of the phased plasma rifle.
Andy Doe first of all. he took a shell... not a grenade, a shell. it's called a grenade because apon impact it explodes and sends shrapnel all over. secondly, he was hit in a central power point, and the heart, which is why his power was failing. it was a close range attack. thirdly. colton isn't stronger than titanium, it is however a higher melting point metal. this means it won't melt as easily as the prior t-800. finally... a plasma shot is a plasma shot. you can't compare one to the other. and a plasma shot isn't 100% electrical plasma needs to be radiated off something... like a ceramic shell. and we all know ceramics won't even dent titanium. hell proof plasma won't do shit to Robocop. when Kane(Robocop2) used an arc plasma cutter against Robocop's helmet, all he did was scratch it, he didn't cut through it or break it. notice Robocop's visor was still intact?? plasma shots won't take him down. feel lucky they allowed them to paralyze his limbs for the fight
DEATH111183 Firstly in the very beggining of the fight Terminator managed to scan Robocops heart. And later on when Terminator clearly has 4 more shots left in his GL he just discards it like nothing. Plus I don't know how powerfull lasers are in the Robocop universe. In the Terminator universe they can eat through T-800's with ease. And when you realise that T-800's are made with material stronger than Titanium (hyper alloy) you realise that maybe they can severly damage Robocop. If armor piercing rounds can why not a god damn T-800 killing laser rifle. And there will be plenty of times where Terminator can get Robocop up close he even managed to overpower Robocop in close combat and easily blast a shell point blank in his chest. All im saying is that people severly underestimate the Terminators weapons a minigun would of taken of the metal plates with ease. Remember back to Robocop 1 where the police force managed to paralyse his limbs.
Sorry I don't understand your comment. Did you mean that Robocops strength and durability where on there side or something else? Sorry to sound like a idiot but please explain a bit more.
I do agree with the fact that Robocop is the more durable machine that may lift more but the Terminator is a mixture of Strength,Speed and durability and functions non stop for an estimated 120 years non stop while Robocop needs to charge up. In a real fight I can see that Robocop may have him at close quareters combat but then the T-800 scans parts of Robocops body that may cause it to malfunction and then in the end ultimatly kill him. Also theoritaclly the T-850 may remove its hydrogen cell processor and use it as a projectile against Robocop and easily destroy him. (Has the strength of a mini nuclear bomb ad the radiation may affect Robocops machinery) And in the end finish him off.
Takahata101 or Nappa was the person in the Gun Shop store. I don't know if he was the owner, but it makes a pretty good gag reel(they destroyed Nappas ARMory lol). I guess they'll need the Dragonballs, again! The only part of this episode I'm iffy about is the arsenal they gave Terminator. Everything else is accurate. I know both of those combatants too well to disagree. I even predicted the governator would win by a string of lucky shots! Anyway, this is 2nd to Goku Vs Superman in my favorites. Your reaction makes me feel less angry that I've got this one wrong.
***** actually robo cop is at 2030 and terminator is 2029 so terminator was going to hte future and robo cop has futre sofeware compared to terminators which can easliy be hacked
In Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, there is an anti-terminator called the Terminator TX. It was built to kill other Terminators who were captured and hacked by humans to kill them.
lol Right? I was kept guessing up till the end. Like, it was close without being "Link VS Cloud" close. :P I'm gonna go through the videos and tally up votes right now, so we'll see where Samus VS Boba lands :)
Fanboys...they used all the media for both characters. If it was solely based on the movies, Terminator would have won. Robocop won because feats and weapons from his TV series and cartoon were taken into account and Robocop was OP in those medias... Not that hard to see why Robocop won now is it?
Operative word in the analysis is "immediately." Depending on how fast the Terminator can "learn," how much processing power is needed to do so, and the amount of "experience" that particular Terminator had, the analysis could be true. Please note I have not seen any of the movies from either series.
Absolutely Nobody OK but in the movie Terminator Salvation you can see in the labs of skynet on a computer it says downloading basic human activity and thinking and is plugged into the terminator which was on a assembly line with many behind it meaning it is programmed to predict humans the learning factor is a boost p.s. You should watch the Terminator series I don't care what anyone says it's great
The Bacon Warrior You forget that Robo was once a decorated officer. in his line of work he was to be able to think on his feet. Add the computer upgrades he got and you get a guy that thinks both like a man and a machine.
The Bacon Warrior just to correct you. terminator was designed to learn from humans how to think like them.basically, he can't think creatively like humans unless he learned how. where as Robocop could think on his feet and be more creative in his combative skills too. unless the terminator was downloaded with Robocop's consciousness to better understand him. he wouldn't have a chance of out thinking him
DEATH111183 Yes but as the terminator was fighting Robocop he would start to learn his strengths and weaknesses p.s. This is a great debate I like how it's sticking straight to fact not just mindless insults you have my respect.
Guys in the nineties there was a comic of Terminator vs RoboCop and I'll like all I remember was RoboCop somehow hook them self into the Mainframe and fought Skynet in The Matrix do any of you remember that
Alaric Francesco The terminator has nothing to harm robocop, even the laser rifle this is why i think this death battle completely unfair and they only made it for attention
Chris Powers robocop doesn't need to worry about them at all,he can just disable all his weapons with only his pistol then get on his jet pack take his cobra assault cannon and just blow the terminator to bits and when the cells get damaged robocop can just fly away
Also skynet has a camera in each terminator to see what they've done and transfer it back to HQ to adapt a new terminator suit for that area or send in one they already have that they know for sure is capable of completing that task.
I guess the reason they hold back specific things is so that the people who have seen them personally can make a better guess as to who the winner will be. Something to single out the Death Battle fans from the people who are familiar with them.
Terminator shoulda won.. I think him being outta ammo at the time of him about to win... was so unfair Robo cop didn't reload any of his guns and seemed to have unlimited ammo so why does the Terminator have limited ammo? And.. And... Why the hell did he ditch the fuckin grenade lancher?! If he's grounded!! easy shot with several grenades to the face to weaken him! This fight should have gone differently
Keep in mind, we're dealing with a dramatization of how the fight would go, so there's probably going to be inconsistencies. As for him running out of ammo on the last bit? You can take it as a shout out to Terminator 2, where one of the characters was about to kill a Terminator... but when they went for the finishing blow, they were out of ammo. Also, as for why the grenade launcher was thrown away, he probably didn't want to risk anything and probably planned to go in at close range, where he was faster and had the advantage. He probably didn't want the same trick he pulled off with the Gatling gun to happen with the grenade launcher too. Would YOU like someone shooting a bullet down the barrel of your loaded grenade launcher?
Well if im made of the same material as the terminator yeah i'd deffinately go for the chance while he's on the floor after crashing to shoot him in the face with my launcher, wouldn't you? it woulda even prevented robo cop from changing weapons and majorly changing the outcome of the fight let along im pretty sure the terminator counts his bullets and wouldn't let the whole ammo thing happen he does have a vast knowledge of all weapons it would make only sense that the most advanced killing machine would count his bullets accordingly. and not let such a amateur thing to happen like that
Lostcheetah It's easy to say 'he should have done x and the fight would have gone differnetly'. The thing is, the Terminator was using logic. And logic dictates that if he has the ability to shoot down the barrel of a gun, a grenade launcher, which has a bigger barrel and a stationary one to boot, would be an easy shot for him. This made it, logically, an ill-suited weapon. Like I stated before, the Terminator held the advantage at close range, with his speed. So, logically, with the jetpack down, the best way to take the momentum was to getinto melee range, again, making the grenade launcher a poor choice. The entire reason he did that was due to functioning on pure logic. This was the logical course of action and it got him screwed over.
+Ender41948 The Terminator got crushed by a hydraulic press, but that was after he: got shot at A LOT, got in a car crash, got ran over by a truck, had a gasoline truck explode while he was driving it, sat in fire, had a bomb lodged inside him and have it blow off both his legs and one arm, and after that the hydraulic press killed it. If it was at it's full strength, you don't think it could of held that press?
You really didnt do anything, you just watched the video and said ohhhh, and i see. Also the midpoint when you told your prediction, it sounded like a 12 year old forgot to prepare for a oral report and he just winged it
Asain Chu Your comment is completly moot since you just basically said what he was supposed to be doing, reacting to a video, hence it being called Lets Watch,so instead of voicing your humble opinion your just speaking negetivly or being a troll
I forgot to mention this...your comment about the Mech....its actually ED-209, which was Robocop's first mechanical rival/opponent in the first film...it briefly appeared in the 3rd one as well!
***** I'm aware of Ed-209 and that's what Robocop shot with that gatling gun. It's in the first movie...the science bitch from the 2nd one scared the hell out of me!
Well, now that you got to see this Death Battle, you should choose a road with this before watching Luigi and Tails going at it. Ivy vs B. Orchid or Death Battle from the very beginning?
I've watched a bunch of your videos now and you seem to always be surprised that Death Battle holds back some of the information to deliver it in the final analysis. This is obviously done for dramatic tension and to make it harder for those who know nothing about these characters to make their guesses. Had you actually seen the materials that they referenced for these facts then you'd already know all of these feats and the winner would have been fairly obvious. This isn't just true of this fight but ALL Death Battles. Some fights certainly are a lot closer than others but you can beat that 9 times out of 10 they will find at least ONE thing that when added into the mix will give one person the edge in the battle.
By the way, Ris, the whole context of the "I'll be back." line was that the Terminator was sent to kill Sarah Connor, John Connor's mother, and he knew she was in the police station. He attempted to get in to see her by asking if he could see her. The officer said that he could wait in that room for a while if he wanted. After that, well, you saw the clip.
***** Hello sir. I want to tell you that you got yourself a new subscriber. Next, I want to ask you, have you got a chance to watch Terminator 1-3 and RoboCop 1-3? Cause by the way you reacted certain clips of both movies, it sounded like you haven't seen them. If you haven't, you are missing out and I recommend watching them ASAP.
Eddie Olshefski You are correct in that I haven't seen them! (I thought I had said that in the video, actually, but I don't know.) And I still want to see them. I just haven't taken the time yet. lol
One thing I realized about this battle is if they stuck to usual equipment Robo-Cop would have his pistol, his weapon arm if he could manage to carry it on him and his mines, The Terminator would have nothing. The Terminator always shows up in the past naked with no weapons, armor or anything, it has to find weapons to use so it has no common equipment. I saw people saying that Robo-Cop's jet pack and sniper rifle aren't common things he has, well Terminator never has weapons when he goes to the past, he has to find them and in the animated fight he was just lucky enough to land in a gun store, he'd be out gunned in a realistic setting.
Great Video, and you've never seen the movies, you've missed out, Robocop, Terminator, & Terminator 2: Judgement Day, are all smartly written, completely awesome, and totally enjoyable movies that I guarantee You'll love. Since Luigi vs Tails comes out In 2 weeks maybe you should watch another Death Battle with a Mario or Sonic character in it, like Koopa vs Goomba, Peach vs Zelda, or Eggman vs Wily.
***** I'd just stick with the first 2 Terminator movies and the first Robocop movie. The later Robocop movies and tv shows helped him win this fight, but that doesn't mean their good.
comicking428 Thats your opinion, I happen to have loved all three Robocop movies and all the Terminator movies to date. Especially since the last one had my favorite actor, Sam Worthington in it.
SoulKiller7Eternal It's actually not just his, a lot of people feel that way. Terminator 3, while not bad, is no where near as good as Terminator 1 and 2, Terminator Salvation is widely considered the worse of the Terminator series. And everything following RoboCop 1 was pretty lackluster. RoboCop 2 is still pretty entertaining in a B movie sorta way. RoboCop 3 is pure garbage, the 2014 remake, while it isn't great, is at-least better then RoboCop 2 and 3, (though it makes me miss the original every time I see it).
***** Eh, I had always saw Robocop 1 through 3 and I always liked the open war-fare in 3 and 2 which I guess is why I like 3 so much. Also...watch 3 again and then tell me how it si going to play out in our day & age. The people of Detroit & Cops (American Citizens & Army) vs OCP & Mercs (Government & UN troops) :P
I swear, there are videos up here where arresting officers mistakenly say "you _are_ to remain silent", in general exposing the "Miranda Rights" for what they really are: orders coupled with threats to ensure a verdict of "guilty" if disobeyed, even for innocent defendants.
I can't believe he didn't watched Terminator, I remember when I first watched Terminator (the second movie) on tv I was in grade school, and I don't even live in America. Him being an american I think would have increased his chances to see a Terminator movie at least once in his life time.
Even when Robocop is more armoured, who is stronger? They both lifted armoured bunker door(my english isn't good for this conversation), and Terminator is faster so there is chance to Terminator, that he would rip his hands or something like that and than it'll be quick, beacause Robocop would lost lots of his energy. And did i mentioned that Terminator could just come to Robocop and crush his weapons(with his bare hands, Terminator have enough power to do that)?
Wait, at 20:37...! I think Robocop took the separate battery pack out of the jetpack there! So I guess he won't have to worry about losing all his energy at the end.
I just watch all your reaction videos to Death Battle today, and I got to say I like your system: Who I think will win before the analysis, who I think will win after the analysis, what I thought of the conclusion. Anyway, as for recommendations, watch Akuma vs Shang-Tsung, then Shao Khan vs M. Bison.
Thank you! It's a system I personally enjoy :) Alright, your votes shall be counted toward the selection of the next Death Battle! (Well, after the new one, of course. :P)
The stuff they mention after the battle is when they compare the two combatants so you don't already know what counters what. The descriptions beforehand are just one combatant at a time, so you can see what their character is like and their basic structure. Then they compare the two so you can see what counters what and why their death battle played out as it did. If they showed this before the battle, a victor would most likely already be decided without getting to see the work they put into the animation of the fight. So it's individual analysis of the fighters, the battle, then comparing the two.
This episode of Death battle is a decieving crap! T-800 was shown too weak in that "Simulation". No way it's so easy to break T-800 to pieces. You have to be shooting at it with an RPG or rocket launcher to achieve that. While Robocop can be just sawn down into parts. What, are you kidding? Moreover, T-800 was never totally destroyed nor defeated when he was a protagonist, and Murphy is clearly is still vulnerable too much, just as human, if it wasn't for help of his comrades, mostly he couldn't survive against simple thugs hunting him down. T-800 endoskeleton is much more durable and advance thanRobocop's Armour that easily gets destroyed on every occasion. On the other hand, Terminator is made from hyper alloy that doesn't get destroyed by anything except something really large.Popular opinion that Robocop is the superior one is based on his character being a protagonist as being force for good and even human with backstory, besides he's underdog and the underdog always wins against evil terminators. But by technical points, he's much weaker, although he has more toys Terminator can also be equipped with special inventory (or maybe a jetpack), especially if they send him after Robocop, and not stealth liquidation mission. RoboCain is not actually more powerful than a T-800 (at least not in terms of overall design and capabilities), he's really stupid one to fall down from that skyscraper like that and not once find a way to kill Robocop while the last had no ways to run . Straightforward, his stupidity and irrationality is what contradicts any of his physical potential.T-800 is advance killing machine, much smarter that Cain:it can just punch through layer of Robocop and injure him inside real quick, whereas Terminator has little to no weaknesses. Besides, even if you achieve to tear apart some of its parts it will be as effective as before and can even repair itself. Everybody says that PIPE BOMB indicates how easily it is to destroy a T-800. It was just due to limitation of the budget that he was damaged at the end with that small piece. Writers could have used some more weapon explosion, then afterwards is very thoughtfully targeted into this one of few existing weaknesses in the whole endoskeleton . It was a movie like Salvation where we see clearly grenades don't do shit against it. Depiction of T-800 in first movie was just too minimalistic, but still nothing but hydraulic press could stop it, Robocop fells in agony everytime some serious damage is inflicted. In Robocop 2 when they fell he used RoboCan as a shield to not get his body decimated. T-800 would get some minor damage and keep on going. More to it, Robocop is just slow, clumsy, not agile enough. He's an easy target and can be disassembled by some primitive tools and even beaten to death by some shitty scrap of metal.T-800s in reality are able of running as fast as cars and even jumping as the newest version the Robocop from 2014 (but it doesn't make sense for them do it). They never show them do it but they actually can maneuver. Remember how T-800 was pounded down by T-1000 on his skull several timse with that giant agregate, this force wasn"t even enough to remove it from action. What would hapen with robocop's head after just one that hit, something terrible. Apperently, he would die almost immediately, because he has a brain. Furthermore, all of his body has many connections to his organic parts, he can be put out of the game much faster than T-800s. T-800's endoskelton is super dense like the strongest tank ever created. Of course, Robocop is able to outsmart an average T-800, he has some tactical wisdom, the same terminator can fight dirtier than Robocop and outsmart him. But, anyway, no way Robocop is more powerful.Robocop without a jetpack is just a can with hevy weapons that he really relies on against dangerous enemies, he doesn't have any real advantage over T-800s. It would probably happen otherwise. T-800 would rip Murphy's head off easily. It's endoskeleton is proven much more durable and constructed of much more dense material, hyperalloy. The Terminator is what Robcop would have been if they decided to fix all of his flaws and make him the perfect weapon, not a cyborg cop.Robocop was outmached by every single opponent even as outdated as ED-209. Not that ED-209 could kill Robocop on its own, but Robocop would be struggling really hard. Whereas T-800 were fighting much more effectively the invincible and stronger machines toe to toe with them. He could take on RoboCain and give it a hard time.Discussing which in summary is even more embarassing for RoboCop
before this fight was uploaded i had never watch any of the terminator movies or the Robocop movies but a few weeks before the fight came on, i decide to give those movies a try so i can understand who would win win movie, and after watching 3 of the 4 terminators movies and all of the Robocop movie i can say that i became a big Robocop fan
just to cover a thought on the lack of mobility for Robocop. you have to consider the idea that Detroit is supposed to be a war zone. typically that means the bad guys more likely won't run, they'll stand and fight it out against anything in their path. so him being constructed like a tank does mean a bit of something. figure in a fire fight he'd have an edge. remember the first movie. people wouldn't run from him, they'd come at him guns blazing. they'd fail, but even a knife wielding punk stood against him. this means him being a walking tank is in his favor. durability over mobility
Robocop killed his own anti twrminator. In his second movie, he killed a robocop 2, a massive model meant to replace him and had far deadlier weapons. But robocop got on his back and ripped HIS humanbrain right out of him.
lol You're able and welcome to suggest (Death Battle) reactions :) I've been trying to watch them based upon which battle has the most support, so suggestions are much appreciated and noted!
Why did they gave the T-850 the T-800 weaknesses? For one The T-850 was able to stop and push back a giant blast door which is designed to withstand a nuclear attack, with one arm and one battery ! Near the end of Terminator 3.
batinthesun has "Super Power Beat Down" episodes that are similar to ScrewAttack!'s Death Battles, only live action, if you ever get bored or want new "Let's watch" material. :)
Terminator 2 was one of those few movie exceptions where a sequel actually out did the first one! But T3 felt extremely rushed in my opinion. Robocop is a hard Rated R! But a good flick overall, once again the 2nd one wasn't too bad but Robocop 3 felt rushed...However that is the film that has Robocop flight pack!
This brings me back to the snes game Robocop vs Terminator .. good times .. good times.
Ris' reaction at 7:36 really shows how brutal and realistic that entire scene was. It's shocking and brutal in one of the most convincing ways.
For people who raged why robocop won:
1.robocop has 3 layers the terminator only has 2
2.the armor robocop had was thickened.
Robocop couldn't have won! he took the ordinance out of his RIGHT leg, not his left
I raged at this Death Battle, not because of who won, but because of how they simulated the fight. There is a list of things I can point out to you that Wiz and Boomstick failed to mention:
Also, RoboCop pulled the Ordnance grenade out of his right leg, not his left leg...
Nothing to discuses..i actualy agree 100% :D
Guys the fight is just for entertainment purpose they decide the winner before!
we know, but i think what he was saying was that they could have been a little more realistic with how the fight would have whent down.
Thanks for making these videos Ris Grestar
Robo cop and terminator are in my child hood memories
Yeah right, the terminator would beat the SHIT out of robo cop. Terminator owns everybody
I'm glad RoboCop won. In my opinion, good will always win over evil. Cheesy I know, but so is macaroni and everyone likes that. XD
The Indigenous Atheist terminator isn’t evil
He protected john Conor to prevent robot wars and the world ending
Robo cop only saved his city so terminator is more of a hero
Then RoboCop Vs Terminator T-100 Advance prototype
Terminator never die
NEVER
Just did
@@reapermaster1233 He'll be back I guess
Reapermaster 123 he shouldn’t have, for a start he would have moved out of the way of the car that was thrown at him, and death battle used the t-800 not the t-850
8:30
oh, he shot through her.."
really? THAT'S what surprised you? The huy holding her WAS SHOT IN HIS MANLY PARTS
Besides Tails Vs. Luigi, Terminator Vs. Robocop was, in my opinion, my favorite Death Battle of all.
I love this Death Battle too.
Link vs Cloud is my favorite, followed by:
He-Man vs Lion-O
Goku vs Superman
and then Terminator vs RoboCop
My favorite without a doubt was godzilla vs gamera
Ryan Sarmanian That one beat out Terminator vs Robocop now too. Godzilla vs Gamera took number four on my list now.
Ryan Sarmanian yes Godzilla rocks
Luigi die make me sad
i remember using this channel to get passed the age restrictions on death-battle episodes. (once those became a thing, god im old)
haha Really? Nice. Glad I was able to be of service :P
@@Ris_Grestar oh! uhhh... thanks, i guess.
Oh, should--should I have not responded?
@@Ris_Grestar no, its fine.
i just didn't expect you to comment, my man :)
Will you be reacting to Epic Rap Battle's of History's Robocop vs Terminator, when it comes out?
Austin Thurmand Alas, no. I don't have permission from ERB.
***** Why would you need permission to react to a video?
Jaymes Shoreman Well, if it were just me on-screen, I wouldn't. But to react to it in this fashion, showing the video I'm reacting to at the same time, would be to violate copyright law*.
*Fair Use is a real grey area. Oftentimes it would come down to which party has the most money.
***** Ah, okay. Makes sense. Love your videos by the way.
Jaymes Shoreman Thank you :)
Robocop is awesome ;D
Yes he is. Sorry Terminator fans but Robocop is just all round more relatable and at times, hilariously entertaining
khanwarrior99 but what about the time terminator TRIED to smile that was the most halarious thing i've ever saw (at least in my opinion) that face tho
And terminator
personally one of my most favorite deathbattles
Same
same
Mine as well.
My favourite is Superman Vs Goku 2
Of course the jetpack still works after getting hit with a grenade launcher then falling onto a car which then exploded
in the comic it turns out that some parts of robocop were used o make the first terminators, which ends up with some weird battle in the future, where robocop takes over skynet and creates thousands of robot copies of himself to fight an army of terminators
i feel like the hydrogen fuel cells would have blown up faster then how they showed it
Well, it didn't really matter, since Robocop was shown to be durable enough to withstand the explosion anyway.
well you have to think that the fuel cell took twice as long to explode in the movie.
hell least two hours or so cause he was shot at night. when he met up with john conner it was day light. figure it's atleast 4am in the parkinglot. and around 6 am when he met up with conner in the truck and took out the fuel cell
there is something i am trying to understand when the cell explode in the movie, did he forced it to explode by itself or did it happen for other reason?
dokuganryu 15 The first fuel cell was damaged in the battle with the T-X, the second was damaged by Arnold himself, to blow up the T-X.
okay, but how long did it took the second fuel cell to blow up?
That was brilliant. Many parts of Robocop's research came from a Robocop miniseries and an old animated series.
Maybe he could have survived the blast, I don't know, but it definitely should have hit him
+bronymon x
he's survived about as much as that explosion could give out, so while he might run out of power, he'd still be alive technically for a bit (if you look at it subjectively)
the problem is mostly that robocop could tank more damage and dish out more than Terminator could handle (poor poor terminator)
he did do well at least
+ANIMANIA I'm sure he could have survived it, but the point remains it should have at least hit him.
bronymon x plot armor
:D
and the fights are meant to be realistic (they wouldnt be as interesting)
Back in the day both robo cop and Terminator were rated R for there gore and violence but the newer ones I think are PG-13
RIP Awesome Robocop toy.
T-1000 would stomp though, but the T-X and T-3000 would just... win.
+Prowlered01
tx would die (due to the weapons robocop has) though it could take control
t1000 and t3000 would probably win though (damn regeneration ability)
Ah nerds
Yeah, sloppy video IMHO,
***** It's a machine. Machines don't grow desperate.
***** So it still has emotions then?
Ryu vs Scorpion just came out, can't wait for you to see it. It was awesome :D
DEATH111183
Firstly in the very beggining of the fight Terminator managed to scan Robocops heart.
Robocop is da winner GET OVER IT FANBOYS
The only reason the robocop win was because he is a hero , the plasma weapon would just destroy him
Robocop only win because hes the good one
lets suggest a Deathbattle: RIVAL SHOWS: Digimon Vs Pokemon, Greymon vs Charizard
Spoilers but did anyone else expect Robocop to sacrifice himself to fly the explosion away from the city?
Were he not able to just chuck Terminator far enough away, yeah, I was expecting something like that.
15:53 Lol "Cool sunglasses." Didn't know that was a weakness.
So i gotta ask, have you seen the epic rap battles of history?
Lee Peffers Not all of them, but a good number, yeah. I think they're fun.
***** actually robo cop is at 2030 and terminator is 2029 so terminator was going to hte future and robo cop has futre sofeware compared to terminators which can easliy be hacked
***** Ris maybe you could do a lets watch on the ERBs? just saying
In Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, there is an anti-terminator called the Terminator TX. It was built to kill other Terminators who were captured and hacked by humans to kill them.
i subscribed to you because i like your opinion
Hey it's dat boi
Man this is still cool reaction
ultron vs brainiac any one who agrees with me pleas repost this comment exactly as it what written!
Loved this battle, close don't know who wins until the last blow and good animation. Can you watch Samus vs Boba Fett?
lol Right? I was kept guessing up till the end. Like, it was close without being "Link VS Cloud" close. :P
I'm gonna go through the videos and tally up votes right now, so we'll see where Samus VS Boba lands :)
Fanboys...they used all the media for both characters. If it was solely based on the movies, Terminator would have won. Robocop won because feats and weapons from his TV series and cartoon were taken into account and Robocop was OP in those medias...
Not that hard to see why Robocop won now is it?
michael germscheid Sure....keep lying to yourself.
I will cause its true.
When they reviewed sonic, they mentioned tv series and comics.
You forget that Robocop is part human, and humans in battle are known to end them creatively.
richardlamborghini true, but all of his feats and stats were from the games
The Terminator vs Robocop part 2 in Mortal Kombat 11. It's a good thing I remember this reaction Episode.
Ok I this is bull crap Robocop's human brain would only slow him down Terminator was designed to think like humans and counter their unpredictability.
Guys in the nineties there was a comic of Terminator vs RoboCop and I'll like all I remember was RoboCop somehow hook them self into the Mainframe and fought Skynet in The Matrix do any of you remember that
i think honestly terminator would win still.
Alaric Francesco The terminator has nothing to harm robocop, even the laser rifle this is why i think this death battle completely unfair and they only made it for attention
...
+starfire 23 what about the terminators hydrogen bombs
Chris Powers robocop doesn't need to worry about them at all,he can just disable all his weapons with only his pistol then get on his jet pack take his cobra assault cannon and just blow the terminator to bits and when the cells get damaged robocop can just fly away
+starfire 23 like how it was in this the jet pack was damaged though somehow it still worked
Also skynet has a camera in each terminator to see what they've done and transfer it back to HQ to adapt a new terminator suit for that area or send in one they already have that they know for sure is capable of completing that task.
Terminator would have won
NeonMojiNinja K terminator would've win this fight
NeonMojiNinja K no
Jam Sadiq yes he would he beat one of the most powerful robots
I guess the reason they hold back specific things is so that the people who have seen them personally can make a better guess as to who the winner will be. Something to single out the Death Battle fans from the people who are familiar with them.
thumbs up if you like RoboCop?
11:22 that moment when a guy threatening to kill a baby in RoboCop looks just like your school's guidance counselor
Well if im made of the same material as the terminator yeah i'd deffinately go for the chance while he's on the floor after crashing to shoot him in the face with my launcher, wouldn't you? it woulda even prevented robo cop from changing weapons and majorly changing the outcome of the fight let along im pretty sure the terminator counts his bullets and wouldn't let the whole ammo thing happen he does have a vast knowledge of all weapons it would make only sense that the most advanced killing machine would count his bullets accordingly. and not let such a amateur thing to happen like that
Lostcheetah
The animation isn't what determines the winner.
Lord Typh i agree with you
Ris, could you react to a battle called Homura vs Mami? It's not a Death Battle, but I really think you should watch it.
It's amazing.
Utter Bullsh*t
Kevin Liu IKR!?
KerfuffleCookies yeah
+Kevin Liu I don't think they could've gotten that MORE wrong
Robo Cop survived a hydraulic press, and the Terminator did not. In fact, everything that killed a Terminator, Robo Cop shrugged off
+Ender41948 The Terminator got crushed by a hydraulic press, but that was after he: got shot at A LOT, got in a car crash, got ran over by a truck, had a gasoline truck explode while he was driving it, sat in fire, had a bomb lodged inside him and have it blow off both his legs and one arm, and after that the hydraulic press killed it. If it was at it's full strength, you don't think it could of held that press?
Robocop and robocop 2 are both on netflix,so if you want to see them you can
You really didnt do anything, you just watched the video and said ohhhh, and i see. Also the midpoint when you told your prediction, it sounded like a 12 year old forgot to prepare for a oral report and he just winged it
first all its called Let's Watch DEATH BATTLE | Terminator VS RoboCop HD if you don't like it than why are you watching than
and ris have 9,000 subscribers and you have 5 so I don't why are you talking
It's supposed to be like a teens react
Free country, free speech so calm down
Asain Chu Your comment is completly moot since you just basically said what he was supposed to be doing, reacting to a video, hence it being called Lets Watch,so instead of voicing your humble opinion your just speaking negetivly or being a troll
Ohhh haha Alright, thanks!
I just haven't taken the time yet. lol
***** Lol. I can't remember if you did either. Well sir, I highly recommend you do the first chance you get. You will love them :)
+Ris Grestar I love your videos
I think they hold stuff back just to keep you guessing who would win because if they say everything you would already know who would possibly win.
Yeah, I'll have to scour Netflix/the Internet to try to find some of the movies. lol
Not a bad idea...lol We'll see what happens.
*****
I'd just stick with the first 2 Terminator movies and the first Robocop movie. The later Robocop movies and tv shows helped him win this fight, but that doesn't mean their good.
comicking428 Thats your opinion, I happen to have loved all three Robocop movies and all the Terminator movies to date. Especially since the last one had my favorite actor, Sam Worthington in it.
SoulKiller7Eternal
It's actually not just his, a lot of people feel that way.
Did u know that the same voice of lion o from he-man vs lion-o voiced robocop as well?
2:06 Yes, several comic book serials was done about that, mostly Dark Horse.
Like the backgroung music you have playing.
Who else noticed that The gun model used for Robocop's cobra was just a Barrette 50?
Bison.
Thank you! It's a system I personally enjoy :)
Alright, your votes shall be counted toward the selection of the next Death Battle!
The context is he'll return with the same person seeing him. It was used by Arnold in the running man and other movies.
before this fight was uploaded i had never watch any of the terminator movies or the Robocop movies but a few weeks before the fight came on, i decide to give those movies a try so i can understand who would win win movie, and after watching 3 of the 4 terminators movies and all of the Robocop movie i can say that i became a big Robocop fan
I love those dj pon3 headphones! Can you tell me where you got those please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
19:48-19:56 THE NOISES HE MAKES I CANT TAKE IT ITS TOO FUNNY XDD
just to cover a thought on the lack of mobility for Robocop.
you have to consider the idea that Detroit is supposed to be a war zone. typically that means the bad guys more likely won't run, they'll stand and fight it out against anything in their path. so him being constructed like a tank does mean a bit of something. figure in a fire fight he'd have an edge. remember the first movie. people wouldn't run from him, they'd come at him guns blazing. they'd fail, but even a knife wielding punk stood against him.
this means him being a walking tank is in his favor. durability over mobility
Robocop killed his own anti twrminator. In his second movie, he killed a robocop 2, a massive model meant to replace him and had far deadlier weapons. But robocop got on his back and ripped HIS humanbrain right out of him.
If we're able to suggest reactions, react to Ivy vs Orchid. KILLER BATTLE RIGHT THERE. and maybe a little bit of the Hyrule Screwjob.
lol You're able and welcome to suggest (Death Battle) reactions :) I've been trying to watch them based upon which battle has the most support, so suggestions are much appreciated and noted!
***** Seriously. #HyruleScrewjob!
HOLY MACRO! I was rooting for T-850 and I was sure he would win, but then I didin't know what a beast Robocop was, that really surprised me
Why did they gave the T-850 the T-800 weaknesses? For one The T-850 was able to stop and push back a giant blast door which is designed to withstand a nuclear attack, with one arm and one battery ! Near the end of Terminator 3.
oh my god i grew up with robo cop and termintion i am so f'ing excited
batinthesun has "Super Power Beat Down" episodes that are similar to ScrewAttack!'s Death Battles, only live action, if you ever get bored or want new "Let's watch" material. :)
Although, they are purely based on a popularity contest...
There are many versions about Terminator vs Robocop but this is better.
Highly recommand you to watch Dr.Eggman vs Dr.Willy. The ending is quite unexpected
If it hasn't been written down already, I'll make sure to count your vote :)
Actually get rid of the vote. Just do all of them XD
when I first watched this,I couldn't decide who would win.
The Mech was Enforcement Droid Series 209.(ED-209). He was the original answer to Detroit's street crime.
People shouldn't dislike this for the original video (besides why would you? this is awesome!!! :D)

Sir your reaction is just like mines when I first saw this video
Hold up, I never knew that he watched mlp.
I have a feeling that there is going to be a part 2 don't you Ris?
i made a comic crossover called "fight comics" the first one was sonic vs terminator, the other is robocop vs eggman
so if he had this much trouble with one Terminator, what would happen if Skynet showed up?
He storms whatever base Skynet is in and blows up anything that ain't human.
