To those who complain about the poor quality of the DeathBattle: It was most likely an experiment of sorts. If you pay attention, the sprites for the two characters involved are quite detailed, but the battle is also quite short. They are most likely perfecting a method of using advanced sprites to produce high-quality DeathBattles in the future. This would include Godzilla vs. ?, assuming it is not 3d. Better to be poor-quality now, than be awesome on a battle many more people will care about, rather than vice versa.
I wonder if this battle would change if they added more feats to Sektor. Two that they missed that I think would possibly change the outcome is that his cybernetic body can withstand the heat of lava as fellow Lin-Kuei cyborg Cyrax can and there is no reason why Sektor would be made inferior. Sektor can also presumably keep up with Sub-Zero who can dodge missiles so he should be faster than Fulgore. With the heat resistance, that could potentially allow him to tank the devastation beam and his speed obviously could help avoid it.
I like death battles like this because I have no connection to either character, having not really played any of their games. It's nice to just be able to enjoy the analysis and the fight.
I'm not sure who they could possibly have face godzilla from a different universe, especiallt after seeing the version of him in the new movie. I was thinking Groudon from pokemon since he is kind of based on godzilla, but he would be like the size of godzilla's foot in comparison.
I'm still in the camp that Cyrax would have been a much better opponent. I mean granted I suppose Sektor might be stronger than him, but Cyrax is just such a more interesting and important character to MK, and one with a more unique arsenal.
It's true that they get rid of a character's pacifism so that they actually would finish their opponents off, but I didn't know to what extent they took that. (And the fact that they mentioned it in the video was a little odd. lol I guess it was just to show that he still had a human side, not necessarily to show that he could be merciful.)

even without it fulgore is way more aggresive...sektor is faster but he doesn't really have the advntage anywhere else. Sektor's rockets....countered by laser eyes sektor's flamethrower...fulgore isn't overly harmed by that (facts from KI) Sektor's crusher...fulgore can withstand that. Sektor's light swords.....as they aren't ACTUALLY like lightsabers...they don't cut through stuff so really Fulgore's blades counter them. they also didn't even include Fulgore's full arsenal into this fight...so yeah...Fulgore totally wrecked Sektor.
Cyborg - Humans with cybernetic prosthetics or machines with organic components. Android - Mechanical and/or Bio-mechanical engineered machines that imitate humans. Robot - Machines created with computer artificial Intelligence (AI). If Fulgore had the actual brain put into the skull or where ever, Then he would be classified as a Cyborg. But if the brain was digitized into program code for his AI unit, then he is classified as a Robot.
+Enker Zan You forgot two: Mech - large (often humanoid) machine piloted by people from the inside Automaton - Free-thinking machine (think the Reploids from MegaMan)
Cody Hines Technically, Protoman, Megaman himself and Bass proved to be automatons and not just simple robots. Specially if you consider the ending of megaman 7, you can clearly see why megaman is an automaton. Protoman thinks freely all the time, same thing as Bass. Bass only has an objective, which is kill megaman, but he does it the way he wants, even disobeying Dr Wily's orders just to achieve his goal. So, not only reploids from the X saga
Zero Gamer I not really that familiar with Megaman. Other examples I could've used include Astroboy, Nano (from Nichijou), any Transformer, and arguably C-3PO and/or R2-D2
I'm sure someone else told you this, Ris, but one rule in Death Battle is that any merciful traits that would stop a fighter from getting the kill is taken out of them to make things fair. Otherwise, some of the fighters wouldn't even have a chance of winning.

lol Well, if I weren't watching them for TH-cam, I'd probably have watched all of them on my own by now. They're a lot of fun. I enjoy seeing the battles that have been animated, but most of all I enjoy the analyses, both because I get to learn more about characters and because Wiz and Boomstick are hilarious. But I keep recording my reactions and uploading them to TH-cam because a lot of people really seem to enjoy them. If I can provide some amount of entertainment, awesome.

Geesh, this was really close! You could have been right. Fulgore I knew from the very first preview was going to win and that was my gut choice. If he didn't have such a powerful reactor and wasn't armed with such technology(improved upon tech I might add). The outcome might have been a different tale. After research I wasn't sure. I have played games from both of these series and a crossover between these two would be amazing. Just for mathematics sake Fulgore's plasma attacks can output about 5 times the strength of Venusaurs Solar Beam! Finally. Yeah, I'm off the schneid(as Chris Berman from ESPN would say)!

Android refers to machines disguised as humans or meant to look like them, like the Terminator. The Terminator does have an organism resembling human skin on him, but that's only to allow him to time travel. If an inorganic coating that looked like a human skin were placed on him he would still be an android. Cyborgs are organisms that have had organic parts replaced with machinery. The amount of them that is still from their original body, as Raiden from Metal Gear and Robocop only have their brain and some small bits of their human body left, but are still cyborgs.
It seems to be Robocop vs Terminator again. The larger, slower mech wins because it's tougher and has better ranged weapons. The main difference is that Fulgore can make itself a lot faster by overclocking the reactor. The fight was ok, but it seems to be a bit of a drop in quality from others this season. The Godzilla one should be amazing though. About cyborgs and androids: and android is just a robot that looks human, while a cyborg is a "cyber organism" having both cybernetic and organic parts. As for Wiz being a cyborg, like I said when I told you he was a mad scientist, you can see pictures of his character in the Q&A videos, and he portrays himself as a mad scientist with a robotic arm.

TBH, I had doubted Sektor, even though I have only played MK3 a little. I was surprised that Fulgore was huge and was OP compared, it made sense what happened but hey, I am happy.

I enjoyed this episode but it was lacking a bit. The fight was short and while I don't listen to the fans who preach that SA is biased I can KIND of see where its coming from because with that fight it didn't seem like Sektor had much of a chance even though his ninja skill and missles should have made things tough but they were slow. While I am well aware that the fight scene doesn't matter I feel the fight would be a lot closer and not just Sektor slowly becoming outmatched.
I really wanna know who could even stand up to the King of the Monsters! King Kong or Optimus Prime are out, because Godzilla could LITERALLY step on them. Gypsy Danger, the MMPR Megazord, Ultra Man, and Gamera are the only four things I know that have even a slim chance against him! I don't know.. what do you think?
Most likely it will be Gamera, the other famous Japanese movie monster. Though from what I've seen of Gamera I don't think he has much of a chance honestly. While I haven't seen much of Gamera, the fights I have seen aren't promising for the big turtle. He struggles with monsters akin to Godzilla fodder while Godzilla has triumphed over much more powerful monsters.

It's more likely another being somewhere near his size, such as Gamera, the second most popular classic giant monster from Japan or one of the Jaegers from Pacific Rim.

Yeah, the original Megazord, Gamera, and Ultraman have the best chance. It'll most likely be Gamera though.

Unlikely. The Iron Giant is only approximately 50 ft tall, while even the smallest versions of Godzilla are more than triple that size. It's more likely another being somewhere near his size, such as Gamera, the second most popular classic giant monster from Japan or one of the Jaegers from Pacific Rim.
