High Dynamic Range
WM1 does not have HDR but it does have WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) processes images to ensure clear recordings in bright and dark light. This allows the Dash Cam to combine multiple images at different levels of brightness to create one superior image.
A119 Mini has HIGH DYNAMIC RANGEHDR enables the camera to deliver video with near-perfect exposure in varying lighting situations. It can enhance video quality, especially when it comes to the issue of the front license plate being overexposed at night.
G-sensor
The G-sensor measures shock forces and locks the video recorded at the time. The settings from “low to high” determine the amount of force needed. Depending on your settings you can set the dash cam up to lock the video file recordings.
There is different settings for parking mode, and while you are driving.

Viofo supports up to 256GB WM1 and a high endurance 512gb micro sd card on A119Mini
GPS Built in for both
VIOFO-speed and location data of where video was recorded.

Parking Mode Cable / Low Battery Protection
Viofo - power ground ignition and you must use selector switch on cable to determine low battery protection. Which will be hidden under the dash

Parking Recording Duration:
"On" means the camera will keep recording until the hardwire kits cut the power supply. "1 hour" means the camera will shut down after it gets into parking mode for 1 hour. Keep in mind Low Battery protection trumps everything.

Thank you for the comparsim. According the video footage the FOW of the WM1 looks wider compared to the A119 mini. Did you verify the specifications somehow?
I have no way of verifying FOW at this time. Maybe in the future.
Whats your conclusion regarding image quality during day/night? I like the wm1, but in your video, road signs & nr. plates when facing the headlights, signs/plates seem to always reflect to a degree that they cannot be read anymore... Were the cameras mounted the same height? Also when approaching the exit of the tunnel, the wm1 seems to be “blind" for a long time until adapting to the new light conditions and showing the road outside the tunnel. Also, I thought that WDR should give better results then HDR for videos/moving images but it seem the opposite in your test to me ? What would be your pick based on image quality?
The Viofo A119Mini definitely was overall better for image quality. (Keep in mind the A119 Mini 2 was just released) Should receive new product soon and have videos of performance soon. I typically mount all dash cameras at same height when testing to keep it fair. The tunnel test is always good to show how well a true HDR camera performs. I would still pick A119 Mini over WM1. But there are a few customers that just love the fit and finish of WM1.
How come the WM1 with 135 degrees angle feels more zoomed out than the A119 mini with 140 angle?
someone was trying to fogure out why the field of view is different on most of these dashcams. Not a lot of consistency in specs.

Wm1 sucks at night over exposed and washed out in low light also no difference in zoom plate comparison. On the a119 did u have filter over the lens???
No we did not use any CPL filter
