    Another great and informative video. Fuse taps. That is what we call them in the automotive industry. Great timing on this video as we are looking into getting cameras for our vehicles. Thank you.

    I have the previous version and love it for my daily driver. I need something for my new RV. Nice to see this new one.

      PS The filter is well worth it to assure good quality pictures in all light environments.

    I have the A 129 pro duo ! Got it March of this year had it installed while in Wichita Ks. I don’t have the tools to take the trim out to get back to the rear window . I also have the remote control button . I have the UV filter just have not installed it yet. And I had it hard wired as well.

    I have noticed most of you videos have become all information or sponsorship. I sure do miss your travels.

      We try to mix both travel and product reviews based on viewer feedback. Unfortunately with rising fuel costs, longer distance travel has become very expensive. Comparing our channel to others, we get a couple of thousand views when compared to some of the more successful RV creators. We receive a very small amount of income from TH-cam views and our affiliate links, but with these fuel costs, increases in campground fees, and all expenses associated with the elements to produce the video and website, we are funding most of our efforts from our own pocket. We truly love RV life. And greatly appreciate everyone who watches our videos. We’ve said little about the rising cost of travel and our video efforts, but if things don’t improve in the future, we may have to make some substantial changes to the channel.

    Very informative! Detailed and easy to understand. Curious, and it may be in the instruction. On our Class A motorhome, would it be better at the top of the windshield or the bottom? I have to stand up to reach the top, but would want the best angle for recording. Keep up the good work!!

      Also, I like the hard wire method for our RV, but would like to be able to take it out and put it in our Jeep when we are driving that vehicle. Maybe the plug and play for that use?

    • @iLoveRVlife
      @iLoveRVlife  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks. For the Class A you’d have a better view closer to the dash. No hood to interfere with the view. The camera lens can be easily adjusted for the best view.

      Just order a second GPS module for the Jeep. Here’s a link to purchase amzn.to/44O3tGa Slide camera left and up and it comes off the module. You can the then move to the Jeep.

    Jerry, you said it’s recording in 4K… But when I go to Amazon it says it’s 2K??? Does that make much of a difference or am I not looking at the same one that you have in your video?

    • @iLoveRVlife
      @iLoveRVlife  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Apologies. I misspoke it is 2k. The dash cam video is very clear and detailed.

      And the list goes on…chips or French fries, crisps or cookies. I still don’t know what bits and bobs are 😏

    Jerry: Well, that was some timing.
    I was doing some research for a dash cam for my motorhome, because my wife said it would be a good idea.
    Having said that, I'm a little apprehensive about using 3M tape for a (semi) permanent installation to my windshield.
    I'm wondering if you could use electrostatic-style piece of sheet plastic/window film, then affix the 3M pad to that.
    If I had a reason to remove the camera, I wouldn't have to use a heat gun (or something invasive) to try to pry it off the glass.
    Am I making any sense???
    BTW: Thanks so much for the recommendation & info!

    • @iLoveRVlife
      @iLoveRVlife  ปีที่แล้ว

      The camera came with electrostatic sheets to apply if desired. Thanks for watching and good to hear you found the video helpful.

    Does the viofo a119 mini2 record audio?

    • @iLoveRVlife
      @iLoveRVlife  ปีที่แล้ว

      It does. There’s a button on the front of the unit to turn it off or on.

    Fuse tap? Could that be what it is called?
    I prefer using circuit breakers where practical and where critical, like lighting at night auto reset circuit breakers in series with a fuse so when a failure does happen there will be blinking for a short time instead of sudden failure.

    • @iLoveRVlife
      @iLoveRVlife  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It is a fuse tap. Doesn’t eliminate the fuse, just gives a way to add to the existing circuit. Handy, preventing the need to hack up the wiring.

    The thing you call a cheater is called an "add a fuse".
