What cell phone plan is best to use with your blackbiew dashcam? I was told they don’t sell plans for dashcams. What is the best plan I can get for the dashcam: a cellphone plan or a tablet plan?

Does the parking mode only works with the the hardwire kit because when I hold the mic button it appears a parking logo but I set on my app a motion detection but why it needs to record and this beeping is annoying 🫤

So bottom line should I get A229 pro 3 channel or the N4 pro? which one has better low light/night license plate capturing?

Excellent work Ben. The D21 4K super low power consumption impact parking mode is unbeatable. Do you think Viofo can simply add this, or will it take a complete ground up redesign? Excellent review. The has helped me decide on my next cam. You pretty much summed it up perfectly. I was leaning towards the U3000 for low power consumption during parking mode and heat resistance. But love the video quality of the Viofo cams. I currently have a A129 pro and had to reduce the resolution because it overheats when recording at 4k in the South Florida sun. The Vueroid fills the gap. Has low power parking mode recording and better video quality than the U3000. The Viofo still has a slight edge with video quality though. This Viewroid seems like a great option all-around. This will be my next cam. Hopefully Vueroid listens to your suggestions and continues to improve the cam with firmware updates.

Thanks for the how to video. Today i sucessfully installed a dashcam in my 2024 F150 took me a little over an hour to install. Originally I was going to use fuse taps but after watching your video I did it as per your video. Only thing I did different was add 2A fuses to the dascam cables. Dashcam works great and looks professionally done. Thanks again for your DIY video.

Dashcam looks similar to a Thinkware U1000.

What’s bad about this is if I’m trying to figure out where I was on a route, I can’t on the fly, see where a particular vide is. My Zunfly can do this right off the cameras original onboard video without downloading! It’s very disappointing and makes this quite useless.

How to see back camera without using app? If I check in PC, I cannot find the button to switch to review back camera angle.

How long will the vueroid go in parking mode before it drains the battery? Not sure if I need a battery pack or not. Car get driven every day and will be in parking mode while at work for 8 hours.

When you are gone to work, do the neighbors visit your wife and ask why her husband swings trash cans at cars in the dark? 😂 I like the CPL filters as there are times when the sun and windshield angle of a car behind me makes it difficult to see the driver and if they are on their cell phone, same for cars in the front of me or approaching me. Over-all, I like the image quality of the D21 4K better than the other cameras it was pitted against. I pause your videos a lot and look closely at things other than license plates and the D21 is doing very, very well. I am %99 convinced I will buy their 2025 offering of the D21 4k or its replacement. Again, you have produced another excellent video with good information. Bravo!!

As an installer, whos seen and tested it all, what do you think about an oversized , easily removable, vented cover for the A229/ A329 with all its connections to make it blend in with vehicle winshields sensors. You know, to make it less obvious to would be thieves should they happen to look up at the windshield. Thoughts.

The good thing about a CPL filter is that it protects the lens from dust and scratches. As for the footage, whether you use it or not doesn’t make much difference-just my opinion.

Hi there, thanks for making this video, very informative. I have a question: for parking mode, does A229 automatically detect any impact or movement without power source? I know the cigarette adapter will turn-off if the car is off. Do I need to install fuse box or something to keep this running while parking in the parking lot? Sorry if you think my question is silly, I'm a female don't know much about things like this. I just need to understand what I need to have to make sure everything is running the way it supposed to. Thank you.

You have obfuscated the problem ! You should be answering the question: "What characteristics of power does every particular dash cam wire need ?" 1) Always powered, even when ignition key is off or removed; 2) powered when ignition key is in the 'Accessories power' position; 3) powered only when key is in the 'Run' position. There are only these 3 possibilities. 'KISS' it and find out what each wire needs then find an appropriate fuse or wire to tap into that has it. (KISS = Keep It Simple, Stupid !)

The redtiger F77 has front and rear 4K. Does viofo offer this?

Great video thanks. On the 2024 installation it looked like the gray wire was constant power and the red with brown tracer was the accessories wire, is that correct?

My friend was in an accident yesterday, and the information of the other driver she was given was fake. I’m trying to help her get the dash cam footage. This video does not explain what app is used to view the footage or how to pair the camera to a phone. I’m not seeing a Bluetooth button on the camera. I understand that every camera is going to be different but it’s still pretty frustrating not being able to find any decent tutorials specifically about how to get the footage from the camera.

I'm not sure where you see where the video of the Viofo A139 Pro is better than the Thinkware U3000🤔 To me, the Thinkware U3000 looks more natural, while the Viofo A139 Pro has a more yellow effect. Can you please elaborate?

Man i hooked up my f77 today, gotta say I’m super unimpressed, i was really hoping with the imx678 it would give a decent image. All the video i get from it at 4k 30 looks super compressed with blown out highlights. Reading license plates that are anywhere but right in front of you is a fools task. I messaged redtiger and was told they plan on firmware updates for it, and i hope they can optimize it drastically, higher bitrate or fps with better light handling is needed asap!

That tip about the pick for removing the A-pillar is exactly why I watch your videos! Another great job showing the installation of a dash cam.

I have a Xiaomi 700 mai pro. If i don't want the parking features, cause the red wire is draining my batteries in less that a year, can i just connect the yellow one and use it only when the car is running without reprecautions to my battery? Pls answer guys, it is the third battery i am changing every 11 months. Can the camera work with only the yellow wire?
