    Great video. What's the overall rooftop height on yours? I'm doing the Mopar 2" lift and adding 35" KO2s. I'm hoping mine will still fit in my garage!

    Grate video! Do you know why jeep 4xe with mopar 2” lift, seats lower than regular jeep? I mean the clearance is less, specially in the back side

    • @TylerPotter

      That is a good question, the 4xe is the heaviest Jeep due to the hybrid drivetrain so I'm not sure if it's a weight issue or what? Thanks for the view!

    So you can run 37s with just the Mopar 2inch lift? No additional modifications?

    • @TylerPotter
      @TylerPotter  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes with a Rubicon due to the high clearance fenders you can clear 37's with the Mopar 2in lift. Sport, Willys, and Sahara trim levels can clear 35's with the Mopar 2in due to the lower fenders. Thanks for the view!

    I am buying a Rubicon 4xe. Do you know much ground clearance will I gain with just the 2 inch mopar lift and stock tires? I don't want bigger tires, just more ground clearance for off road use.

    • @TylerPotter
      @TylerPotter  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Under with axle clearance will remain the same due to the stock tires, but bumper and chassis clearance should add roughly 2in with the lift only, some guys report getting closer to 2.5-3in with the Mopar lift. Thanks for the view!

      @@TylerPotterThanks for the reply. I just did a 3 inch lift on my Ram Rebel, I noticed that in the independent front suspension, I gained a true 3 in lift including the axle clearance, to get that on a solid axle I would need to put 37 inch tires on! Too bad the rear suspension is not independent like the front. 😀 Now I understand how the new Land Rovers can do so well with out big tires.

I've seen so many other videos of people just going on and on for endless upgrades required for 37s. What other upgrades would you suggest for a 4xe with 37s?
    Is re-gearing even a thing for 4xe's? Brakes? Axles? Ball joints? Planning really only for 15-20% off-road/overlanding/tahoe... Thanks again for your videos.

    • @TylerPotter

      We have done a lot of Jeep's (and a few 4XE's) with the Mopar lift and 37's and with the 8 speed they still move down the road great. With as many as we have done I would think if we were going to have ball joint or axle issues we would have seen them by now since we have been lifting JL's since 2018. If it were mine I think I would be leaving brakes, axles, ball joints stock. ect. we just really haven't seen any issues. I would be doing some sort of tire carrier/tailgate reinforcement though. Yes, we have done A LOT of Rubicon JL/JT's with the Mopar 2in lift and 37's. As long as they are the 8 speed automatic they still drive great down the highway. I believe the lift is currently $1695 through Mopar, the labor free if installing your self or if having a shop install it, it would vary depending on the shop labor rate. I think our shop is around 700-800ish for the labor. Thanks for the view!

      With the Mopar lift and the corrected caster angle they really do still drive great. What you said about the lift options is not true at all. Almost every suspension company offers specific kits and springs depending on 2-4 doors, v6, diesel, or 4xe. Just wanted people watching this to know that you don’t have to go with the over priced mopar lift to get the correct lift. I just ordered a 4” lift for my eco diesel and it was specifically for the eco diesel. Also slightly more expensive but not much.

    • @TylerPotter
      @TylerPotter  3 ปีที่แล้ว
