@6:28 to 6:38 , it looks like there is a light bar underneath the tailgate and above the bumper. Is that a factory option?

You’ve driven the tundra and the Tacoma now. What are some pros and cons? Do you think they learned a few things from the tundra and improved them in the taco?

What are the light strips under the tailgate? Is that a Canada thing or an aftermarket accessory? Haven’t seen those lights on any other video.

Nice looking truck. Its amazing these midsize trucks cost as much as a half ton. I wish it was out when I was looking to buy a truck. I got a Chevy Silverado Trail Boss Custom. I really like it but I wish I could have looked at this new Toyota as well. I got a really good % rate 3.7 when most ever thing was in the 8% is another big reason I got the Chevy.

I wonder how much this model is going to be in CAD with all the dealership markup.
I really wanted to get the gen 3 but Im willing to wait on this one. Hopefully the prices arent too crazy😂

I got rid of my gen 3 taco because it was so bad. Horrible gearing, poor throttle response, shifty transmission, poor mpg, lack luster power, and very outdated tech.
Bought a 23 frontier pro4x and I can’t believe how superior it is. More hp, more torque, super comfortable, better mpg, quick accelerations, awesome transmission shifts, and the tech is so much better. Best decision ever.

I am glad I got my 2013 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 TRD OFF-ROAD road with 59000 miles on it at $19000 on Feb 2020! Prices have gone up to the roof!!! I can't justify spending $50K on any vehicle!!!

    • @ginoaluzijr9522
      @ginoaluzijr9522 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

It only has 5,900 miles on it. You don't need a truck. You can go another 15 to 20 years before you will need another truck. By then you will need $75,000 to $100,000 to buy one. I suggest you start saving for it today.

My first Toyota truck in 95 had a 2.7L 3RZ 4 cylinder. It was not super powerful for speed or towing, but it was very reliable.
Problem with 4 cylinder engines is that they usually work 50% harder than 6 cylinders of comparable design.
Having said that, I got 356k miles out of the 3RZ before the engine had a water jacket failure in the head.
    My 07 FJ Cruiser has 510k on the 4.0L 1GRFE 6 cylinder.
A 4 cylinder engine can last a long time, but not as long as a similarly designed 6 cylinder.
How long the engines last will be a function of how well the owners keep up with the maintenance, the quality of the oil used, and also how much they abuse their rigs.
Personally, I would rather have a naturally aspirated engine vs turbo/SC design from a longevity standpoint.
Yes I know mpg is worse with V6 vs 4cyl. Longevity and reliability are my primary concerns.

The NA 4 cylinder Tacoma's are perfect trucks for hardware/lawncare runs. One of Toyota's most reliable setups.
