In response to a few people wondering why I put “Netflix’s ARCANE” In the title. When we talk about LOTR we think of the distributor Warner bros, not New Line Cinema. Essentially I use Netflix as they are the distributor of the series, “A Netflix animated series”. Also they are the most widely known, which is good for the algorithm. Furthermore, Netflix is the place to watch the show. I do credit RIOT and Fortiche in my video, I even have a whole section discussing their impressive work. While no one has moaned about this, few have mentioned it to the point I felt the need to clarify why Netflix Is used instead of RIOT or Fortiche. Also, thank you all for the kind words. The love and support for this video and the channel recently is something I’m very grateful about.
While i do agree Netflix is the most popular, it actually isn't by a lot. There are a lot of league players ya know, and while the name "Riot" is far less well known, I had to look up whether there were more league players than Netflix subscribers or vice versa, which says alot. To save you some time digging into google search, 223 million Netflix subscribers vs 117 million active lol players worldwide. Twice as large, but certainly not orders of magnitude between the two.
Just let people piece that together for themselves because, TRULY, it's extremely inconsequential detail to the overall content of the video lmao plus, more comments = more engagement = higher in algorithm.
A friend made me watch this show a few weeks ago (I'm normally a grumpy joyless sod who hates/dislikes most TV/films). Couldn't believe how good this show was, I think the closest thing to perfection I've ever seen in TV or film.
lol literally exact same story as you I never watch shows in general I always thought they just took up too much time and investment. I hadn't watched a show since like season 4 or 5 of Game of Thrones. Big movie guy though. My buddy who is a huge Netflix watcher who watches like everything tried so hard to convince me like early in the year to watch it and I refused. He finally convinced me to sit down and watch it like 2 months ago and I've been obsessed ever since. It is the best show I've ever seen and it is near perfection in almost every aspect from the animation, to the score and sound effects, character development, story writing and most importantly the emotional power. I think by now the creators responsible for this masterpiece are aware its a major success but I wonder if they know just how good this show really is. I mean there's really nothing to even compare it to. The only thing that comes even close in my mind is the first few seasons of Game of Thrones. I would actually pay a decent chunk of money to watch a Fortiche animated version of like the first 3 seasons of Game of Thrones to see how it compares since animation frees up a ton of restrictions that exist in live action.
@@mistfitsable This! I'm always saying the same thing: animation has not the same limitations as live action and especially GoT would've benefited so much from it (like a lot of fantasy stuff). I would LOVE to see GoT as an animated series remade, far closer to the books. I hope titles like Arcane can pave the way for more adult animation
That final scene of episode three, when Powder ping-pongs through emotions, was by far the single greatest performance ever given by a voice actor in my humble opinion.
It has been like a year and I still watch arcane content almost every day, I just can't wait for season 2 and what comes after. This was a really well made video, you even watched the behind the scenes, which I was about to suggest. Fortiche and Riot have put a lot of effort and passion on this series and it absolutely shows, Netflix deserves no credit whatsoever, so it kinda triggers me a bit seeing that name together with Arcane, but I guess it lets people know where they can watch the show.
I am so split on season two... So often I have watched greatness made mediocre by a sequel. (Looking right at you Predator 2, Alien 3, and Everything Disney these days) I would almost rather hold the Masterpiece that is Arcane as it is than see it tarnished by a second season that can't meet the standard of the first.
Yeah, I'm a bit scared as well. What makes me optinistic is the fact that they are NOT a big studio, have the full backing of Riot and really did their thing for season 1, so I don't believe they will let some money-hungy morons mess things up. And I'm pretty sure they already had things figured out for a season 2 at least before the first was even released. I just hope they take the time they need. I'll gladly wait a year longer if it gives them the opportunity to perfect it.
@@2BrainCellsWriting Yes. What makes me optimistic is, watching the behind the scene (arcane bridging the rift, a really interesting watch), you realise that after making the pilot, they decided "No. It's not good enough. We have to start over." That's something that rarely happen (or, when it happens, the project is then just scrapped and deemed a failure). Here, they started over, and succeeded in making this a masterpiece, probably better than if they had just decided after this difficulty "nah, good enough, go on." If they care enough about the quality to do that, then I am cautiously optimistic they can achieve the same consistent level of quality for season 2.
I have to disagree with characterizing the songs as a "wobble". I feel that the 11 pop songs, which were written and purpose-crafted specifically for the series, were brilliantly integrated into the show, though I would agree that putting Imagine Dragons themselves into the diegesis was a kind of fan service we really didn't need. But I don't think the three Act finales would have had as much emotional punch if it weren't for the songs that appeared in them: "Goodbye", "Guns For Hire", and "What Could Have Been". And the other songs added incredible energy and texture to the scenes they accompanied. I give Riot top marks for the songs, as well as for the score (which is stunningly beautiful and evocative).
I wanna further point out that every single song on the soundtrack was MADE for the show, by the people running it. NONE of the songs were shoehorned in, to the point where they music was written around the scenes they were paired with not the otherway around. And even if we didn't 'need' ID in there, I like that they were put in. They are for us olderfans one of the faces of LoL, themselves pretty huge fans. Fanservice isn't a dirty word, it's just often used too liberally in place of actual content and depth. Where as here it was used Alongside of said content and depth and I appreciated it.
I was going to say something along the same lines. The only one that felt 'off' to me was Our Love in episode 2, which has more of a late 60s/early 70s vibe that kind of clash with the overall setting. The Imagine Dragons insert is my second 'least favorite' though it gets a pass because it throws out a line in the opposite direction that connects the Enemy music video to the actual series. Everything else was pure perfection.
Imagine Dragons was animated into the show as a favor to the band - and was done so before the creation of the Enemy music video, which kind of made the cameo redundant
Yeah I really like the soundtrack too some of the songs are magic. When it comes to music critique you can't let personal preference get in the way. In this context it's about musical ques and if the soundtrack or ost enhances the scenes which it most definitely did. So with that in mind yes that is a fail on this particular youtubers behalf.
Silco IS the villain. Hes not evil tho. There is a difference. His cause is actually juste, he is in the right. He just goes about it in an unacceptable way, his methods is what makes him the villain, not his motivation or ambition. This is why he is such an fantastic character. You KNOW he is the villain but you cant not see the human within. He is still a person, capable of good and empathy, only twisted by environment and circumstance into something dreadful and dangerous. Silcos monologue to Vanders statue is imo the best scene of the show. He called Vander a cowards for not fighting cuz he didnt wanna risk his girls. Ending up in the same situation, Silco cant give up Jinx. "Not for anything", his ambition, his drive, everything he fought for, blood, sweat and tears at his very finger tips... But he cant do it. "it all makes sense now, brother... Is there anything as undoing... As a daughter". Fakking perfection.
I think the word you're looking for is antagonist, which is defined as someone who is opposed and/or hostile to a person (often the protagonist) As opposed to villain which is defined as someone with EVIL intentions relevant to the plot.
Silco used children as test subjects for horrific human experimentation to create a hyper addictive, incredibly destructive and lethal drug purely as a means of grabbing wealth and power for himself. Yes he is absolutely evil. Even if he wasn’t also an abusive monster, which he absolutely is, this one thing alone would put him in the company of some of real lifes most vile human-beings.
Villain doesn't quite strike the right note in this case. More aptly I'd say you're wanting to describe an antagonist. Villains are evil. Villains are antagonists by nature, but not all antagonists are villains. A character's motivations act as the degree of separation between the terms. He uses the resources he has available and doesn't shy away from doing what he feels is necessary (the base violence necessary for change) to achieve a new beginning for Zaunites. He knows there will be consequences and that his actions will get people killed, but right vs. wrong doesn't really enter the discussion when what's at stake is the survival of your people. Right and wrong are a luxury for those who have choices.
He's definitely evil. If we define evil by the immorality of his actions, he is clearly evil. He is also not a great father, even though he is involved and loves Jinx. People shouldn't defend Silco's choice just because they are rational - they are still evil. While the show does paint in shades of grey, it's not relentless. It's not everyone. Caitlyn isn't "as dark as she is light". Silco isn't as good as he is bad. Marcus isn't a deep character just because he questions himself - he is a foil. None of this is to suggest Silco isn't a brilliant character, and one of the best villains in recent entertainment. He is, and he's nuanced and complex. But in that nuance isn't a whole lot of 'good'. He's evil and that's okay.
Every rebel is a villain to the current power holders. Thats why every rebelgroup are labelled as terrorist, they fight against the current power structure. And these lines of badguys or goodguys are often so thin.
It's wild that an animated series has better facial acting than any live action media I have ever seen. And the voice acting is just... perfect. Jinx (both kid and adult) is one of the most well-realised characters ever.
8:52 In the end, Vi don't understand Jinx. Vi called out memory of good old days with family but for Jinx. Those are her greatest mistakes... remind Jinx of families who she had killed is only going to break her, not help.
She's also trying to save her girlfriend, and she's attached, so she can only talk. So, yes, she doesn't know her sister anymore, and she ends up wounding her mentally even more. But it's not really her fault. And she does succeed in saving Caytlin from Jinx
That one shot between Silco and Jace on the wall is such a masterpiece. Jayce has an open porthole behind him, with the sun beating down on his back. He has no more ill intent, nothing left to hide. Behind Silco's back is a cannon, shrowded in shadows.
We watched the series on a boring night in our barracks. Had on-call duty (paramedics). We were captivated from the first minutes. Watched the series in one go. Since then I've watched it three more times and I'm still deeply impressed by the details, the music, the characters. Even the third time, the story hurt deeply. It's weird when you hear Sting at the end and hard veterans have tears in their eyes.
My mom doesn’t like animated movies/series but I begged her to watch Arcane with me. With a bit of conviction, we tried the first episode. At the end of the second one, she already had a favourite character (Mylo, she found him funny) and already planned every couples (for her, Viktor has a crush on Jayce who prefers the « beautiful council girl » but since Jayce has a hero face, he will end up with Vi). We are now at the 5th and she told me that we HAD to have one entire day to watch the end in one go!
@@clarencesiason8349 Sorry for the late answer. She loved it, but she can’t believe the missile exploded. She really think something is going to happen to save all the characters. Also she couldn’t believe the music was so good and since she loves Imagine Dragon, she was really into it. Also she said the show was very violent!
And even more importantly with Vi is that she's convinced that Jinx is only behaving the way she does due to Silco's malign influence - so she thinks she's been brainwashed rather than just grew up that way, which are two distinct things
As someone who played League many years ago Viktor was my favorite character, modeled after a twisted Tesla. It's hard to tell if the more magical nature of his change rather than a transhumanist approach will affect his character or not, but once his transformation really begins Fortiche is going to go wild with his abilities and I'm hyped. Such a damn tease to get all those other characters' abilities animated to such a high degree and all we get of Viktor is the laser almost killing a poro. I'm ready for the Glorious Evolution!
That's all we've gotten for Viktor and yet everyone is already obsessed with him. Heads are literally going to explode when they watch future seasons lol.
@@JustAcritic personally I expect the announcement to come at the end of the world championship (so in a few weeks) and for it to either start in may/June (after msi) or in a year from now (again after with the later being more likely
If I had to take a guess, I'd say autumn 2023. 2 Years after season 1 realease. Why so much shorter than 6 years for season 1? First, it was not really 6 years, as they had a hiatus of about 2 years, having to restart. So it was 2-3 years full blast ahead. Second, Fortiche started with a relatively small team, that expended considerably. They also had to craft their art, because no one had done it that way before. Now, with a huge team that have mastered their craft, achieving the same quality in less time (but still taking time, 2 years, considering they had started even before season 1 was released) seems possible. If it is 2 years, they could announce it very soon then, at the 1 year birthday of the show or rather slightly later, but probably before the end of the year. Depending on how far in the project they are, of course.
@@leovk5779 RIOT is also now a part owner of the animation company (Fortiche) who animated the show. It's also notable that normally, at this time of year, RIOT's music team and Fortiche would be releasing the Worlds anthem and animated video to go along with it, but instead they handed that job off to lil' Naz-x and a different animation studio. They are heavily focused on Arcane S2.
Mia was 11 at recording. The fact that she didnt get an award for her performance is a fakking joke. Its the best VA performance Ive ever heard by a mile and a half. Nothing Ive ever heard is even remotely close.
It's been a year. The hype train is long gone. Yet the show remains as fantastic as ever. Every time I think about it a million considerations of story and character and world building pop into my head. There's so much to the show, and it's always fun to think about and talk about. When the cinematics and animation are that gorgeous, but the things that stay with you mostly have to do with the storytelling, you know you've got a masterpiece.
I had to give you a subscribe after this video. You perfectly put into words my feelings on Jinx, Silco and Vi, and their relationship with one another. I think a lot of people miss Vi harming Jinx and Silco lifting her up because they are so accustomed to being *told* how to feel about characters. Silco is bad, so obviously his influence on Jinx is bad. Vi is good, so obviously her influence on Jinx is good. One of many, many things that makes this show spectacular is the fact these tropes were turned on their head entirely. Vi was terrible for Jinx despite being a good person. Silco was good for Jinx despite being a terrible person. They took a big gamble making a bold statement like that, but it paid off phenomenally even if many people missed the nuance entirely. I went into the season looking forward to Silco dying while rooting for Vi. I ended the season crying when Silco died and wishing it had been Vi. The whole journey was a roller coaster and I cannot wait to see where the story goes from here. I would even be okay with my favorite character (Jinx) being a background character as we flesh out other, possibly new, characters with the same attention to detail they gave Jinx. I just hope if they decide to kill off canon LoL characters, Vi's death isn't at Jinx's hand, or vice versa, because the poor girls have been through enough already.
I have always adored animation. There are plenty of stories that just don't work in live action, and our culture's obsession with adapting animated stories into live action ones to "legitimize" them is a huge disservice to the art form. Animation deserves to be viewed on equal footing with live action filmmaking and I really hope Arcane is a step towards making that a reality. Because goddamn what a show.
I love how this show makes magic feel like a character as well as a horrifying force of nature. I think this show does for Steampunk what The first Matrix did for Cyberpunk and I am so hyped for season 2.
That’s true they spell it differently. Nice spot, I missed that on my checks cos I assumed it to be how it’s spelt like the word. Glad you enjoyed the vid!
Arcane was a marvel. Never thought I'd get to witness something like this happen. Didn't miss a beat, from the very first scenes on. The last minutes of episode 3 will stay with me forever. Absolute masterpiece.
It's NOT an original netflix series, in context there is only credit to be given to riot and Fortische Production, Netflix only happens to be the platform, Netflix maybe is the reason many started watching the series, but it's not the reason it exists, it's like saying, "hey, have you seen Netflix's Avatar, the last airbender animated series", though actually not even that, because Netflix probably has less rights on Arcane than on other licensed series
I was already a fans of LoL but I’m so blown away with both the cinematic style and the music. This series is prefect. 👏🏼 Thank you for your take on it I loved it!
The only thing wrong with your criticism is that the music video inserts weren't pop songs, but they were all composed to screen by Christian Linke and Mako mostly. Not one of them are songs that aren't original to Arcane, with Enemy being the only one made by someone else but like all the others was a collaboration as Imagine Dragons have been on the record many times saying how much they like League and how they play it on Tour, and have even been late on stage because they were finishing a ranked game and didn't want to get banned.
Have you seen Attack on Titan? Arcane is my second favorite to it. Following Arcane I have Death Note (at least season 1), some of Game of Thrones, and maybe 10-15 Star Wars episodes centering Ahsoka Tano.
Arcane is genre-defining the same way The Matrix was for action movies back in the late 90s. I think though, because it's associated with a video game, it will not gain the same amount of recognition as Pixar works do, sadly. But I think as time goes on, we will increasingly recognize how important Arcane was for animated storytelling and it will gain the public recognition it deserves.
I really like your videos, they are actually great. Just one suggestion,I think you should upload the videos just when the show ends or within 4 to 5 days because maybe at that point of time your videos will reach to larger audience because as I said your content is great no questions to that and maybe you will get more recognition that you deserve.
Yeah, currently I do a mix, since there’s stuff released before that I need to cover. I do also release vids that are close to release of that product, such as my edgerunners. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. Also I do this on the side, it’s hard to watch something in it’s entirety upon release. But Because hotd releases weekly I’ll have something on that come close to when it finishes. Also, thanks for the kind words and watching the vid!
Your video randomly popped up on my explore page and I’m SO GLAD I decided to watch it! I’m a huge arcane fan I’ve watched it back a few times and recommended it to friends and family. After watching your analysis of it I’ve gotten a new appreciation for it lol! Very glad I watched this and can’t wait to see what other videos you have lined up, hopefully more shows I’ve also enjoyed 😂
Anyone who plays the game and read the lore knew it would be fakking fantastic. Our biggest fear was if Netflix got to have a say in the writing... That was literally the only thing that couldve fakked this up. The League of Legends lore is absolutely brilliant, almost flawless. The absolute worst these writers could ever do is still "pretty good". But after what Netflix did to Death Note we were all probably a bit nervous. As it turned out, Riot were smart enough to give them 0 influence. Good job Riot.
Don't worry Netflix does not have a much on saying since all the budget came from Riot themselve. So were pretty good, Riot does a fantastic job on picking studios to expand their company.
It’s a shame so few people know of or have watched this show. It is best media I e seen in several years. I told everyone I know to watch it back when it was released.
How much do you think they plan to expand on this adaptation of "League of Legends" ? I hope it's at the same level of the "MCU". I swear to you, I got so invested in this version of the game's timeline, I've been creating stories for it (so far, I've got a story between Nunu/Willump and Camille, and a story between Jhin and the Kindred). Do you have any stories of your own ?
I watched season 1 about a month ago. I saw other similarities in anime than Harley Quinn. Tanya Degurechaff from youjo senki. Tanya warns a city she is about to bomb it, according to a treaty she has to warn a city so civilians can evacuate. She warns them with a little girls voice so they think it's a prank, then she destroys them. Simular to Jynx taking out 6 enforcers. Grand master sycth from requiem for the phantom seems to of inspired Silco some very similar. Grand master sycth finds freshly traumatized orphan girls on the street ,earses their memories and trains them to be Assassins. Im not complaing about Arcane or Jynx. Jynx is perfect...
As a massive fan of the show, I think you should watch and review The Owl House. It's branded as a "kids show" (it's really not, coming from a 20 year old who adores the show), but has some of the best handling of mental trauma, illness, conflict, and redemption I think I've seen even compared to any live action shows. I think, even if you don't review it, as someone who comes across as being an animation enjoyer, that you'd like it :). (If you haven't already watched it)
the most controversial part of this show being the musical set piece is F*ing baffling to me. some people think it's great some didn't think much of it and some think it takes you out of the experience but not to the point of hating it. this show is just that much of an outlier in greatness.
i wouldn't fully call Silco someone who 'wants what's best for his people'. Cause, let's be real: he's still a crimelord, he pushes drugs through the undercity - through HIS people - for power. Yes, he wants the freedom of the undercity, but he's not afraid to squash people under his boots if they don't help his cause. I would call him someone with strong ideals, yes, but not someone who wants _best_ for his people. He wants what he _thinks_ is best. Whether that also is the best or not, is only up to those people themself
Yeh I see what you’re saying, which is why I acknowledge he is still a criminal but what I mean by he does what is best for his people, is that he does what he believes is best with the methods he deems as the only viable option. And for his people, I specially mean those closest to him. He does exploit people but that’s because for him it’s the only viable way to achieve success for the grander goal of zaun, a place for his people. Thanks for watching as well!
@@JustAcritic I do think he wants what's best for his people, and for Zaun, to an extent. However, when you think about it, his method isn't just "the only viable way", it's the most brutal version of Silco's plan. I don't know if you noticed, but he gets kids addicted to the drug. Children and young adults are the primary people he turns into beastly fighting machines. He's essentially building his own empire by corrupting and destroying the youth of his own city. I think it was brave of the creators to give a single character good traits such as what you mentioned, while also having him basically commit unforgivable war crimes against his own people just to raise himself (and them, kinda) up. I would still call him primarily a villain, but he's a well-written villain.
Hmm, I would disagree about silco. Not hi motivations his technique. Like Vander he is a failed revolutionary, but Silco's failure is in his corrupted vision. He can not see Zaun or Jinx clearly, thus under his rule both deteriorate even as in some ways they grow.
Silco doesn't want what's best for his people as much as pretends. That's obvious with Shimmer and it's effect on the people of the Underground. Would've been more impactful to introduce it to Piltover
I actively hate all but one anime I've seen, and that one anime is not Arcane because Arcane isn't anime. If you haven't already, I would highly recommend watching Arcane, because this video only scratches the surface of what makes this show stand above even the best live action shows.
@@datzfatz2368 Edgerunners is the one I actually managed to watch all the way through and enjoy despite the typical anime tropes that bogged it down. Otherwise friends have showed me a few episodes of Attack on Titan, Full Metal Alchemist and I think 7 Deadly Sins was one. I've tried to watch Catlevania on my own, but it wasn't keeping my interest enough to bear with it. I really don't like pretty much any of the tropes and just general styles of anime, from animation to art style, to voice acting. They just rub me the wrong way. Edgerunners I only even started because I knew I already enjoyed the setting, and then it wound up actually having an intriguing story and characters.

I agree, Arcane surpasses live-action movies. The style and the way it's made has all the advantages of live-action but none of the disadvantages.
@@HimitsuHunter agreed brother
I think the word you're looking for is antagonist, which is defined as someone who is opposed and/or hostile to a person (often the protagonist)
As opposed to villain which is defined as someone with EVIL intentions relevant to the plot.
"Bridging the Rift" - the official making-of series is highly recommended for fans of Arcane
On the animation: the eyes deserve an award on their own. So emotive, so alive!
It's wild that an animated series has better facial acting than any live action media I have ever seen.
And the voice acting is just... perfect. Jinx (both kid and adult) is one of the most well-realised characters ever.
@@martins.4240 not to mention that all of it is hand animated. No mocup, they only used reference material
Another thing to note is they are wearing identical outfits with the colors inverted.
Update what does your mom think?
Yees I watched it with my mum too and she loved it. We're waiting together for season 2
@@lysfranc8782 thats pretty cool my dad enjoys it as well
Love this 'After the hype' series!
Thanks for coming over to watch!
i was _just_ thinking of this show. I should really rewatch it again. It's just... so good
And even more importantly with Vi is that she's convinced that Jinx is only behaving the way she does due to Silco's malign influence - so she thinks she's been brainwashed rather than just grew up that way, which are two distinct things
Hope you guys all enjoy this video!
We sure did!
The only problem with Arcane is that we don't have a season 2 release day yet XD maaaaaan so goood
I believe in will be announced sometime soon
@@babette5918 You mean Riot games is a part owner of Fortiche right? Ok, that makes sense that they concentrate on arcane season 2.
Mia was 11 at recording.
The fact that she didnt get an award for her performance is a fakking joke.
Its the best VA performance Ive ever heard by a mile and a half.
Nothing Ive ever heard is even remotely close.
Awards are rigged, Im surprised Arcane got any awards at all.
Your brain is rigged if you actually believe that.
16:00 I think that the theme of duality is why they had these jarring scenes.
Minor correction: It's spelled "Ekko"
But overall, I agree that Arcane rewards multiple viewing with additional insight
That’s true they spell it differently. Nice spot, I missed that on my checks cos I assumed it to be how it’s spelt like the word.
Glad you enjoyed the vid!
And yes, it is cinematic! All the camera movements, the angles were perfectly chosen. Great cinematography!
there's a 5-part docu on arcane's development in league of legend's youtube page for people who are interested.
100% would recommend
Thank you for your take on it I loved it!
Mia Sinclair Jeness was eleven when she recorded her lines. Simply mind blowing!
It's legitimately the best TV series I have EVER seen - and I am pushing 50 years old, so I'm not a 12 year old fanboy.
What a great channel. How can it be that you don’t have way more subscribers? Man keep up the good work
I really like your videos, they are actually great.
Episode 9 ending song is the best finisher of all time
Your video randomly popped up on my explore page and I’m SO GLAD I decided to watch it!
Greatest show I have ever seen in my 44 years on this rock. It still hits me in the feels and I have rewatched it a disturbing number of times.
Why does everyone keep saying "Netflixes Arcane"? It's Riots hard work.
It's annoying when Netflix gets all the praise for Riot Games' and Fortiche's work.
Same with Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.
@@TurokRevolution I know right. Netflix gets credit just for streaming it.
"...so that the fantastic original soundtrack can shine through more often"
Joke's on you, all the music in the show is original!
Gotta say out of all animation this is the best
It’s a shame so few people know of or have watched this show. It is best media I e seen in several years. I told everyone I know to watch it back when it was released.
How much do you think they plan to expand on this adaptation of "League of Legends" ? I hope it's at the same level of the "MCU".
I swear to you, I got so invested in this version of the game's timeline, I've been creating stories for it (so far, I've got a story between Nunu/Willump and Camille, and a story between Jhin and the Kindred).
Do you have any stories of your own ?

Arcane is the best piece of media I have watched so far. Pretty much everything about it was amazing and perfect
This video high key makes me want to watch season 1 again!
😭 you say that as if season 2 is an option
Does anyone know the name of the intro song he uses?
He never actually provided a link that brings you to it.
Good video !
BTW what's the name of the music at 11:02 please ?
This show got me into Runeterra lore and also as a fighting game player, I'm now eagerly anticipating the league of legends fighting game!
(If you haven't already watched it)
the most controversial part of this show being the musical set piece is F*ing baffling to me.
some people think it's great some didn't think much of it and some think
it takes you out of the experience but not to the point of hating it.
this show is just that much of an outlier in greatness.

very well done, best show I have seen in a while and might the best show ever made, spectacular is right on. great video and very well put together :)
You have an amazing point of view.
Acting and “becoming the character” isn’t above and beyond, that’s standard for animation. Arcane is amazing though
Amazing breakdown 👍
i wouldn't fully call Silco someone who 'wants what's best for his people'.
No word about Caitlyn's character tho..
sorry, but the spelling of ekko's name as echo is a slight annoyance, otherwise great video
Hmm, I would disagree about silco. Not hi motivations his technique. Like Vander he is a failed revolutionary, but Silco's failure is in his corrupted vision. He can not see Zaun or Jinx clearly, thus under his rule both deteriorate even as in some ways they grow.
Yeah you're very late mate but welcome to the playground now haha~😁👌 Very good review btw! One of the best I've seen so far ! watched it full! ✌
Hahaha, thank you!
this video is amazing
RIOT'S ARCANE NOT NETFLIX'S
Silco doesn't want what's best for his people as much as pretends. That's obvious with Shimmer and it's effect on the people of the Underground. Would've been more impactful to introduce it to Piltover
“Netflix’s” Arcane…
It angered me when Mylo yelled at Powder "take a punch or two!"
Like, are you serious Mylo?? SHE IS A LITTLE GIRL goddammit.
I mean, Vi probably took punches at that age
Arcane is the GOAT.

Netflix's League of Legends is spectacular
I'm not interested in anime but your videos are good.
That's a nice comment. There surely is an anime out there for you... no?
Thanks for watching!
This isn't anime though
I actively hate all but one anime I've seen, and that one anime is not Arcane because Arcane isn't anime. If you haven't already, I would highly recommend watching Arcane, because this video only scratches the surface of what makes this show stand above even the best live action shows.
@@eternal7912 out of curiosity, what is that one anime you dont hate? And what else have you seen that causes such disdain?^^
