this is pure gold getting the children involved running the machinery , teach them the right way to operate to begin with! so you farm out any bad habits from the start! we need a hole lot of young people involved in food production! mackenzie is smart young lady and so is your 3 sons love what you do ! jerry in new brunswick canada
That was a blast Ronda. Watching you teach McKenzie how to drive is so funny and sweet all at the same time. Thanks for the wonderful video. You deserve an Oscar for your film making.
I have never seen a more terrified look turn into smiles and laughter so quickly. Anything just takes practice to get good at. You will get the hang of it. Just always remember turn AWAY from the truck...
Rainy day in finger lakes today. Eating my lunch and smiling through the whole video and laughing just a tiny bit 😄 simple laughter does the mind good Thanks 👍
I still can't drive my wife"s John Deer D130! LOL! Kenzie gives a whole new meaning to the "farmer's daughter!"! By that I say an Intelligent, competent and beautiful young woman!
Great job Mackenzie!!! It gives a person a different perspective when changing jobs. You were used to driving the Tandem and watching the chopper. Now you are in the chopper watching the Tandem. You will be a Pro in no time. I remember back when you started learning to drive the Tandem. You were scared then too. But look at you now. You got out of the chopper, jumped in the Tandem, and speed away like a Pro.
She is doing good with what ever she tries to do. She will make s great farm wife if that is what she wants to be. If not she will do great at what ever she decides to do. Love you'll stay safe and God bless. Dan
Looks like McKenzie has a new job- she's a natural at it- great job teaching her- I've always felt growing up in a rural environment was better for children
Great teacher with a very intelligent daughter who catches on fast, from learning to drive a tandem to a farm equipment. Everyone can see that this is not a 8to5 job, it’s can to cannot 👍👍👍👏👏
Well ladies I think your really good doing the harvester I would not know were to start. It’s also nice to see ladies doing that sort of stuff. My daughter is 25 & drives a scania truck over here in uk . Marvellous Whot ya ding keep it up reagards Les from north wales 🏴 uk 👍
Good morning. Great video Rhonda. McKenzie did great especially for her first time. Y'all take care and have a blessed day and I'll see you on your next video.
Wow, I thought there were twins in the cab of that forage harvester. So cool to see the relationship of Mom and daughter working together. Hope to see more of this.
I love it when you and Mckenzie get together on a job, whether it be in the fields, in the barns, or in the kitchen. Just like all your kids, they set their mind on doing something they get it done. Love the videos keep up the good work, and God bless and stay safe and be kind.

Good morning guys glad to see you helping her getting over her fear of chopping she did great love you guys and God bless you and your family stay safe
Decades after the dairy is gone or one has left the dairy, the silage chopper is the one piece of equipment that you still remember the way you remember the cows.
I grew up on a ranch helping dad with the cattle, goats, and horses. I never drove the tractor, which was fine with me, and never wanted to either. Looking back, those were good times...fun times.
Great job mum, she has to learn in case you or kevin gets sick and can't do it so do it slowly like that she will get it and learn to love it. something new. Great job Kenzie remember your mum was just the same she would've nervous but time a practice gets you to the end result. And we laugh with you.
Always love watching you all pitch in when there's crops to harvest, Congratulations Mackenzie!, I remember the first time you drove the tandem, you have learned so much, done so well, of course it's always important to have good teachers teaching you, you do great Rhonda, that was a nice pile of silage put up, it's funny, A lady on Facebook asked why was a nearby farmer here in Connecticut was chopping hay he used to bale, and didn't know if something was wrong, so I explained the whole procedure, why he might chop instead of bale, how it's mixed in a TMR, she was very appreciative, thanks Rhonda, Mackenzie, and Sanders, and the rest for another excellent video
Kenzi did a good job !! Good to see kids do different stuff and not afraid to try, farm kids do experenice lots of things and make them better people and you have some great kids that take on stuff an go with it without having to be watched over like hawks. Kenzi is a truck driver lol she loves that red truck LOL and very confident in that for sure
Another great and funny video now we can wait for chopper jokes along with the cow ones. You and Kevin did a great job raising your kids. Have a safe a d healthy day.
Hey Arces of Clay Family! Hello Mckenzie! 👋 Cool seeing Mckenzie working the chopper! Next thing you know she'll be running the farm! Be safe and blessed! 😁❤️👍
Best way to learn something is just to do it..Have someone calm buddy up to give you pointers as you come across the details. Info overload usually kills confidence. Enjoying these new experiences adds to self belief and that's what it's all about to become independent.
McKenzie I learned how to drive, started running a tractor at 12, and run a combine at 14. Sounds like your mother is a good teacher. It will be good experience for you.
You have mastered the trucks with shifting and using a clutch… I think you can master the chopper…. Stay positive, you have a good family that want to help you learn.
MacKenzie sure looks good running that Forage Harvester for the first time. My favorite method of maintaining a sustainable pantry and stockpiling items long term for the whole family and the family dog and the family cat is what I consider to be the most practical, utilizing every type of food storage methods and technology available, both old and new. . Except for the fruits and vegetables that get canned, I keep perishable items like meat, poultry, fish, fruit, vegetables and dairy products in the refrigerator on a short term basis until I'm ready to use them for a big family meal - and for even longer term sustainable storage, a large separate freezer, which can store a half side of beef with plenty of room left over for homemade ice cream etc. . I'm considering upgrading to a walk-in freezer at some point.in the near future, if my plans to open a bed and breakfast come to fruition. Sometimes, however a nice round of cheese can do well for quite awhile on a pantry shelf at room temperature - and doesn't mind even if it has to stand there alone.😁 Store bought canned goods get shelves.in the large pantry closet - several for canned meat like corned beef hash, spam and sandwich spread and another for canned vegetables Bread, rolls, grains, homemade pasta, cereals and the like are stored in special humidity controlled bins I order from Amazon Prime - which usually get delivered to my doorstep about an hour after I order them. . Stuff from the family garden and orchard, like onions, bell peppers, tomatoes, cauliflower, cucumber, pumpkins, carrots, corn celery,, potatoes and yams, cherries, blueberries and strawberries get canned in Mason Jars and stored in the cool, root cellar of this wonderful rambling former farmhouse (circa 1867) I share with my extended blended family and several rambunctious dogs raised on table scraps from the some of the finest food from a plethora of sources both commercial and home based. . There's even a special separate "summer kitchen" which I converted to store butter and ice cream churns, pots, pans, utensils, extra storage containers, foil, bags, cutlery, and other meal related accoutrement. Out back in the woods, just beyond the big pile of wood I maintain all year, (for use in an antique woodstove I keep on hand, in case the power goes out) there's even an old rusting vintage still where my great grandfather made some of the finest corn whiskey for miles. Next to it is the rusting hulk of the Ford Model A he used to transport that powerful hootch by the light of the moon on soft summer nights to his eager customers in a tri-county area. Further into this verdant forest of mostly sycamore, oak, pine and scrub, runs a cool stream into which I occasionally cast a rod or net to catch some Brook Trout, Bluntnose Shiners, or whatever takes the bait (just earthworms for the most part). And yes, hunting season means wild turkey, deer, and even an occasional wild boar. Next week, I'm planning on filing for a permit to 3-D print a smokehouse in order to be able to create gourmet artisan handcrafted, beef, bacon, turkey, and beef stick jerky, which interested local merchants can private label for other people to share with their families and their family dogs. Unfortunately, i had to break the bad news to my free range hens today that due to expected egg shortages regretfully numbered are their days of laying a couple of eggs and then basically taking the rest of the day off with ranging privileges' within the parameters of a few very nice rural acres - parts of which are rich with fat grubworms. There's even a short dirt road between the main barn and the farmhouse which they're free to cross to get to the other side as often as they'd like. My rooster Ben overheard me and he ain't too happy either, knowing full well that due to oncoming egg shortages, he'll be "workin' overtime to make sure there's plenty of eggs for me an the family.
Two pretty ladies in that machine. Good job👍. Stay safe, have a good day.
Kenzi is a fast learner and always good for a chuckle 🤭
