The true mark of dairy farmer. ALWAYs tired from the relentless schedule and immense amount of work. Mackensie is so funny as she laughs at herself often. A lady comfortable in her own skin. The best kind of woman.
That’s funny at the end of the video when you were talking about not being a thrill seeker and the next shot is Sanders riding his bike off the silage pile😂 I noticed that Kevin has really warmed up to the camera. I remember your earlier videos he was a little bit more quiet. You can tell he makes the effort to because he knows making videos is important to you and you enjoy it therefore it’s important to him👍 The nice family atmosphere is what makes your videos great
Ok good , on the open the door thing , push in on it as you push the botton in on the handle, I had a International, that had a door like that too, it opened a lot easier with a push in on it as you opened it, love it thanks y’all BigAl California
that clamp scene takes me back to filing them. Doing it one day with a backrake and the clutch shaft snapped so i couldn't get out of gear - heading for the wall = exit tractor head first knocking the off button on the way out! quick weld later and back at it. Prayer was offered then!!
Lord Mackenzie is so funny 😊 I'm glad to see she's back driving her truck. I know it's a big help to y'all when all the kids are their to help out on the farm. Your older kids may have other jobs and all but I'm sure they will always find time to help on the family farm.
Hi! New to your channel! It reminds me of summers in Illinois working on my uncle’s farm. I live just outside of Detroit. I didn’t realize that I missed your your lifestyle. Thanks! I’ll be watching more.
I appreciate yours and Kate's channel, interesting to learn how our food products are grown, living in Hawaii most of our stuff get imported, but we have a few cattle ranches, been driving end dump for 30 years, nice to see something different, love your tight knit family atmosphere, you guys rock!
Love your crops come in! do you think you have enough for the winter a Spring? How is happy to see Mackenzie. it's good to see family working together.
Good video again it was good to see her on the video tell her to get back on the videos videos pretty eyes good job working y’all keep the good work up tell everybody I said what’s up be safe
Hello again, I am so impressed with all the equipment that you have on your farm. I am a fairly new viewer and tried guessing where you are located. I thought Indiana at first because of how your cow barns are constructed. Lot of dairies in the Fair Oaks area. Then I decided maybe Iowa. Don’t remember why. Was surprised to learn you are in Michigan. I can relate to your operation and life style in 3 very diverse ways. Be safe young lady.👍👍🛫🚛💨💨💨
Acres of Clay Homestead 1. Retired Ag pilot! Although never sprayed corn. Mostly cotton, alfalfa, and grains in Arizona. 2. Wife worried about me a lot so I quit and started driving an 18 wheeler. Drove for food grade tank truck outfit and loaded milk here in Clovis, New Mexico. Loads would go to Wisconsin, South Dakota, Alabama, Tennessee, Florida, Georgia, California, Arizona, and the Carolinas. Amazing the amount of milk that is shipped around the country. We now have the largest cheese plant in the country here in Clovis. They process well over a million pounds of milk a day. Have a very nice day and I enjoy your videos. 😸🚛💨💨💨🛫
I love the smell of fresh cut silage and when it is hauled by a pretty lady that makes it even better... I hope you cleaned MacKenzie's truck out. If I remember correctly she had a go round with some spiders last year. Rhonda what is the tank for mounted to the right of the chopper cab?
Seems like spiders have a way of finding their way into the trucks. 😬 The tank on the chopper is for applying dry inoculate to the product we are chopping.
I LOVE home made salsa! That looks good. Still a few weeks out on the corn here in Connecticut but what a great growing season it was minus all the extreme wind it had to hold on tightly through. Take care Ronda and family!
I remember hunting pheasants in the corn on our farm at 9 years old and the corn was way shorter then. The corn is so much taller now You would never see them now when they flush. Crazy.
Funny story we live in the city. I bought my granddaughter a bird feeder cause she loves cardinals well long story short apparently there’s sorghum seed in there cause now it’s growing in our back yard 😂
Now all the concrete runways and side walls make sense, damn sure tell this isn’t your first harvest, many hands make the work look like a well oiled process!
Holy smokie's that's some tall corn. If I had a farm I would harvest corn that way, clean's up the field good. Are you guys going to have to build a roof over the silage ? Or just tarp it ? HAPPY TUESDAY. 😉👍👍✌✌🙏
I can understand why you don’t like pushing up the piles. That’s a long way up there. You’re gonna have some happy cows with fresh feed. Does the corn ever ferment in those big piles? I guess you really would have some happy cows then. It would make cow tipping easier. I may be a city girl, but I know, cow tipping is not real. It might be possible if they were drunk, though. Hehehe. Your family is like a well oiled machine, working together to get the job done. By the way, your salsa looked delicious! Blessings, Love & Hugs from Vicki in Ft. Worth, Texas 🇨🇱🇺🇸👍❤️🥰🙏
I hope everyone wears a well fitted mask. The public is a bad place. We have years of Covid-19 to go. Sanders is the epitome of youth. I loved how you said,"nice" when he came down off the corn pile and spun around. In such a short time he won't care about that anymore. I wish I could just once more see my son doing that very kind of thing!
А осмотр грузовика водитель проводил??? Наличие масел, жидкостей? Тормоза проверял (пневмосистему систему)? Работу фар-фонарей? Или вот так завел и поехал???
The world has finally globalized. We live more than 3000 km away from you, but we harvest corn from our fields and harvest it for the winter in the same way. But car tires from the wheels that keep the film on the silo pit is some kind of new know-how.. 😁 Probably we also need to use such incredibly advanced technology.. 😁😃😄
@@acresofclayhomestead We cover the silo in different ways. But usually the bags are filled with sand. If you want, I can send you a photo of an agricultural owner and a farm in our area (Eastern Europe). There are private farms, but mostly agricultural enterprises are financed by the state. Dairy and meat products are supplied to the markets of Europe, Russia and partly to China. Actually, I am not the owner of any dairy farm, I sell some apples, but I am interested in everything related to agricultural enterprises 😉
I love Mackenzie she’s so cute and she’s only a reflection of her mom two wonderful women
Oh boy another driving lesson I love all of her facial expressions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, exactly what we need to do in order to open the door. 😊

Have fun school clothes shopping! 😀
She was able to find some really good deals. 😁😁
Another great video. It was nice to see Kenzie back in the truck 🙂
My favorite time of year! Corn Silage harvest, the hum of the chopper is music to my ears.

Welcome to our channel!! Thank you for watching! 😊
At the beginning , about the flat tire. I don't worry about those, not when I have seven more. 😉
Another great video.
Best wishes.
Yup, ran the truck again today with the bad tire... 🙃
A very entertaining 15 mins. of good footage.
Twins are back 🤗another great video from a hard working family👌Aloha from Hawaii🤙🏝

Young Sarah from Farming fixing and Fabrication u tibe,Sarah just got a new Freightliner with about a hundred thousand miles on it

Good luck with college Kensy
You're a good semi driver too!

Better watch out, some over the road trucking company is going to grab you two gals up. The two prettiest truck drivers I've seen

How do you Coordinate or Communicate with the Others as to Where to Load inside the Trailer ?
It's all done by hand signals, and the truck driver can kinda judge when to move. 😁
Beautiful Corn! Love the vids 😃
I remember hunting pheasants in the corn on our farm at 9 years old and the corn was way shorter then. The corn is so much taller now You would never see them now when they flush. Crazy.
The corn looks good.
Good video guys 👍 it sure looks like you guys had a long day.
re bonjour merci pour cette belle vidéo d ensilage 👍👍👍👍
It's a never ending cycle when you run a farm. It's easy to see your husband is still so in love with you. Have a great day
Salut vous tank you vidéo magnifique super
You gotta try chopped mangos in your salsa, it sounded crazy to me but after I tryed it, it was great
I don't think I've ever made it with mango... Might have to try that. 😊
@@acresofclayhomestead it's good, give it a try
Beautiful god bless!
Great video folks. Have a safe fall.
I noticed your row spacing looked close are you planting on 20 inch rows? Enjoy your channel
Actually we plant 15" rows. Good eyes for noticing. 😊
Sanders at home school? It was good to see your daughter. You cannot tell young boy to be careful I tried. As always enjoyed the videos.
Yes, Sanders is homeschooled
i love fall time
like #1000!! another great vid. take care & stay safe. cheers
Thank you!!
Funny story we live in the city. I bought my granddaughter a bird feeder cause she loves cardinals well long story short apparently there’s sorghum seed in there cause now it’s growing in our back yard 😂
Lol. 😂 I would love to see cardinals at my feeders!!
Acres of Clay Homestead we had three females here today right above the sorghum
Hi from Australia !!!
Beautiful gorgeous mckenzie 😍😘😍😘🚜🚜
Now all the concrete runways and side walls make sense, damn sure tell this isn’t your first harvest, many hands make the work look like a well oiled process!
I'm glad they make sense now. 😊
Poland farmer Tomek greets 🇵🇱
Great to see such a good crop of corn being harvested 👍 are u totally self sufficient in winter feed for the animals 🤔
No, we don't farm enough acres to be self sufficient.
Love the videos
Nice looking corn you guys got how many acres do you have and how many cows do you have
Your mother is great look lady there
Holy smokie's that's some tall corn. If I had a farm I would harvest corn that way, clean's up the field good. Are you guys going to have to build a roof over the silage ? Or just tarp it ? HAPPY TUESDAY. 😉👍👍✌✌🙏
The silage will get covered with plastic.
I can understand why you don’t like pushing up the piles. That’s a long way up there. You’re gonna have some happy cows with fresh feed. Does the corn ever ferment in those big piles? Yes, the silage goes through a fermentation cycle, but it doesn't turn into alcohol. it turns the sugars into and acid. It's a way of preserving feed.
I hope everyone wears a well fitted mask. The public is a bad place. We have years of Covid-19 to go. Sanders is the epitome of youth. I refuse to wear a mask whenever possible. I service a God that is so much bigger than this virus and I refuse to live in fear of it.
Acres of Clay Homestead good for you.
How is harvest going
So far so good. 😁
we love go time :)))
Just need to know when to stop at the top
😬
How much more do the semis hold than the straight truck?
The Artex trailer (white trailer) holds 3 times the amount of the straight truck. The aluminum dump holds 2 times the amount.
When you say " well blow it up for me" the first thing that popped into my mind was dynamite, kerboom. Ha ha
No more blowing up that tire. It's literally blown up!
Lol! 😂
Add yer favorite spaghetti sauce to yer salsa! really good!
I believe that’s the first cab tractor I’ve seen on your farm. Y’all seem to prefer open station tractors.
They also have a Challenger tractor with a cab.
@@farmboy5622 Oh, that's right. I forgot about that tractor.
How long after you cut it could you feed it.
Same day. The cows love fresh feed.
Mackinzie is a pro truck driver.
Hello 👋 🖐🏿🖐🏿
Pre - Trip lol. Flat tire
So your not driving down to go to Cedar Point with me?
Lol. I've only been to Cedar Point once and it was my first and last time on a roller coaster. 😬😳😂
