Wow I’ve never seen a header throw chaff that far before. 60 Ft !! 😳 great video guys, player of the match goes to Brad for crawling under the thing 👍😁 merry Christmas to your whole family
Hello Jackson brothers, thanks very much for the video and it is very impressive harvester, I would hate to think how much it's worth. However the extra productity could be worth it, but down side could be you may not be able to work on it. Thanks Stephen
They tested on of those 60fters here in SK. I think 2yrs ago, it was ok in thinner crops, but in heavy the acres/hr. fell off a cliff and the l/hr on fuel were out near Jupiter.
@@davidmaxep5434 It shouldn't make any difference, slower ground speed with a wider front and faster ground speed with a narrower front. Either way hectares per hour shouldn't change.
MATT thanks mate wasn’t really expecting a video until January. This is a very interesting machine from a mechanical engineering perspective. Some great cotton crops and perhaps we see one at Moree 😁😁 Any way hope all the Jackson family have a great xmas break, I’m sure we are all looking forward to your 2025 year. Cheers from Pete in IPSWICH.
Would be the best video of the big NH that is going around. Think the 60 foot front will be a handful on your contours and for any one with melon hole country. An excellent width for flat country
It's not green, and has fewer moving parts than before, so should be easier to maintain. But we don't know how this would perform with Moree rocks.....
Doesn’t look like a 5t/ha crop from Moree, I just look at how much ground you can see under the crop before it is cut in the aerial. It might need a few extra wheels on the front to handle the contours. I guess the auger is about 10 m long? Nothing like a bit of sand.
Looks great but still massive advantages running two cheaper more basic ones. This machine is great when it is working well, bit still needs a twin sister too .
Have you guys looked into using or trialing a stripper header? I think it’s by a UK crowd called Sherbourne?? From some of the YT videos I’ve seen they can harvest at a much taller height and what you lose in HP driving the header front you gain more by not having to thrash as much straw through the main chamber and sieves. It might keep the smaller machines you’ve got going a bit longer without having to completely re-do the CTF tracks and other equipment to a bigger width.
I’m sure Brad will find a way to tweak the horsepower issue. Was the first hat Brad was wearing a bit of clue as to the brand of the new trailer for the Star?
That's the best video I've seen on this combine, not that I've looked but most just show it combining and little else.
Cheers Jackson.
That’s an amazing bit of machinery. Never driven a harvester where you max out horse power before you max out the sieves. Many thanks Matt & Brad
It's a very impressive harvester. Thanks for sharing guys 👍
Really enjoyed the video thanks Matt and Brad. What a awesome machine. Looking forward to seeing it in future Jackson Bros operations. Cheers
Very impressive bit of gear...
That was a very good video. Just like a bought one.

Better than any New Holland ad..
Now buy 2...
Love the senate enquiry Brad "ill get back to you with the calculation". Amazing understanding of these machines Mate.
Yeap, question on notice.
Thanks for the review, fantastic bit of gear

Very impressive. Gotta say, yellow looks a lot better than green this year.
Impressive machine. Looks like you broke out the new shirts for the trip, very shmick. I know what’s on your Santa list😊
Good video boys,a closer look at grain sample would have been handy,😮
Talk to Santa for a couple for Christmas merry Christmas.
I can see that head getting caught on some of those contour embankments
You know you want it
Been a good year in WA. Third biggest grain harvest on record. Might be selling a few of these machines here. 😂

Advertising you got a poor crop!

But can you repair it?
It's not green, and has fewer moving parts than before, so should be easier to maintain. But we don't know how this would perform with Moree rocks.....
It was amazingly simple but that usually means electrically not simple 😂
First Season with an FD241 big improvement on old FD75 👌

It’s a big machine I call it the John Deer X9 eater
Good watch

If the boys buy this they'll have three. Just sayin' :)
Nice header
HOW MUCH $ ????
How would a 60 ft head go up against the contours would be interesting to see how much flexibility it has

I see you already answered about your contours? So you want two units?
We would love 2 40ft flex fronts for the ones we have👍
@@thejacksonbrotherstell boss man Phil to pull the trigger on ordering them 🎉🎉
Would have to cough up 3 million for two
Phenomenal capacity in these big machines. The next time you have a spare million you can make a downpayment on one.

Maybe..😂😂
Just charge it to the US federal goberment. We are broke anywayz
Remember the contour banks ?? how will 60' front go with your contour banks.
😂 yep surprisingly this flex front could be better then what we use now, it’s pretty cool
Impressive bit of gear
I’d avoid heads made in Dalby go McDon and Geringhoff
They around 1.3 million Aus dollars +
