Great vid Ronda as usual very informative. Good old Dakota riding shotgun lol but he had that boredom yawn. So you don't get stuck in the future maybe look into tractor trailer field tires. I know Carlisle, Harvest King and even Firestone make them. Glad to see the walkie talkies are being used. Hopefully they are good enough for farm work. Thank Kevin and the rest of the fam for letting us tag along.
I can't help but thinking how much you help your husband. The two if you make a great couple. You have a great family. Nothing better in life is having a living family. God Bless you all
Expect some cold weather this winter. Keep those animals healthy.. I applaud you helping your Husband on the farm. That takes a special Women. You understand what it takes. God Bless you and your family
Another great video Rhonda. The corn looks great. Dakota was riding shotgun to keep you company. Y'all take care and have a blessed day and I'll see you on your next video. We're just waiting around to see how bad the storm is gonna be when it hits here.
My favorite time of year, love corn chopping, except for the wet ground, hate getting stuck, you always get so much work done even when the kids are at other jobs, lot of work right now, thankfully Sanders can help in so many ways now, excellent video, thanks for sharing Rhonda and Kevin
.... Oh the fun of mud ... slip-slidin-away ... thx for going more into the ear-lige .... great job with the drone .... thx for the share Rhonda and gang .. as always .. never stop dreaming, just dream bigger .. have fun be safe, save our oceans ....
Haha. Yeah, I bet everyone likes telling their story and how to do it best. It really does come down to what works for you. Every operation is different. Acres, cow numbers, equipment, labour etc. just keep doin what works. Safe harvest.
Some people just need to take things with a grain of salt. Just because they don't like it, doesn't mean it's wrong. If it works out for youdefinitely don't change it. Great video Rhonda.
I just want to say I love watching your guys's Farm how your family so involved in it that's so cool you guys take care keep making these great videos I love learning about everything farming take care God bless
Hello there happy farmers. We have had hard rain for a day. In places there's been flood's because the land was so dry. Water just ran off and flooded some of the villages.
Thanks for explaining the difference between Earledge and silage, I was confused before, but this helped. We enjoyed the harvesting and the drone work, thanks a bunch.
How often do you spread manure on the fields? Can you make a video about what you do with all the cow waste you guys have? Tell Dakota yawning is contagious. How long is the corn in the field before you go out and chop it?
That's the beauty with farming, not everyone has to do it the same to be successful! Have been helping the neighbors again this year driving a semi similar to yours, had to quit to do my own farm work! A month straight and they are still not done! It takes awhile to do 5300 acres!
Ronda When the weather turns cool and nasty like rain after you and Kevin are done with all your chores and you both retire for the evening then it’s time to snuggle up to each other and cuddle. Lol😊 and thank the lord for another beautiful day
Hi Ronda and Kevin and sanders again what beautiful video loving how families working together drone was awesome Dakota was awesome and as always you and you’re families all be safe 🇺🇸🇺🇸
You know, folks have to do what they think is right, what works for their operation, that's just my thinking. It all looks good to me, course I'm not an expert, like others🤨, so there's that. Nice video and good explanation! Good luck on the rest of your silage and field work, thanks for sharing, have a great weekend.
How much land do you own,or lease? How do you find time to do all the farm and dairy work, plus maintenace on everything, and also raise and take care of a familey?Do you hire others to help out on farm?Your an amazing group of hard working people!
Awesome vlog. I think everyone has there own way of doing things but why change something that works for you? I noticed your muffler on your Massey looks loose. It looked like it was moving back and forth?
Corey Perron channel "2020 Central Wisconsin Sweet Corn Harvest - good drone footage. Or drive around southern MN in August and September. MN is ranked 1st or second in commercial sweet corn production for canning and freezing along with Washington. Florida is the largest producer of fresh market on the cob sweet corn.
Ronda -- That disc sure does a nice job on that corn ground. IMO it does a better job than those modern EXPENSIVE tillage tools (or "diggers" as some call them). So, regarding earlage vs. silage, are the only differences the moisture content of the corn and that one chops the whole plant while the other chops only the cob with the corn on it (with a few leaves maybe)? Why is high-moisture corn or earlage even necessary anyway? Couldn't the whole plant be chopped and fed as silage while it is high moisture and thus save the extra work?
Ronda thank you so much for another informative video I know that you explained the difference between the both but I’ll have to admit it’s all Latin to me 😊 but I kinda get the just of what you are explaining Hoping the weather cooperates so that you can still get more out of the growing season Until next video take care of yourself and all of your family❤😊
Hum I'm curious how come you don't Bush hog the stocks down I work on a farm now an so far I've been Bush hoging the bean stocks down the past two weeks they still have alot of beans out but the corn isn't ready yet to pick after that I suppose they will have me Bush hog the Stocks down im ok pulling two gravity wagons but it kind of scares me when passing anything on the road im slowly getting use to it ps I haven't got stuck yet crossing my fingers I might have to get me a passenger one day great vedio I've learned something new too take care everyone always great to see your vedios too ..........

Wow!! Lots of acres!!!!
Thanks for a intrasting video
We have made more hay this year. It's been cheeper than rapping silo bails. Plus we have had the weather for it.
I assume the silage makes good feed for your dry herd.
Love the sky cam. 😃😃😃
Nothing like fresh Corn Jersey Sweet corn 🌽
We're getting a lot of rain, here in North Carolina, from Hurricane Ian. We're supposed to get it all weekend.
Hope you're not getting flooded!!
It's just a tropical depression, and we're not getting it as bad as the beach is. It's supposed to be over with at one o'clock tonight.
It hit South Carolina hard, it knocked about all the fishing piers.
A great video Rhonda
Ronda

Have you gone past your home place to see how demo and rebuild is going? Thanks for the video! Have a blessed weekend
I haven't been there in quite awhile. Need to make effort to see what's going on over there.

Thé corn is beautiful
Always glad to see the fields being harvested no matter what it is used for.
Do you ever bush hog the earlage fields before discing?
No, we don't hassle with bush hogging the fields.
Exhaust stack on tractor looks like it is loose. I saw it shaking back and forth
Yeah, it needs welding.

Good morning 🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞 gorgeous 🌹. Got all of that corn harvested ???
Awesome vlog. I think everyone has there own way of doing things but why change something that works for you? I noticed your muffler on your Massey looks loose. It looked like it was moving back and forth?
Rhonda, do you and Kevin ever plant sweet corn? If so could you do a video on how it's harvest. Thanks Don Meyer from Minnesota.
I only plant a few rows in the garden.
Corey Perron channel "2020 Central Wisconsin Sweet Corn Harvest - good drone footage. Or drive around southern MN in August and September. need better mud type tires on the semi tractor
Hey Rhonda great video n what’s your thoughts 💭 on 2023 Ford Super Duty truck
what does silage consist of then the whole stalk ground up
Yes!
That is some very green corn. Where do you live? Iit looks like a month early. How do you store green corn.
OK YOURE REAAAL COUNTRY ACE, AND THIS IS ONLY GOOD,IM GLAD ,AND I LIKE COUNTRY LIFE TO,THIS IS FUN AND LETS TAKE JACKY AND CHIP

Higher feed value and concentrated nutrients in earlage. Whole plant silage alone can't supply the needs of dairy cattle in full production.
How far away from the farm did eathon move to .or do both live at home ? And congrats to the newlyweds.
A dog in the cab for company is nice. I miss my dogs.
are you using 20" rows?
Do you sell any corn or just use for feed
We use all our corn.
Ronda thank you so much for another informative video

How many acres of corn did you all plant this year?
"Ethan can't help because he's mowing hay", good to know I'm not the only one trying to get the last of the hay in at the same time as the corn🙂
Gotta get one last cutting in. 😃
Deere must have sold a zillion 6910 s. I see those all over the place yet. We had a 1993 model and put alot of hours on it before we sold it.
It's been a reliable machine and pretty easy to work on when needed.
She's a family dog sooo she likes being with the family
Maybe put on big floaters!
Now I know why the corn is so tall and green. Plenty of that liquid gold spread on it.
Is Dakota in need of a last grooming this year? Or is the color just that tight?
How did y’all operate before your kids got big enough to really help?
We hired more and swapped work with other farmers.
Stuck in the mud... What did you expect with road tyres on that field? You need a UNIMOG, haha
Muffler on discing tractor needs some jb weld
Quel discours !@@@
