The bolt that holds the retaining plate in place will not fall into the bottom of the door as it is a fixed captive bolt!!

It acts like it's captive but it is not. It will unscrew all the way out.

But now we need a video where we install radio antennas for keyless entry. I already bought myself such door handles, but my Cooper S does not have an antenna, that is, the keyless entry does not work. It will be great to see a video like this!

My 2024 2 door S needed a 4mm allen ball hex. My suggestion is to purchase an inclusive set , and CYA.

Can these handles fit a mini cooper hatchback 05 plate i have the silly handles with a long button bar inside the handle you push in its hard to open both doors ?

Unfortunately they won’t but if you buy new ones they should be a little bit easier

Yeah you can as a cheaper alternative.
We have tried all the options… wrapping, clip on plastic but I have found the finish is not even close to the original parts.
