    Next time use dental floss. Works great and less chance to damage the paint.

    My new black Mini badges come in the mail today and I’m so happy to see how easy it is! Thanks for the video, it’s really helpful.

    I usually use a length of fishing line to cut through the sticky tape behind a badge and then the badge easily comes off.

      Yes that’s a great way to do it… I just didn’t have any 😂🙏

    Get your heat gun on low and heat it checking it fairly often. It will come off with no damage to it or the car with little to no residue left behind. Then heat it as you peal the remaining adhesive off.

    Has that car had the LCI headlights fitted? It looks to be a pre facelift f56 judging by the grille/bumper

    Hi, I have a Cooper S 2016 F56. Is the new black badge (like the one on the video) compatible with the one in my Mini?

    • @TheOfficialMiniGuy

      Yes 100% will fit like a dream. 🙏

    Great video! I am trying to buy the Mini badge of the steering wheel for a F56 Mini S 2016. On my local Mini dealer they told me that they sell it only with the whole thing of airbag for an expensive price. Do you know where I can buy it and the part number if possible? I appreciate your assistance

    • @TheOfficialMiniGuy
      @TheOfficialMiniGuy  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Okay so sorry for the late reply, I did make a few enquiries for you. Yes the mini badge is connected to the air bag which would mean buying the whole thing at around £400+ so I did check out other options and they do have a badge on eBay for £9.99

    Will these also fit my Mini Cooper F56 (2014)? It already has the facelift but it says that these emblems are for models from 2018 (2018 facelift) or newer only 🤔 I see that the new emblem is slightly reduced but it looks like they are similar in size. Thank you so much 👏🏼

      Yeah they will fit any F56 model (Gen 3) 👊🏻

    Hi. Any tips for getting the plastic trim around the wheel arches back to a really deep black colour again? I tried some AutoGlym restorer but it still has a white ish coat on some parts of the plastic? Much appreciated!

    “Rubeddy, rub, rub!” - a line that has been wooing ladies for centuries no doubt. Great job.going to try and do a chrome delete on my f60 piece meal. Not a lot of cash so have bought tape for most of it. It also should allow me to do a factory reset come sale time.

    Why on earth you did not apply some heat to soften the adhesive on the first place? Why on earth you are using a pry tool? Why you did not use fishing line or even dental floss?The worst video tutorial on removing badges…
