I’m thinking of doing this to my mini cooper S I just bought, except for doing the belt line. Any idea how easy they are to remove and if it causes any damage to the car in case I go to sell it in future.

Hi Adam, I used to have a MK3 Nitrous Blue RS but now have a JCW Mini. I’ve already done the door handles and filler cap, and the front & back lights + front grill were already black when I bought the car.
I was considering the £300+ proper black belt line kit from MINI but the tape might be a better (and FAR cheaper!) option, how long did it take for you to fit the tape on the chrome belt line?

i usually dont like chrome on cars....besides the Mini. The classic Minis were chrome so to keep true to heritage I like the chrome. Also depends on the color. I have a white silver like you so chrome looks good on it, so does black. I just have black stripes too and with black headlight trim makes the car look like a panda bear. Some colorrs esp. darker ones look better with black trim while the lighter colors look better chrome
