is the interior of this tx peppercorn?
Have you seen Lexus LM?
@@powerlinkers yes i have seen the lm but i never have seen peppercorn leather in person or realtime video because i live in the us so not sure what you are getting at?
Lexus RX does have rear sunshades.
@@mirai_T i never mentioned sunshades or rx lexus what are you telling me?
I applaud you guys for always being one of the very first reviewers of new vehicles here in the US. I am not even done watching your review on the facelift Hyundai Elantra when I noticed this brand new video about the Lexus TX. Keep up the good work, guys!!!
Thanks so much! We love to bring you guys all the latest vehicles as fast as possible!
Your intro is very distinctive, it tells me: " Calm down, calm down, I know you're excited about our review, no rush here, sit back and REEELAX."
Fellas your presentation skills have improved and become much more mature and pronounced over the past few years. Pretty much comes natural to you guys now. Great job. Keep it up.
Thank you, friend!
best channel, almost always on top of new cars and the constant comparison vids is the best!
Wow, thanks! We appreciate that 😊
Best looking 7 seater so far I have ever seen...😮
I like the room and it ends there. All competitors look way better
No the room isn’t good either. It’s not better than a telluride or palisade
I totally agree, this thing is plain looking and ugly.
@@naveenthemachine The TX has about 10 cubic feet more in total behind the 1st row than the palisade or telluride; that's in no way 'isn't good' for room lol
@@Coupe-sy9nkI saw it up close in the show room it looks better in person
Finally a useable 3 row from Lexus. Great video.
I wonder how long you can use the 1500w inverter at any given time. Hopefully Lexus allows it to run for extended periods of time. Will be great for the campsite!
Fantastic review as always guys, that background is beautiful!😸
Thanks! We found a great parking garage with city skyline views of Austin
Wow! I love it! It’s really cool! Did y’all go to the rock concert 😂
Wow… good work guys
brilliant video , very practical
I love the way you guys present , keep it up guys ! Really love your contents , good luck !🎉
You should have added a segment listing the advantages of the Lexus v Grand Highlander and vice versa.
We will save that for a future comparison... Stay tuned!
Agreed
This is a grand highlander twin
Could you make a video comparing the Lexus TX to the Grand Highlander?
Well great Explain about everything I need to know and explained very smooth with strong professional detail thanks bros.
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching!
Excellent!
Lexus got this model spot on !!! Your camera angles don’t do justice to this beautiful car
I saw it in the show room yesterday. I was blown away with how beautiful this suv is, and it’s cheaper than my es350 ultra luxury. It has a 4cylinder but it has a lot of power. It also looks more premium in person.
Nice video! Can you please do a comparison btw the TX and Toyota GHL? Letting people know which parts or advantages they will get other than just a Lexus badge by paying $12000 more. Thanks😂
Thanks! And we do plan to have a comparison in the future!
Amazing SUV guys!
After the lease is up on my Kia Sorento, I’m going to make the change to this. I originally was going to get a Cx-90 but I like this!
Get the cx90 instead. It’s better than this rav4
How does this compare to the 2023 pilot elite? Very similar features other than the auto parking
It looks so good in black..
Hey, guys. Good review. What about GX? Any approximate date?
Our best estimate is early next year. But we should hear more official information sooner than that
If only buyers would accept that what they really need is a minivan, they'd stop trying to cram seats into crossovers and give us a true luxury minivan.
The crap consumers put up with to avoid purchasing minivans is hilarious. Almost no three-row SUV's have a truly comfy third row, and minivans get such good gas mileage. Pride over practicality is leading to development of some odd vehicles. $60k to $80k for unattractive 2-row SUV's with forced third rows lol.
@@broadneydangerfieldagreed. I went from a 08 rx 350 to a Toyota Sienna minivan. Love it!
Turn signals are way too small.
Great overview of the car!
Hello gentlemen. Good review on the 2024 Lexus TX 350. Lexus says the TX 350 is the replacement for the third row seating RX 350L. The prime reason for that according to their words is "the RX 350L wasn't roomy enough." The standard two row seating RX 350 will remain standing. That vehicle will not get replaced. As for the Lexus TX 350 I like the rugged look to it. The interior is spacious for seating as well as for storage. I also like the fact that the infotainment screen is a little larger and more importantly it's more integrated to the dashboard for a much cleaner seamless look. Like what was mentioned in this video Lexus should've placed a little more wood panels for the interior. I assume Lexus will probably include more wood panels for the two high trim level models TX 500H or TX 550H like what Jeep did with the Grand Cherokee L in the Summit and Summit Reserve trims. Months down the road it would be nice if a comparison video be done between the Jeep Grand Cherokee L from the Overland trim or higher and the Lexus TX in the middle trim or higher. Price points for the two vehicles from the middle trims or higher are almost the same. The length of both vehicles are almost the same as well with the Jeep Grand Cherokee L coming in at 204 inches and the Lexus TX coming in at 203 inches. One thing both vehicles have in common and isn't found on the other competitors is power folding the 3rd row seats in two ways from the cargo area as well as from the lower portion of the C pillars. The other competitors only from the cargo area the third row seats can get folded. Besides the Jeep Grand Cherokee L, it would be nice to see when the time comes that the Lexus TX in comparison videos against the Acura MDX and Infiniti QX60. Right outta the gate it'll beat those two vehicles in terms of overall space, storage and available powertrains. Well, good review on this vehicle, and I'm looking forward to seeing the drive video when Lexus allows it.
yeah in terms of size, the upcoming GMC acadia will be around the same size as well
@@huanronghu4432 Ok. That's good.
Is this built off the Grand HIghlander platform?
Yea I want this
In a V6 only model
hi.. can u do a comparison on sequoia and tx350
Wish you guys would do a review of the Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit. I test drove it and it was shockingly good - adjustable air suspension for a fantastic ride and great in the snow or mild off road, plush interior, massage front seats (both), heated and ventilated seats, heated rear seats with 4 zone climate control, night vision, driver assist, lane assist, park assist, etc etc etc ... and its American made.
We asked for one but Keep has never been able to get us one to test ☹️
Your resolve is the fuel of success! 🔥 -- "Every setback endured with unflagging spirit is a step toward triumph.."
Nice 2nd row BENCH seating.
Is the interior as nice as the top trim Mazda CX-90 ?
No this ones better. the Mazdas still nice tho
They really struck out on the styling on this vehicle. Mandatory captains chairs in the second row in top trims is also a huge fail for our family with three kids who sometimes need a full second row to maximize cargo space.
Agreed both grand highlander and this are so big and boaty and zero cut or design on outside. I ended up getting the RX don’t care about third row and couldn’t be happier. at first I was obsessed with 3 rows until I realized what the heck for.
@@artieartya To carry more than 5 people. What else?
@@lkae4 minivan at that point. Hard truth.
We just looked at this car at the dealer and you can get a 3 seater bench in the second row. It’s an option versus second row captain chairs. Just let the dealer know you prefer the full 2 nd row bench, it is an option.
@@artieartya Truth!
How wide is tge seat on the very back row
According to Popular Mechanics, there are three most important values in a car: engine, transmission and suspension. Notice that body design is not included. Can your report be more exhaustive as to include the 3 factors mentioned by PM?
Is the interior of the TX on par or better than the top tier Mazda CX-90 ?
Not even close. The tx is way below par
Amazing vehicle! I’d get this over the RX
why not GX?
@@MrTeslaXthat and land cruiser are better but we need room 😊
That grill looks like the 'cow catcher' that was on the front of those old steam powered locomotives of a long gone era.
The power train with the most power, most reliability… ALSO returns the highest mpg??? That’s a home run
The reliability on this is completely unproven at this point.
Remember that you are having to use premium gas in the 350. That means the annual cost, according to the EPA estimator, is similar to a Tahoe. That is a lot per year.
@@almassengale if you are buying a luxury brand and paying 60K+, all while worrying about paying extra for gas, you need to get your priorities straight
I really love the look of the GX but the power trains and size of this might win me over especially in the plug in. Love plug ins… i never need gas around town but for any trip its amazing.
You prefer turbo I4 over twin turbo V6?
@@bohan9957The plug-in hybrid 550h+ has the 3.5L V6 engine compared to the 2.4L Turbo 4 for 350 and 500h.
@@bohan9957 there’s a v6 plug in.. that’s the one i prefer and really only due to efficiency. Can’t do a true gas car again, just too insane gas wise and less n less so as years go
@@jissanhuq3792 I see. The TX500h is already rumored to be priced at close to $70K. I'm scared to even think about how much the TX550h will cost. At that price range it's in the GX550 and Tesla Model X territory.
@@bohan9957 absolutely and what puts me in a bind cuz at 70+ k i can consider other brands but not sure if they’d have all the practicality of the TX. If they made the gx a hybrid or plug in I’d be all about that. The competition starts getting near 100k so it’s tough. Id want the Toyota variant but a good sound system and telescoping steering is extremely important.
What is with those tiny brake lights?? Not great for visibility in in bad weather
Could you test the Toyota Crown please
We are hoping to have one for a week long test soon 👍
Does android auto and Apple car play require a wire? Because I saw a wire connected to the USB port
No wires required for either one.
They run AA and ACP wirelessly. We were just trying to charge up our phones rapidly which the USB connection is better at than the wireless charger
Hope this model come to NZ 😅
Basically, this car is a Toyota Highlander, recently in the form of a Lexus Tx They have done it right.
The Lexus 2024 tx 350 you is a 7 seater right iam making sure iam hearing right
" Slow-Clap " for an actual , functioning cornering light .
Anyone else notice there are no grab handles on the driver side?
Nnnnnnice! I like it👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍
This looks like a heavy vehicle for the base engine also the brake lights ate so tiny like the rav 4 i dont get it
Isn’t the LX also a 3rd row suv?
Yes and the GX as well. But their third rows are claustrophobic
Finally a meaningful 3rd row.
finally a nice lexus
sigh, this one no bench middle seat for high power train either. same like grand highlander
This beats Acura MDX out of the streams! LoL Acura MDX engineers only wanted riders in the third row to listen music but do not breath (no ac vent in third row)
Similar to the Grand HighLander❤
Nice job in my new dream Lexus SUV guys.
damn near looks like a Grand Highlander from the back lol call this the Lexus Highlander!!!!
You bros are always first cabin. Why are the car companies deleting exhaust pipes? There is no performance or fuel economy purpose in hiding the pipes under the vehicles. An idling vehicle is just going to fill the third row, and more, with fumes. Please explain. Thanks from a longtime subscriber.
They're just hidden slightly behind the bumper but the fumes are still easily able to escape. It's a styling thing and also brands prefer the environmentally friendly image of hiding the exhaust outlets
When you realize the “full-size” LX is more like the size of the mid-size Ford Explorer and the GX is more like the size of a compact SUV.
I find it very weird that this is considered midsize although its bigger than the LX, which is fullsize.
Kinda looks like the old Axiom @ first look
Funny how Toyota made a bigger Highlander and now here comes Lexus making the same SUV at a higher price.
What about the LX570??
This TX has substantially more interior space
nice car but, 1. what will be the waiting time 2. what will be the mark ups 3. how expensive the insurance will be 4. how fast will it get stolen
Exactly also the interest hikes plus these new car prices are ridiculous I wish we all could not buy a vehicle for one month an that will cause the car companies to bow to us and create reasonable prices also lower interest
Yeah Acura mdx has nothing to worry about unless the lack of touch screen is a deal breaker. Lexus has lost their luxury edge. Plain dash, plain looking seats, not enough color contrast in the cabin, not enough wood at all. Wood on the dash and steering wheel was a Lexus hallmark.
This has more engine options. More power. More torque. More MPG. A plug in hybrid. Way more room. More tech. Price is similar.
Different cars. For a family that only needs two rows with an occasional use third row, I think the MDX is the easy choice. For a family that really needs the big third row or extra cargo space, the Lexus makes more sense.
I own a 2022 MDX and the lack of a touchpad is becoming a deal breaker for my wife and I. We love the touchpad and cringe when we see filthy touchscreens which show everything.
Good review, guys.
@@TheBjjones imagine bragging on that. lol.
@@TheBjjones you can’t really brag on an acura lol. I mean the Integra is a Civic. They sell barely 4 vehicles, the same as Buick. The MDX is well done and so is this. Unfortunately for the MDX this has more power, room, features, tech and MPG. Acura doesn’t offer one hybrid and their EV is from GM. So I think it’s safe to say the TX will do well and the MDX will continue to do well no matter what you think it looks like.
What we do know is the 500h and 500h+ has way more power and torque and mpg over the mdx type s they love to show on tv racing and in the desert drifting that no one does. And I think Motor Trend picked the RX 500h over the mdx type s in a recent comparo.
i will wait for the used
Wait for deez nutz
Is it just me, or are the break lights kinda' tiny for this big suv? 😳
That's what I was thinking. Makes the Lexus look cheap.
The Lexus TX and the Toyota Grand Highlander the same platform and also the 2nd and the 3rd row is very roomy back there.
The size.. Is it same size of toyota sequoia or bigger or smaller?
204” long..
It is shorter in overall length but provides more interior space
Police force would love to have this vehicle for sure
The GX and LX also have 3rd rows
”large" is the key word
@@CarConfections The LX is a tank. I’m pretty sure it has a larger third row
If you want a 7 seat suv with a bench seat this might be this best Japanese option
Thats a nice Sequoia
Its shares the same platform as the highlander not the seqouia
Everything is bigger in Texas? Except their roads in the residential area are so narrow.
Compared to Grand Highlander the TX has less utility as it loses the storage shelf and large cup holders to hold put larger water bottles. They added these stupid removal cup holders that every TH-cam reviewers have trouble putting them back. Have fun with rattling cup holder because your kids cannot keep them back correctly.
TX also has less seats compared to GH. Toyota/Lexus should have given a removal middle seat like the MDX.
"Toyota/Lexus should have given a removal middle seat like the MDX."
Yes!
Most of these third row vehicles look good from the second row up. A lot of these third row vehicles really have no room in the third row this vehicle included. It’s amazing how much this vehicle cost with no third row. The GMC Arcadia terrain seem to have a better third row than this high price vehicle.
There is a third row, it's basically full size SUV space inside, which only the current Buick enclave and the upcoming redesigned GMC Acadia can match. The current Acadia is Highlander sized
13;15 it's usc not usb port
Guys waiting for a co aprison with a Pallidase Calligraphy 2023/2024.
The Grand Highlander with a Lexus badge…… literally nothing else altered
Which has better 3rd seats Lexus TX or Palisade?
The TX
@@CarConfections 👍🏻thanks
Palisade hands down. Not even close
This thing is just wierd...the Grand Highlander its based on looks way better
And compared to the competition cars like the Aviator and CX90 just seem way more luxurious and powerful
Agreed. I told everyone this was gonna happen. I called it on June 8th when I said the tx was dead on arrival. That’s exactly what happens and I’m so happy I was right 😁
@@naveenthemachine
Thank you Mr. Krishnamurthy
People just love Lexus so much that they are blind to Lexus shortcomings as a brand
tbh it kinda looks like mazda cx9 but angular
It looks like a slightly raised station wagon to me.
For a moment, it was a bit scary as you were just behind the vehicle and it was in reverse gear
does TX 350 have Hybrid option?
The TX 500h and 550h+ are the hybrid and plug-in hybrid varieties. The 350 is just a turbo 4-cylinder
@@CarConfections OMG ,,,so TX 350
not much different than Grand Highlander and/or other Toyota turbo 4-cylinder then ,,,
@@jpthsd correct. It's exactly the same engine.
The TX500H is so overpriced at 80k with every option added. Ridiculous..can’t imagine the 550h+ pricing..
The new design looks cheap compared to MDX .
@@Jeez001 I agree, love my MDX.
Lexus did a good job further refining their cars in 2024 but unrefined their power trains by going to the 4 banger!
I hate the loss of the v6!
not sure if the exterior is better than the grand highlander.
There’s just something about lexuses these days that seem too close quality wise to Toyotas and lag behind the competitors
Agreed. The retail price gap, required premium unleaded fuel, and loss of the luxury edge is making Lexus vehicles an easy skip these days. Rav4 Prime and updated Land Cruiser are about all I can see myself buying in the next few years. If you'd have told me years ago that I'd choose a Rav4 over a Lexus vehicle, I'd have called you insane. Times are a'changing.
It's almost huge Toyota highlander with luxury offering
One of my Uber drivers had a TX and I was thoroughly disappointed as the interior felt nothing like a Lexus. It seems like they phoned it on with this.
If you are not getting the phev just skip it and get the grand Highlander.
For the price of this model you can already get the full spec hybrid max grand Highlander which has a better engine and fuel economy
Better engine than what? The TX and Grand Highlander in Hybrid Max trim use the same powertrain - at least as far as I know. But maybe you're talking about something else.
@@jsfbay1 I’m talking for the price.
The luxury 2.5t luxury this video is reviewing is more expensive than the hybrid max platinum on the GH. To get a tx with hybrid max you need so spend even more than this
@@sentryion3106Okay, I get you. You're right!
True, the PHEV is probably the only reason if you look for the TX. The 500h (Lexus version of GH hybrid max) is probably not worth the extra compared to the GH hybrid max unless you want Lexus version and Lexus dealer experience.
Exactly this. 550h+ or bust for me, otherwise GH for better gas mileage on the GH Standard Hybrid.
Best in class 😍
is that what the hazard lights look like when they blink?
What city is this

Oh look a Toyota Highlander 😆
